My body & brain seemed clumsier,
Concentrationless, forever making a blunder,
Concentration Conrad, trouble with the catheter…

But compared to Thursday, I was feeling chirpier,
Then, this morning, I turned into a grumbler,
The power supply died well before it got darker…
Life felt it was just too much hassle and bother,
I turned into a frustrated, dispirited, sad creature!
Everything went wrong, tormenting, crueller,
I got the power supply back within the hour,
I awaited life’s next unredeeming feature…
At this, I admit I felt a little perkier,
Why I felt ‘up’ is up for conjecture…
The colour swatches disappeared from CorelDraw,
The batteries expired in the Kodak camera,
Liberty-Global, Virgin Media…
Drove me to the point of hysteria!
Blackout! No internet, TV, Alarm help-caller…
Was it down, or did I make another blunder,
I called on my mobile to Warden Deana,
Asked if anyone else had lost their Virgin Media,
Many had, so I was in a confused megillah…
The computer came back on, I had a self-ponder,
So far behind now, a frustrated old blogger,
Hopes of catching up are less than minuscular,
I had to restart four-tim
es on the computer
,
Resigning in on all the sites, regular,

Then, once again, I lost the power…
I reset the box as a chuntering inveigher!
I hope I didn’t move the wrong relayer,
I exist in almost total disorder…
Now joined by my mental dyspraxia,
No socialisationing, so no clishmaclaver!
Life, to me, is a shyster, racketeer, & fraudster.

Reasons for this undetailed blog

1) I was so far behind with the blogging.
2) I lost the notebook page by tearing it off the pad to do another in a failed effort to save time. I have no reminder notes; I can only use my memory with hints from the photographs the computer allowed me to save.
3) Mind-Mangling-Malcolm, Seizure-Soaked-Sandra, Concentration-Crusher-Konrad.
4) After the third computer cleaning of the day (there were two more), I tried to save some CorelDraw rectangles to a file to save new things to the same name and then changed the name to suit the photo. Great idea, I thought. Three hours later, as I was saving the last one, which was saved, the eleven ones done earlier disappeared!
5). Depression Duncan Dawned.

Bit of blood mixed in the nocturnal bag?

Morning views.

My beloved tree copse. I’d love to have a hobble through it again. But…

Late evening view.

Beef in rich stout gravy. With added chopped red onions. Cooked in the microwave, using the new Heat & Eat vented box. Potato chunks cooked in the Air Fryer. Brown ready-sliced cobs and an expensive Pots & Co. Lemon & Lime Posset.
So naughty, but nice!

Ah, I’ve just found the eighth, a stud on his right boot!

Boy, did I sleep better? Yes, I did? Did you? Oh, yes!
I must stop talking to myself!

This Tuesday, I spent an awful lot of time with one-moment brainwaves like Tweedledee and Tweedledum, interspersed with times of them battling away at each other and having disagreements. Trying to identify what or which was the best option, choice, or course of action that needed responding to in favour of one or the other seemed to conjure up an unrecognised third-party decision-maker option. This made any conclusions or direction-making all but impossible. I just thought I’d mention it.
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

My carer said the urine colour was a five or 6 on the NHS scale card.
Kara later put a new sleeve onto the catheter bag for me.
I decided to treat myself to an early-awakening mug of the superb Thompson’s Punjana tea. (One more is allowed today, Tsk!)
I got Kodak Tim and took these three photographs on the right of the morning view from the kitchenette window.
They had, of course, the usual scattered blotches on each one.

Then off to the wet room.
ruled the Porcelain Throne visit again. I swear the evacuation monster torpedo, freed at great effort and pain, had a worry-making green tinge embedded. After washing, no shave, I realised that I had none of the underarm and man-breast red blotch ointment. I asked Kara later, she is going to order them later for me. 👍
While urging the evacuation to start, I photographed areas that needed my attention for cleaning duties. There were plenty to choose from. The evacuation kick-off resisted all my efforts to get it to move. I even had time to have a go at the crossword.

