Worran ‘orrible night’s sleep!
, , and ensured a miserable nocturnal nightmare of ever-waking-up. Muttering, swearing, cursing and fighting to get back to kip. I’m feeling fedder-upperer than I’ve been for a long time.

I must ask a Carer to call the dentist to see if they can see me.
has been worse than ever today. Hope I can get in the dentist.
My concentration is non-existent. The agony is doing me no good at all. Even the tooth-pain-killer spray is not easing the teggies in the slightest. I’ve taken extra Codeines, Ibuprofen dissolvable in the bladder water drinks, and been eating Paracetamols as if they were podded peas. Not much in today’s blog, apart from moans and gripes.
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

At least the nocturnal wee-wee was a better colour.

The new Kodak.

I took these shots out of the kitchenette window with the cheapo backup camera, not the Kodak.
It captures the varying colour shades of the rising sun behind the building to my left. It’s not too bad at all.

Then the need for a visit to the was called for, so I went.
One final shot of the sky was taken. There were not many clouds yet; there were no more at midday. What does that indicate, I wonder? I poddled to the wet room.
No pain in evacuating this time.
But the stink was beyond the putrid classification. Phoaw!
Cleaning things up afterwards was a task and a half.
I think I had a while in there. I do not recall finishing up the cleaning and was back on the computer when I realised this. I grabbed a hold of , (I could not find and raced, well, hobbled back to the wet room to check if I’d left the taps running. I had not, and I’d cleaned the faucets!

I worked on CorelDraw and updated yesterday’s blog. I sent it off. It took me about three and a half hours.
I went to see if the skies were worth photographing and found that  had been left in the kitchen.

arrived. was then joined by , in a two-pronged attack while Precious was still here putting my diabetic socks on. The lad showed some concern. Then, as he was putting the other sock on, a kicked off, and I nearly hit him. Then,  sent a cracking bolt up my leg that went beyond my kneecap.
I gritted my teeth with the pain and instantly forgot all about the same pain… I’d crunched one of the bad front teeth against a lower one. Boy, well, Arghhh!
Precious then issued the medications, and I gave him a cold drink from the fridge and his choice of a nibble.

Within minutes of his leaving, I had another blank that must have lasted for a while, but I had not worked on this blog during that time. I may have done some CorelDrawing, or I could just be getting things all mixed up again. Carried on giving me some stick, and foolishly, I sprayed on another dose of the toothache painkiller. It’s losing its effectiveness now. Then, a second Caregiver arrived, but I can’t recall her name. She was in and out quickly because there was nothing for her to do, apart from taking a choice of drink with her as she left. Hehe!

Now, I concentrated as best I could on starting this blog for an hour or two. Then, I topped up the Nurses & Carers’ nibble table stock.

I tried to make up some Cartoons as I only had two days’ worth ready. It was hard work with the toothache and electric shocks, and the earache was gaining power. I’m fed up!

I took this shot from the kitchen window. Cloudlessness?

I went to make a microwave-ready soft-to-eat meal. Minutes later, these on the right were five minutes apart. The sky had a few clouds up there now.

Carer Israel called next.
I got the lad to take off the diabetic socks for me. I lost the plot a bit as he was on his mobile for a long time, but know that I did tell him of the tooth and earache and had a decently powered shock from & the ankle ulcer while he was here. I told him to take some nibbles and a drinkie on his way out.
I had a ready-made shepherd’s pie. The vegan sausages I added were too firm and painful to eat. They pissed off   too much. But I managed all the rest; the soft sliced milk roll bread and lemon & lime yoghourt were delicious.

I went to wash the pots, etc. and caught the sunset again. I snapped the first effort. Then, I proceeded to reach to close the window against the radiator. Swore, then swore some more.
I took the second shot with the sun now gone to bed.

I decided to watch something on TV. I drifted off into a deep sleep for about ten minutes, and then the TV woke me up, and I swore a little more.
Then the door chime chimed (they do that, I’ve noticed, Hehe!), and in came Carer Richard. Of course, I bored him with my tales of the last few days’ toothache, earache, and electric shocks. Following up after he gave me the medications, I opened a bottle of spring water and added some effervescent Ibuprofen painkiller to it. Well, another
The fizz shot up so fast that it drenched my nightshirt, protection pants and right leg before landing on the carpet!
I took off the gown and limped to the wet room. I removed the PPs, put them in the bin, and struggled to add a fresh pair. I bent a fingernail backwards, and it split, causing the new PPs to tear. Bending down to get them off again, I gave way as I was getting yet another pair on. Naturally, of course, the PPs kept me company.
When I returned to the main room, Richard asked what had happened. He had heard my language and cursing. It was good of him to wait to see if I was okay. A drinkie was chosen, and nibbles were offered.
I was not in a good frame of mind now!
I got back on the computer to write down the farcicalness that had taken place before I forgot it.