I got on the computer to start updating the blog.
When Carer Richard arrived, he decided not to put on the diabetic socks because the leg and ankle both looked a lot better. I agreed. He had issued the medication, and off home he went, a tired-looking carer.
As I returned to the computer, the intercom sounded,  reminding me that the Asda order was due today. I’d forgotten all about it coming.  Yes, me, forgetting. Haha!
The deliveryman kindly put the food into carriers and boxes for me. Getting them into the kitchen was more effort-taking and produced some strong, heavy breathing for me, but I soon set about sorting out the foods after a minute’s rest. I made a cock-up with ordering the large pie, I didn’t realise it was frozen, and there was not room in the freezer to store it. I double-wrapped it and got it into the big waste bag. Putting the things away in the fridge, even I was surprised at how many items I found that were out of date. So many, that a few dates that I could not read even with the magnifying glass, I added them all to the big waste bag. It freed up a little room, but the freezer took the frozen potatoes, not the slightest chance of making any room for the pie. Tsk! For the red spring onions, I have one for Vegan Carer Kara to try. One for me to try. I liked them! The Dutch tomatoes were tasty, too!
I topped up the Carer’s & Nurse’s liquid treats shelves.

Several of then got a grip of me. Whether these were ‘s, or maybe , I don’t know. In fact, the next four hours or so are blanks. Other than I know that called, that’s all of this period I remember. I know she checked the catheter and phoned someone or made two medical-related calls, and I remembered to give her some thanks treats and the red onions. Other scattered bits are undecipherable.

I know I made a meal and photographed it. (In the morning, I  realised I’d left the SD card in the camera!) I’m certain I got my head down early. In the morning, I recalled a bit of the dream. That was for the second day on the trot, I think. It was a truly weird one from days gone by. I’ll dwell on that further in Wednesday’s blog.

Confusionabalitis was in constant attention today.
The headache I’ve had since my last is finally getting easier, annoyingly slowly, though.
The times that I lost the plot, even of what I was thinking at the time, let alone doing. But not early in the day. I coped easily with creating the ode? I enjoyed doing it despite the regular errors, which I hope I found and corrected.
I am aware that I’m struggling more and more, and I expect to. Yet even with the seizures and mind blanks, there were periods of such clarity – fair enough, they didn’t last long. I felt almost another person, or at least a younger me at times… again. I think they lasted between a moment or two up to half an hour or so. each time I had to communicate with a Carer, and a few times when I was doing the talking (usually moaning about some ailment or other, Hehe!), I completely lost what I was saying or going to say. Yet, in the Comment Section on WordPress, I seem to get inspired. Is that the word to use? My concentration and interest peaks. No sooner than leaving the page, the bafflement returns.
If, by some miracle, a medically mentally trained person should read this moaning tripe and can explain why this is happening to me, PLEASE let me know. I fank You!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

05:15hrs: I stumbled out of the bed, which I couldn’t recall getting into, and was on the bottom of the fall bar. I laughed it off.

I wobbled off to the Porcelain Throne. It was an odd evacuation. As were the following five other visits throughout the day. I’ll not mention them again. I released and emptied the , and the Memory-Blanks started. They didn’t stop. I think came first. This is when I began to lose what I was talking about.

I made the three waste bin bags into one large one and placed it near the front door. (Well, I don’t have a back door, Hehehe!)
The Porcelain Throne visit #2 was made. It was in the same mode as the earlier one. I had a wash and got the medicationalisational needs tended to.
The ankles and legs looked even better this morning. I wish I could say the same for Chloe and Carole Cartilages. The swelling behind was a little delicate when I lifted the leg or genuflected that knee.
Which, of course, had to be done when getting the mature, expensive nappies on. I mean, Protection Pants on. Haha!
The food order arrived.
I got the nosh stored away in various places.
No shortage of feed now. Cornish Pastie, Lamb & Beef patties. Turkish beef, potato rostis, potato hash browns, Vegetarian sausages, Surimi chunks, whole milk, spring water, medical plasters (I shan’t be eating these!), cans for treats, and a few pots of baking powder. Oh, and pork pies.
Carer Shaquille returned as I got on the computer. It was better late than never.

Looking a little bleak out there.
The blotches were back again today on Kodak Tim. Tsk!
As the afternoon went on, the Mind-Blanks increased.
I struggled with blogging all afternoon.
Lost words, misspellings and grammar errors. (Picked up by Grammarly).
I took a few breaks and shots of the view from the kitchenette window through the afternoon.
We had none of the forecasted storms. There were just a few spots of rain when it threatened to storm, though. But it didn’t last very long, just for a couple of minutes.
After the teatime Carer Christopher call, I concentrated on preparing and presenting the meal. Hask browns are mini pork pies halved and blotched with tomato ketchup. There are some very lovely small vines of UK tomatoes. A large pot of orange jelly will follow!

I was still looking. Haha!

I Kodak Tim’d a final horizon shot of the ribbon of unique colours on view from the kitchen.
Can you see the bird, fish or lake in this picture?

Both men appeared at Nottingham Crown Court for sentencing on Wednesday (15 May 2024). Mossman was jailed for three and a half years and McKenna for three years. That poor man could have died! I’d have given them life on bread & water for nourishment. No visitors. In solitary, if they dirty the cell, it stays that way. A bucket between them for excrement use. No medical treatment. Just my view, of course.

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
It’s been another day of confusion, I’m afraid. It all started when I woke up around 05:00 hrs. The only way I can explain how I got out of bed is that I fell out of it! Well, no, I got out and watched the nocturnal catheter bag did not slip down and give Little Inchy’s Fungal lesion a painful tug. I put my right food on the ground, and as gave way,  then a series of  kicked off! A combination that guaranteed . As I thundered downwards, I hit my lip and nose on the table, I think. But, at least I was in the perfect place to haul my overweight body back up onto the bed. Finding a cut lip, bleeding nose, and Little Inchy bleeding from the tube during the kerfuffle. So, I got the Catheter emptied and decided to medicate things and do my ablutions. No outright winner twit Trotsky and Constipation Conrad, TT had an advantage over Love-15. Hehe!
After cleaning up, I medicated first. It took some effort to stop the bleeding on the lip, and the nose still trickled a smidgeon. Then, I tended to clean up Little Inchy, painful!
Washed myself all over, well, where I could reach. Barrier creamed the stomach and around Little Inchy. Then Germoloided the sore Haemorrhoids of Harold. Germolened the lip and set about shaving, being careful not to catch the cut on the lip with the razor, successfully. But did cut my earhole a bit. As I made up and took the waste bags to the doorway, I began to feel Dizzy Dennis coming on. He’d not bothered me for months now. It could have been brought on by the wake-up fall earlier, I suppose. Dizzy Dennis was in good form. I really thought I was going to go over it again, several times over the day. But Cartilages Chloe and Carole were good to me. A sudden bout of stomach-churning and rumbling sent me back to the . This time, it was  in full control.
The lip had started bleeding again, so I cleaned it and put some antiseptic disinfectant on the top lip. This is when I noticed the Red Eye was a lot worse today, or rather, the white part of the eye was no longer white.
Carer Christopher took this picture of it when he came later. He also sent me some pictures on his mobile phone and emailed them to me.
I think the lad took them from the balcony, but do not know when he did so.
The top one was taken from the first building, Winchester Court. Cause it shows the traffic island near the bus stop.
The other two were shot on different days; they were from the balcony, I think.
Jolly decent of him!
He knows I’m struggling with my camera with the blotches that so annoy me.

Back on the timeline. I took this as I booted up the computer to update yesterday’s blog. It didn’t take long for more hassle to heave into reality and jolly-well pickle me off.