WEDNESDAY 7th AUGUST 2024

THE COMPUTER IS IN NEED OF FIRST AID.
At minimum, a corrective operation.
Maybe it’s due for a cremation.
BSOD Blue screen of death often comes on,
This helps the rhyming motion,
Lost files, at least a hundred and one.
They disappeared, they have gone…
Carer Kara is to telephone…
For computer doctor to pop along,
But no time to today. My fears are at Defcon!
Four times today, it’s frozen…
I worry, expecting the computer’s extinction.
I can’t get help or information…
I feel I’m existing in isolation.
Sinking into depression and frustration!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
I turned off the computer on the fifth BSOD. I tried every trick I knew to find out what the problem was, but I failed. I think the messages telling me the computer is low on free memory are indicative and possibly the art of the issue.
Tried again but nothing after the intro would move.
On the third try, I got to add this to the blog.
I hope it works for posting in the morning.
I dare not use up any more memory.

I missed the sun & cloud?
Gorrit, this time.
I used the ready-made mini pot of gravy for the meal. It saved a lot of time in preparing real gravy. Shake the pot rigorously, then microwave for one minute, wait 30 seconds and heat for another minute. What could be easier?
I’ll tell yer… making proper gravy! It took me that long to clean the splattered inside of the microwave; it would have been better to have made it from scratch! Hehehe!
Still, it tasted fine.

04:00hrs: I woke reluctantly, stirred back into imitation, pretended life, passed wind, and got an electric shock up my leg from the ankle ulcer via, checked on the time, and swiftly fell back to sleep again. Nice move!
I removed the nocturnal pouch from the catheter contraption. In doing so, I tugged at the tube. I’d like to say I did not shout out in pain, causing the bleeding to pour out all over the PPs, down my leg and all over the new nightshirt.
But if I did, I’d be fibbing.
I went off to the wet room, convinced I was going to have an evacuation this time. Fair enough, there were no rumbling and grumblings, but I did feel movement from the innards. I was wrong, of course.
I did some hoovering—I need to do it every day. Bits of foil from the tablets and mystery bits of what look like giant tea leaves magically appear. Haha!
As I went to the kitchen, I took a shot of the morning view. Then, I spotted a red light on one of the streets. So I zoomed Kodak 2 into it and took this effort on the left. I cleaned and nearly almost tidied up the kitchenette, and the car with its lights on was still there. See the streets in Nottingham, my American friends? Talk about narrow. Pavement parking is the only option for anyone with two cars.

Thanks to Jenny’s tip in getting a baby monitor and Deana and Julie putting it together for me, I heard the intercom chime! Great! Thanks to all three of them again! It was the Asda delivery. Possibly the worst one ever. It’s not the driver’s fault, I think. He packed most of the goods from his trays into boxes and bags for me. Then I got the bags in the hallway and carried them one at a time into the kitchen and junk room.
There didn’t seem many items as I slowly got them put away into the various places as needed.
The fridge didn’t look anywhere near full?
I donned my Sherlock Holmes Cap and went on the internet to find out what was wrong with this order. I soon found out.
Look at the items that were not available on this list from their Email. Five items were unattainable last week, but they went a step further this week.
There were some things missing: 3 Asda thick bleach citrus 750ml, Ben Shaws shandy 1×6, and 4 Asda Bi-carb! I was pretty pissed off at being charged for these.
Then, a genuine rumble from the innards, I limped to the wet room. 30 minutes of crosswording, whistling and counting the cracks on the ceiling (24) again, and no signs of any movement. Plenty of wind, though. Talk about trapped wind, but it kept coming out almost two-tone musically at times. I gave up,
I eventually made a start on yesterday’s blog.

I remember using the new Kodak camera to take these shots of the clouds below.

But so many, a flood of Dizzy Spells and Seizures ravaged me. I’ve no idea who came or didn’t. Yet I found these pictures which at the time amazed me… I’d ordered another food order earlier via Amazon from Morrisons. I need help with these mind blanks. I shall see if Kara can get me a lift to the Doctor’s sorted out ASAP, then see if the Dr can see me on that day and time. Or the other way around.

As Carer Cris arrived, I came back to as near to normality as I’d ever get. I think I was responsive; no, I was! And I can recall much of this visit.
But the seizures continued, but it seemed for only a minute or two at a time. Again, during one of them, I took more shots of the amazing clouds, this time with the new Kodak.

Then I had a bit of luck!

More sky shots with the spare old camera.

Last call from Carer Chris. He wanted to get home, bless him.
I gave him some treats. He’s a good lad.
Another fairly long seizure or mind-blank.
I found two more photos taken on the SD card.
I’m afraid I missed getting full pleasure from these shots.

Better get this on before I risk making a midnight feast.

Hope to be back in the morning… Hehe, it is morning now.
Back later, he says confidently.
I’m back…
I consumed a hell of a lot of bothers and bleeding to make a meal… Tsk!

🎶 Goodness Gracious Me! 🎶
Now I’ve invented orange pee!
Hehehe!

Relief!

After recovering from the monster-inside evacuation, the ablutions went okay, almost to the point of being practically decent! There was just one tiny weeny cut shaving.
However, drying off, I hit my shoulder on the edge of the door. Which set off , so I did a bit of cleaning up with one hand while waiting for her to cease. Then, the always risky job of getting the PPs on.
To my utter amazement, it took me only about four minutes to get them on! At that time, , Cartilages Carol and Chloe didn’t give me any trouble at all! Is this a turning point? Is this going to be a half-decent day? Is luck about to change for the better? As I was finishing of in the wet room, I heard the door chime ring! It was Carer Richard arriving. He sorted this morning’s medications and checked the stocks in the medical drawer for me. I insisted he took a cold drink and some nibbles in appreciation.

Then, the silly thoughts I had earlier about my luck changing for the better were discarded. As kicked of, the shocks we not overly frequent but were far more energetic for today. As for the  I’ve never had so many in a single day before. It’s a blessing that they were for a very short time (up to now, anyway 18:00hrs).

I got the Sunday updating of the blog done pretty sharpish. When the second Carers Joanne and Fauziyya arrived, I was just out of a short mind-blank. And pretty sharp-minded.
I had them laughing with my funny tales. I love getting laughs from folks. I found that Fauziyya could see and read the instructions on the tooth painkiller spray. No one else could read it, even using the spyglass. Amazing vision!

Thinking about how well I had done on blogging up to now, I got myself entangled in trying to get all the Notebook files in one place. It takes me ages to get to different places, and I find it hard to recall which file is which. I have taken very few photos up to now. So I took some while it was light. I went into the balcony. I cut my finger opening the window and took this shot showing the backs of some of the houses in view.
Next, I was to the left and high up, capturing the horison in the photo. Over again, the clouds looked as they have for the last two days, shape, thickness and colour-wise. These beautiful yellow flowers deserved a good picturing. The brass looked like it needed some rain to revive.

I drifted off for about an hour, but when I returned to awareness, I found I’d been busy. I moved some things out of one cupboard into another, started to wash some saucepans, and stopped partway through the job. Luckily, I’d not left the tap running. When I got back to the commuter after putting things back and cleaning, I found this photo on a current CorelDraw page.
I’d written against it, it had been grouped and made a bitmap. I think now, I may have been ‘out-of-it’ for longer than I first thought. I recognised the van, and am sure I took the photo, but, maybe not after all. Why I took it, and put the wring on it, I’ve no idea. I think it was a shot I’d taken to support a story I had started last year sometime. But I just can’t find the funny story to go with it. Mixing all the files and folders up, then making a mess of reordering them, is costing me now in time and sheer frustration at my stupidity. Still, one has to do what one does best, don’t they. Hehe!

Off to the kitchenette see what I have later for nosh. I opted for Lamburgers on Milk Roll bread and some BBQ beans.
As I was taking some more photos, Carer Christopher and his trainee arrived. The photo of the meal seems to have gone off into the ether? Is this going to happen with all my future cameras? No, I think it must be my error or cock-up somewhere. Tsk!

Letter about a new ailment they think I’ve added to the list of them; it is called Paroxysmal Disorder. The explanation…

Paroxysmal disorders are conditions that can occur suddenly and unpredictably and can include dizziness, swaying, and seizures. They got that right; that’s exactly what’s happening to me now!
These disorders can lead to falls and injuries, and treatment depends on the specific condition. Some treatments include:
Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) This common inner ear disorder causes a sudden feeling of spinning or swaying and can also cause nausea and vomiting. It occurs when calcium crystals in the ear move to the wrong place, causing the inner ear to signal to the brain that movement is occurring when it’s not. A doctor can guide a series of head movements to help put the crystals back in place. BPPV can also subside over time, but early treatment is important to prevent falls and injuries.
Epileptic seizures (NES) These paroxysmal events mimic epileptic seizures but don’t include irregular neuronal discharges. Other symptoms include shaking, loss of consciousness, and bladder control.

But will they do anything about it? I’m having nothing done to address my Peripheral Neuropathy they diagnosed many years ago. I was just told that they can do nothing to mend dying neurotransmitters (Nerve ends).
Then I had the stroke; one of the tablets I’m on now was prescribed to thin the blood, and Beta-blockers and Warfarin after the heart operation. But I’ll not go on about it; I’m more concerned with , and at the moment… no, I take that back.
I’ve just had give one up the right leg from the ankle. My computer screenwriting and icons all have a shadow of themselves. I’ll give up and try to catch up later.