WordPress was still loading differently than the chosen graphics, which I knew nothing about until the end when I did a preview! I suspect it was me that had done something wrong, but WordPress would not let me delete them!
I had to go back to CorelDraw and save it as a different name, then reload it into WordPress while the wrong picture was selected. I found out by trial & error.
As I said, it was likely my error! Then…
All the CorelDraw icons suddenly went to large ones again. I only had the middle strip available to see the page to work on.
Pissed off, I was called to the Throne a third time! Took me ages to clean up afterwards. I found that the lip had been bleeding again. This time, I cleaned it up and put some Germolene on it this time. That should do it.
When I got back to the computer, the icons were back to the minuscule ones. There is no option for a ‘medium size’, normal, or large only, and believe me, they are tiny or massive. With my eyes, it is difficult and time-consuming.
Then…   On MS Word to create the ode, I got baffled by all the Need to reset MS Word messages. More time was lost trying to understand what various terms meant on the options offered. I gave up, I had to click a ‘Remind Me Later’ button to get it to go off of the screen. They’ll be back. Grrr!

I got the meal thought over, planned, and partly prepared at a ridiculously early hour. I can’t remember when mid-afternoon, I think.
A can of minced beef, some Mediterranean chunky tomato sauce, a packet of black bean sauce, and a drop of Mushroom Ketchup went into the saucepan with a can of garden peas and got well stirred up. I even thought I might have some chips with it. It’s been there on the stove and stirred a few more for nine hours now.
This blog is taking so long because of all the time lost with the MS Word, CorelDraw, and WordPress farcicalness. That’s not the right word, but I’m getting fed up with moaning.

The blotches were covered by the colouration in this teatime shot of the wonderful sky with beautiful, eerie clouds, I was almost talking to them.
Well, well well, a record for this year to date, it was back to the Porcelain Throne yet again.
This time, it was almost a total reversal. Ruled by Trotsky Terence. So much so that I had a go at the crossword book while sitting there, wondering if the partly protruding concert and metal Torpedo was ever going to get any further on its escape plan! More blogging time is lost.
It is nearly midnight now. I’ll have to play catch-up in the morning and get the meal done and eaten. Since I don’t have chips, I’ll have a couple of baguettes to soak up the fodder.
Back in the morning. Well, I hope to be.

Now, I can’t get into comments on WordPress! Curse!
Now, the reader page is not working. Just showing everything, not what I want. Pissed-off!
What going on?
Can anyone please advise me?

Despite today’s frustrating, annoying, problem-filled day, the literal agony of the poor, tugged-away-at-by-the-catheter tube, gunge, and blood extruding poor Little Inchie, I enjoyed the meal of the day so much.
I soon got it all inside my wobbly, overweight tummy.
Got the pots washed.
And took this snap of the wonderful view on offer through the kitchenette window. Another slightly eerie-looking one.

How did you do?

I spent so long trying and failing to get CorelDraw set up how I wanted it to be. I spent 11 hours between interruptions, Throne Visits, Mind-Blanks, and a Seizure, stopping the blood flowing from Little Inchie and nearly two hours getting the ablutions done & sorting out the Catheter Pouch. Little else got done. Carer Joanne saved the day when the Liberty-Global  Virgin fibre TV stopped working. I put it on early in the day to watch the news, but a flashing red light on the TV and a blank light on the box told me something was wrong, but of course, I hadn’t the vaguest idea what was causing it. I still don’t, but saviour Joanne got it going again. What a gal!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Well, darker this morning!

Jolly unpleasant, but no bleeding.

Ankle ulcer flaring up a smidge.

The hand burn has now lost all its scabs. No pain at all.
The ablutioning took me close to two hours – and that was without shaving! Getting medicated took a lot longer than usual. The barrier creaming had a farcical element to it. I couldn’t get the cap off of the tube, and I spent an unusually long time trying to. I dried my hands and tried again. That didn’t work, so I got a resin flannel for a better grip and tried again. That didn’t work. So, I got the dangerous job of getting the fresh Protection Pants on and will try the Barrier Cream cap-removing again later. How to describe the performance of getting these pants on is an opportunity for a little humour, I think. The picture that might help you glean the situation is that of a two-legged, wobbly, overweight elephant with arthritis and cartilage pains in both legs. Neither knee wanted to lift or bend painlessly, trying to get into the pants. At one stage, lifting the right leg to get it in the PPs, and I had a bad-timed involuntary kick-off. I then  and tore the Protection Pants as I wobbled about, trying to keep my balance. Which, luckily, I did. During this altercation, I also knocked the pot with the Barrier, Germoloid and Daktacort creams in it onto the floor. With the aid of a small plastic picker-upperer, I got the torn PPs off and started the procedure again with new ones. Apart from being painful, all went reasonably well.
I Phorpain gelled the knees.
Got the catheter refitted, just the pouch to go on when the Carer arrives. Then, I returned to the infamous Barrier Cream’s unmovable cap problem. And Blow me down with a feather duster, the tube’s cap opened easily! So, in future, should the same thing happen, I’ll just try dancing about, stubbing my toe, and throwing the Barrier Cream tube on the floor to solve the issue? Hahaha! I felt like getting back into bed!