I’m back, and, with a changed priority over which to worry about. . The already-dried blood from earlier leaks was pulled off as the tube moved as I stood up.
Frustrated and harassed, I decided to have my third mug of Glengettie tea of the day. I know I’m only allowed two, but sod it, I’m fed up with back teeth. (And there are only one and a half of them left in there, Hahaha!)
This gave me a chance to take some shots of the night’s wonderful scenes.
On this one, I can see the head of a snake-like beast, its eyes, snout, chin, and fangs coming from the top left?

The second one is even more revealing, with a fantastic optical illusion. The snake-like head changes into an arm and hand, then back to a hen’s face! Can you see it? Each time you look away and then view it again, it seems to change.

Or is that just me?

Well, I got one within 10 seconds. Ahem!

It is now 10:00hrs on Sunday. Just about to start updating this blog from here. No ankle shocks as yet. But Cartilage Carole is still inflamed from the tumble. Sparse details on the notepad.
Is this blog in a Whoopsiedangleplop-Noi mode? Hehe!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
Gotten Himmel!

Struggled out of the bed, and tidied it up a bit.

Cleaning up took ages!
The ankles looked so much better.

The first-morning shot of the day.

The computer is on. I made a start on this blog, but not much. arrived with . The nibbles were attacked with some relish, and Chris took his drinkie treat. As they left, unobligingly kicked off.

.
I espied that the drizzle was falling, and went in the balcony to take this shot through the glass. The rain stopped within about ten minutes, not to be seen again.

They kept visiting me for varying amounts of time, ranging from a few seconds to ten minutes or so. I’m fed up with these!

kicked in. I needed some pain relief. I doused the mouth and teeth with the Pain-relief-Spray several times throughout the day. Probably a little too often. I also added a 20g Nurofen Meltlet to each bottle of the spring water that I have to drink each day to keep the urine flowing onto the catheter. I’m fed up with this, too!

The Memory Blanks kept coming. remained a permanent, perpetually pestering, penalising, paralysing, spirit-pulverising, problematising, sanity-purging, perduring, pillorying, and punishing persistent all-day partner that I could well have done without!
I’m well pissed of with him, too!

was in the right mood with me. So, I added one dissolvable tablet into two of the spring water bottles, which I have to drink each day to encourage the damaged bladder to pass the urine pouch on my leg to ease the pain. I’m really, really pissed off with this!

The hazy morning tempted me to try the new Kodak camera to take a couple of shots from the kitchenette windows.
I don’t think the first one of the houses came out too well. It was a little blurry, but the whole scene to the keys was a smidge hazy, as was the sky. But it was gorgeous to me.

Inchy got them, but not within the 10 seconds.

From this point, the seizures came on rapidly. I recall coming in with new. I feel we had a discussion and laughed about things, but I am not certain of what it was about. I can recall getting my words mixed up and forgetting the words needed. Finally, I finished the Friday blog and posted it to WordPress.

What happened the following two hours is anyone’s guess.

and new , arrived.
It was confusing, too. All the usual signs of a seizure; hard to find words, I was, I think, rabbiting on, verbose.  I fear I may not have been understandable to them or them to me.

I think I fell asleep. When I woke up, I took these shots of the sunset as it disappeared over the horizon.

Started to prep a meal that was easy on the teeth to eat.
Taking these shots a little later while in the kitchen.

I sprayed some of the pain relief on my teeth, then carefully, slowly, almost delicately, ate the snack. Nice!

I went into the kitchen to wash the tray and cutlery and…

I had a stroke of bad luck – (As if I needed to say that!)
gave way, and at the exact same time, I got a high-voltage shock from the right ankle via  . Resulting in my going down on one knee and hitting my head en route to the floor. The waking stick fell first, and the knee on top of it!
It all happened in a split second, and by the time I’d recovered enough to try to get back up again, I noticed I’d left the hot water tap running. How did I know this? The flood-water alarm went off! I had to rush getting up to reply to the alarm box voice, wanting to know what had happened and if I needed help!
I got near enough so they could hear my cringing apology and tell them everything was okay. Thank you.
By now, the pains had increased from , , , and the lump on my head. (I’ve no idea what I hit with it, but the radiator is the most likely suspect, I think) And , joined in with taking overall control of the situation!
A bit dodgy in my balance, I made my way to the computer chair and settled for a few minutes. I’m not sure if it was a signing in again or signing out sign, but send me what I hoped would be a final electric shock up the leg that reached up as far as my kneecap!
Feeling mildly out-of-sorts, I just sat quietly for a while. Which proved to be ten seconds. Hehe! As and new , and came in
After Chris stopped laughing at the slight scratch on my head, he took a photo of it.
As to be expected, I cannot recall the whole visit, but think we had a natter about something. I can remember Chris taking a can of plonk and some nibbles as they shot off home. No offer of diabetic socks being put on or a night pouch was attached. That is not blame offering; most likely, in the state I was in, I did not ask them to do so, either.
In the morning, I found these late-night shots taken obviously through the kitchen windows. It seems I got the wobbles on while taking the first one, and I probably realised it and took the second one. This is all supposition, of course.
I can’t recall when, or taking them at all.

More seizures today.
eBay delivery for Thursday is still on the way, they say.
The worst cartilage was Chloe by a long way.
I dropped the camera trying to take a selfie,
The urine in the pouch is looking bloody,
I struggle for words, speaking with inarticulacy,
Hard work doing my odeing wordsmithery,
Producing too much Whoopsiedangleploppery,
Wardens Dean and Julie saved the day…
They fitted the baby monitor for me today,
As recommended by lovely Jenny,
This was a rare moment of fortuity,
Now the intercom & fire alarms are heard by me!
HMG Enforcement Team, re a licence for my TV,
They threaten with a £1000 fine, you see…
I anticipate they’ll treat me frumpishly,
And not offer me any gigmanity,
Life is just an assortment of gallimaufry!

eBay informed me that the order is being delivered by last Thursday. The tracker point has not moved since Tuesday. They sent me an Email to give my response to the product and rate it. I replied simply, Camera Not Arrived Yet.

The lost listings on the computer have returned, but they are scattered about in different files, and I’m lost now where anything is. Thank You, MS.

There were a few today, but worse than these were the Mind-Blanks and Seizures. There were so many of them, all short-term. I had one when Carer Maryham was here again, but I was not aware until she told me.

Then, when the new child monitors were delivered, please make a note of that, eBay aficionados. DELIVERED at the time specified, not leaving me still waiting in vain hope and unaware of when or if they will even get here at all! Grumph!

I struggle to read the instructions, even with the new glasses on my head. And Peripheral Neuropathy Pete was not letting me grip the parts I had to open. I rang , to tell her about the arrival, and she and Desk-Top Dancing Warden Julie. came up to see me. That was so nice of them. ♥
The two of them soon got the thing working for me. ♥
They did it in no time. Julie put the sender part on the top of the intercom box when they realised I was having difficulty hearing the intercom ring, as well as the fire alarms and the door chime. Deana even tested the intercom when they went to see if I could hear it from the computer. It was just Grreat!

Late shots were taken over an hour or so.

I prepped and served up the meal.
Carers Christopher and Trainee Promise
arrived as I was getting the plate on the tray. Apart from , I enjoyed it, but I had to eat it carefully. Haha!

From after they had gone, and including their raiding the nibbles on their next call, the next thing I recall is being in bed, getting electrocuted regularly by .

FRIDAY 9TH AUGUST 2024
After many false starts, lack of interest, and repeatedly nodding off again, I felt the motion in the innards. Rumbling with the odd, almost sloshing sensation at times that threatened the return of Trotsky Terence’s return. But not yet of an urgent nature, more a pre-warning, methinks.
As I was taking this snap of the removed from the catheter nocturnal pouch and saw the terribly deep colour, the need for the Porcelain Throne became more intense. In my haste to ensure I got to the WC on time, I  had a couple of Accifauxpas en route.  The first was my treading on the electricity cable and catching my ingrowing toenail on it; a quick curse worse was let out, then I dropped the walking stick, and finally (I thought), I shoulder charged the door edge as I clambered in my haste to get into the wet room. No messing, I lifted the gown, downed the protection pants and got seated on the plastic WC lid!
The motion of the evacuation was much slower than I’d anticipated; however, there was no boredom, counting cracks in the ceiling or crosswording this morning.
After a night without, as far as I recall, any electric shocks up the leg from the ankle lesion, the moment I tried to urge the motion to start sent a couple of disorientating streaks of lighting up the leg. I’ve never suffered two in a row before. She carried on throughout the day, giving me the odd one now and then, but no more doubles. That double was really painful!
Then, the motion splurted out. was back in full control, no doubt about it. However, the Kharki colour that he had favoured for a fortnight now was again on show. It was straw-like in appearance. I checked the time and decided I could get the ablutions done before a Carer was due. So I did…
ABLUTIONALISATIONINGS
Teeth cleaning and shaving are the first jobs. Careful as I was, the gums bled. Just two little nicks shaving, But at one stage, I had give me another single-strike visit. This caused  , to give way.
Luckily, I was rinsing and not shaving at the time.
I was fortunate there.
The Showering Session went well, too. The lower region cleaning was a smidge painful, though, with all the dried blood from Little Inchies Fungal Lesion and the tugging of the Catheter tube. Next, to the various medicating duties. I olive-oiled the earholes. Then Phorpain gelled Cartilages Carole and Chloe. Then Arthur Itis’s patella to the front of both legs. Got Acne on the head and eczema on the belly and chest creamed. Red Rash ointment under the man-breasts and down bellow. I can’t reach to get the ingrowing toenails done or get my Diabetic socks on; I’ll ask the Carer later. Sprayed over the toothache. Nasal sprayed the nostrils.
I’m always left with the feeling that I’ve missed something after abluting, and the medicationings are done, or not done.