I took a shot of the morning view. It was well-lit by the time I got out of the wet room. There is a blotch on the photo again. I can’t understand why these appear at times and not at others. Mind you, it’s not surprising; there is an awful lot I don’t understand or grasp nowadays. Anything new after the Stroke is not retainable in the grey cells-well, anywhere, really.
The nose marks from the spectacles were prominent this morning.
, or began as soon as I started trying to sort out the new CorelDraw layout and options. My memory has lost so many things today, yet the early morning mayhem in the wet room came to me distinctly? I do know that the New version crashed twice yesterday after I’d changed some options. And I’ve lost many fonts that the program has substituted with ones that are nothing like the original ones? A bit like ordering food online, which I have to do. I’ve had some amazing substitutions. The best (or worst) was from J Sainsbury. I’d ordered some cherryade. That was substituted with a tin of Cherry Blossom black shoe polish! A close second was From Asda. I’d ordered frozen lamb & mutton burgers and got a bag of frozen chips in place for them! I thought I’d turn the TV on for the news. (Details under the date above)
Carer Chris came to raid the nibbles and drink treats. Haha!
He reminded me about the Vitamin B12, and got the diabetic socks fitted for me. He also took the laundry down for me with him as he left.
The problem with the fonts was discovered. I’ve been bold enough yet to try risking changing them again, as last time I did, CorelDraw froze on me. What to do?
A few shots of the sky were taken. I think I’ve got them in order of their taking. Not much else is pictured, as KI was constantly working on changing the CorelDraw options all day and didn’t get around to this blog until Sunday.

These two must have been the first Kodak Tim snaps taken. Early in the day they must have been photographed, I assume so anyway.
I think there were a lot of distant contrails in these two pictures. I had to zoom in on CorelDraw to see them. Cataract Katie and Glaucoma Gladys, are why.

My much-missed walking through everyday tree copse.
I can still recall the aroma as I walked through it. Nowadays, I can’t even walk up the gravel path. A sadness lingers over this. You wouldn’t believe the pleasure I got walking through the copse. The insects, birds, squirrels, rats and I’d stop for a chinwag to each one every morning. Took the one on the right, and remember taking these two. The end car park area. I wonder how long it will be until the trees cover it completely?
Massive Memory Blanks.
Until I went to make a snack, I didn’t feel the need for a proper meal. This could have something to do with my eating loads of sugar snap peas, I think. I can’t resist the tasty little crisps, but not hard things. I intend to stop eating them when these ones I’ve got are finished; I’m determined to, definitely!

So I had a quick-to-prepare, unhealthy, naughty, but very small, mini-feast of flavour.
A delightful dollop of tastiness and a little guilt with it.
I’m eating some flavoured potato chips from a packet, along with a full packet of the indulgent, irresistible DJ&A Snap Pea crisps and roasted peas. I also ate a tiny pot of mandarins in orange jelly. Oh, and a vegan cheese and onion pasty. Slurp, licklickingly good! But the guilt tinged it a bit.

Erm? What’s with the top corner bit top circle?

I got my head down after filling the Carers pockets with nibbles. Wanting to stay awake to take photos of tonight’s anticipated Aurora Borealis Storm. But it didn’t work out… Zzz!

Someone sent me this photo of it though, via email.