On to the blogging.
Took this snap from the computer desk through the balcony,
Well, this may sound ridiculous, but it is, I suppose. But it was as if I’d blinked, and four hours had disappeared.
I found that I’d finished yesterday’s blog and posted it of, and was currently working updating on today’s old ode.
Realising this, I checked the other rooms for taps or anything left on. The oven had been put on, but it was on low heat. Has it been like that all night and day? I don’t think so; the top of the cooker was not that hot, so I assume I did it not long ago.
Then, I had to check to see if I’d made any errors on Thursday’s blog. Yet I felt alright in myself. Apart from the usual confusion about what else I’d been up to.

Carer Jonee arrived. She’s an upbeat, straight-as-it-is kind of gal. I like her. I’ll not mention that she has similar problems to me, but she understands things that others don’t or can’t. Bless her. I carried on with starting this blog.

BEAUTIFUL CLOUDS
Photo Number One: I see a face/head of a beast and one of a human.
Photo 2: I see a cupid, two distinct faces; one is human, the other might be.
Three faces and bodies of a weasel-like nature.
Photo 3: An angel of sorts. A cat’s face in the right cloud. Maybe the outline of a pig is in this one
. I looked once and saw it, searched for more, and can’t find it! Photo 4. A face with an elongated head. Left, a partial face. All the pictures remind me of icebergs.

I was about to make up some more cartoons, and…CALAMITY!
CorelDraw stopped responding altogether!
I could not close anything or open anything!
No response to the keyboard on anything at all!
The Task Manager thingamagig came up.
All beyond me and depression dawned.
I considered crying after my initial swearing.
So, I left it for an hour, then turned everything off.
It let me close the computer, well no… I clicked
on Restart. When it came back on, CorelDraw loaded and worked? But not saving the work I’d done meant a lot of
lost time before it loaded the working screen. But it did!
I reopened Word, which had the Ode partly done on it,
that was auto-saved for me,
My concerns were quadriad,
Enough I have nearly had,
I feel a bit of a dingwad,
Dad would say, Young-fellow-Milad…
Life’s not all good, there’ll be bad,
Earn your wages, pay your way…
Be prepared to die one day,
Cause no sod cares, do they?
Some of the things that he did say!
Hahaha! Thanks, Dad!

The Iceland Man Cameth.
Popped the bags in the doorway for me.
I took them one at a time into the kitchen.
Topped up with drinkies to keep the bladder and catheter happy.
And some treats for myself.

arrived.
Sniffing at the bag with Joanne’s treats in for offering to wash my nightshirt thingies for me. After explaining that the cotton they are made of should not go in the tumble dryer, that’s why they have shrunk so much. And I was thinking I was piling on the weight. Hehehe! Chris sorted the medications, and will be doing the last call of the day later. So, I must now get something to eat before he arrives, or maybe leave it until after he’s been & gone. Decisions, decisions… not my scene at all nowadays!
No, no, I’ll make it afterwards because I still have to read the WP Reader. I’ll go on the reader now.
Some great blogs on tonight.

Turning off now, the need for food, you know. Hehe!

I bought some vegetarian sausages and some chips (fries) today. They were pale-looking and unattractive to me at first, but with salt and vinegar added, they were decent enough and not too hard on the teeth. I also bought a few potato waffles and halved tomatoes. Two wholemeal rolls and a pot of mandarins in jelly to follow. I gave Carer Chris the other two rolls with his other self-selected nibbles and drinkies.
I took this shot of the sunset from the kitchen window. Then
I did the washing up and eventually worked out how to play back the recorded Heartbeat episodes. I started watching Series 8, number eight and fell asleep. I woke up what I thought was a few minutes later and found I was watching Series 8, episode 15. I couldn’t believe it. I must have changed summat without remembering because, according to the recording, I’d watched 7 one-hour episodes, which meant it should now be about 05:00hrs. But it was 02:00hrs. I’m sorry I wrote this now; I’ve just confused myself more. An easy thing to do, though.

The first shot was taken, and n20-minutes later, I took two of the soon-to-disappear suns.

Then the vegetarian nosh

I had more troubles today. The one thing that really got to me was my inventiveness in clearing out all the unwanted files to save memory on the computer. It is currently at 96.31%. Now, I’ve lost all the WordPress photos, old and new!
Luckily I’d created and put the WordPress intro graphics on CorelDraw for today. I searched the Windows bin, but they were not in there at all! Amidst phone calls from the optician, Dentist, Sister Jane, the two nurses and INR DVT nurse Kristina called to take blood and check the ulcers.

Then Warden Dean phoned to clarify the situation with the Nottingham City Homes plumber arriving to sort the showerhead out. That was interesting. The hose thingy had been put in without a washer on it by Caring Carer Chris, bless him. The new just-bought showerhead would not work in a block of flats. So he took the new showerhead away with him as he went down to get an old one from his van that he’d taken out of someone’s bathroom earlier and fitted that one. It was too late and I was too tired to do any ablutions tonight, I’ll do them in the morning… if I wake up in time.

Then the audio clinic called. Then the intercom went, and a kind tenant down in the reception had found an Amazon parcel which had been opened and three-quarters of the content stolen. I rang Deana, and she came up and fetched the box of four sprays originally, but now just the one cleaner… that I had not ordered anyway, and some git had stolen three of them.

The plumber helped me to try and reset the computer before I cocked up and got rid of the WordPress stuff. Of course, the files not being there, and CorelDraw cannot open the blog pages now for access. A fifth day on the trot of horrendously crap luck.
It’s not finished yet.
Well pissed off, and the sulks and depression were brewing.
I put the new Kodak strap over my head that Caring Carer Chris had fitted for me to take some sky shots, which I did. Then the strap fell off of the camera, and I dropped it on the floor.
I picked up the camera and bits of strapping and put them on the bedtable to show Chris if he calls later. I straightened the bedspread and hit my head on the bedstead. It wasn’t on the bedstead; it was on the fall bar, but that didn’t rhyme. Haha!

So, I may have to miss a few of the usual blogs while I catch up and sort out what other mistakes I’ve made.
I will try to keep writing an ode for a while, but with the medical appointments and household calamities to sort out, I love writing my odes as well. I don’t want to upset my multitudinous flock, hoard, and worldwide fans. I apologise to both of you.

Sorted the pouch emptying and straightened the bedspread.

Of to the wet room.

The food order arrived.
All filled.
Carer Kara phoned about the shower and called the Doctor again for advice.
The morning clouds

All three nurses came at the same time. Hristina said she would tell the Warden about my earache and the shower problem, bless them they were so kind, as was Kara.

The computer gaff had me down in spirits and self-hating.

Bottom field below the tree copse,
The wee-wee kept coming.

I spotted the press-on cup hooks looking a little weathered. I took them off and cleaned them and the under-counter part.

Carer Chris called; he noticed a lot of fluffy bits in the wee again.

Still warm and light.

An hour later.
Close shot of the sun.

Shelled some podded garden peas.
Potato rounds in the oven.
Chicken thighs out of the oven… yes, meat tonight!
Sliced some tomatoes.
Finished blogging. I’m very uptight with myself still.
Back in the morning.
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
I made the meal; I know this because I nodded off for an hour and woke up to see it spread all over the floor.
Not one of my best days, by any means.

A three-pronged attack last night. There were other ailments, such as , with a few rattlings from stirred me a few times. But the masters of mayhem last night were and  I was grumpy, irritable and grouchy. A bit of a cantankerous curmudgeon. Later, I had my longest-ever Seizure. I must have been working on the blog cause work had been done that I couldn’t remember doing. When I returned to the moment, the computer had crashed, well frozen. How, when and why? Not the foggiest.
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

04:00hrs; Reluctantly, I had to get up to attend the Porcelain Throne. With the last five days being controlled by a stubborn Constipation Conrad, I was in no rush to get there. I removed and emptied the nocturnal pouch. The contents were dark, but have been far worse. I put the kettle on and meandered to the wet room.
Another painful affair, but with Tiffany and Erasmus hitting me, the pain of the slow, expanding things and getting stuck a few times during the evacuation didn’t bother me as much as it should have.  I completed the task eventually, then went to get some pain relief for the ear and teeth. The tooth tincture spray, a Codeine, and I flushed the left ear and olive oil both.

I was in the kitchen making a brew of Glengettie, and Carer Richard arrived. Not in a good mood. I think his legs were giving the lad a lot of bother. He cheered a little before he departed.

THE MASSIVE BLANK BEGAN.
I knew I was on the computer, but just messed about doing different things and no progress was made in these lost hours.
Carer arrived. I was not fully with it yet. Medications and I recall her looking at the showerhead that would not work. Then I was at the door saying farewell to her…
Back to the computer, and was pleased with tthe ode making. Then, back into another blank… or I fell asleep. When I came round or woke up, I tried to write on the blog, but it wasn’t having it, then the blue screen of death appeared. I turned it off, and feeling [erky but angry with myself, I de-scabbed some potatoes to have later; having closed down the computer, fully expecting it not to come back on, my oral was at its lowest.
A good job. I took a few photos, some of which I’ve no recollection of taking. But I do recall going onto the balcony to take it. My once beloved tree copse, with the gravel pathway up to the park. I can’t even walk up it nowadays, let alone through the copse. I shut up on that subject; I’ll only depress myself. These dwellings on the left are behind the copse.
This is the result of a day pouch emptying session. There were bits floating in it, bits that resembled thin bits of cotton wool. Bits of my prostate. I presume that the Finasteride has been killing me off for the past 18 months since the Specialist told the Doctor to put me on it… for 4 weeks! But I suspect that I got it all wrong and mixed u
p. I’m jolly-well good at doing that… along with forgetting things and coping with toothache & earache while the other ailments carry on as if nothing new has happened. No, I’m not sure what the heck I’m talking about, either. An old photo here on the right had my moustache on. Hehe!
Made the second and last m ug of tea permitted. I’m just not with it today.
Now these snaps, again from the balcony. You can tell the sun has got through at last.
I took several shots, so I could see the flying duck.
I hope you can see it and it isn’t me losing the plot again.

BLANK NUMBER TWO
I’m sure I was in the kitchenette, washing the cup. I thhink I was musing on whether to have an early meal or not. What seemed like five minutes later, I was in the junk room sorting stuff out when I returned to reality. Not knowing what I was intending to do, I think I’d moved a load of stuff from the corner and into the middle of the room. Gawd knows why? I moved it back into the corner. A depression was forming, my teeth were hurting, and I felt pissed off about not getting any help over the showerhead problem. A good downer this one is.
I was hobbling from room to room, doing nothing in any of them. I went out onto the sunny balcony again to take this photo of the end car park. Then, I sprayed some of the toothache stuff on the teeth and took a painkiller again. It might be these that are causing my out-of-its?
The toothache is getting worse now as I get tired. The spray is doing nothing to help like it did earlier on. Or did, is it?

I’ll get the potatoes on, turn off the computer, and take yet another painkiller, Codeine. Might be back in the morning, or even later tonight if the toothache wakes me again. Cheers!
Oh, Nurse Hristina just phoned; she is calling in the morning to take the blood for the Warfarin INR level test. Bless her!

Cock-up.
Got in a muddle – Super-Seizure, messed things up.
Sorry.

Last night’s sleep was full of intrusions. Dozens of them! I spent the night waking up with a jump and, amazingly, swearing and falling rapidly back into slumber. Occasionally, pain from ‘s  Ankle Ulcer got in on the act. Fair enough, I try not to have any favourite ailments. Hehe! … Unfortunately, the Sherida Shocks didn’t know when to stop today. I think they are connected partly to having my stroke . I signed onto the healthunlocked.com site, and sometimes, well, very often, others say of their electric shocks. The American ones have specialists and many varied treatments received. All I got from the NHS, was when they diagnosed it; ‘It will only get worse with time, the is nothing we can do to repair dying neurotransmitters’ the nwent home and looked up what they were on the laptop.
However, I did not suffer with them then. Since the Diabetes took a stronger hold of me, so did .
So, not a restful night. Humph!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Not a lot of writing today. You’ll see why later. Huh!
Yet another too-deep colour for the nocturnal catheter pouch to be recorded.

The one good thing about the Porcelain Throne evacuation was that for the… wait for it, 15 minutes spent waiting for the motion to start, plus the 9 minutes of agony it took to force it along, I didn’t have a single shock from .
However, for the first time in three days, poor old bled this time.

So, I got the extremities cleaned and medicated next. Olive oiled the ears, tooth tinctured the teeth, Barrier creamed my underarm, and man-breasts rashes. Then Phorpain gelled Arthur Itis, Cartilages Chloe and Carol. Got the eye drops in, I could not reach to treat the ingrowing toenails, but Carer Christopher did them for me later on, bless him. Then, as carefully as I could, I started shaving. A lot of blood was coming from the right earhole tab; I had to pour some Brut over it to find where it was coming from.   Instantly, I found it… it stung a bit. It turned out to be a massive, gigantic wound about the size of half that of a small pinhead.  Hehe!

Carer Kara came. She was in a rush; she was doing a double. Medicated me, barrier creamed all my red spots. ♥ We spoke about something on the computer, but I can’t remember what else due to my going into a Seizure of some sort; I assume Kara thought I’d nodded off. Or it may have come on after Kara had left? Hahaha!
Later, Carer Chris arrived.
I was sorting out the Low-Cost Food Shop order that was delivered last night, and I’d forgotten about respite walking around the boxes all morning and last night. Fool!
WHOOPSIEDANGLEPLOP!
My annoyance was more annoyanced than ever before! How I did it, I don’t know… but the word list I had to create again after losing the original to the ether just couldn’t be found! I committed myself to do nothing else at all until I found it.
No doubt at all; I also lost the page on the notepad where I had the noddle for once to write down the name of the file and where I’d stored it last afternoon; it brought shame, misery and depression I could have done without. And the time that it cost me! I searched everywhere to try and find that notepad page. No luck, of course. I then search through all the Word. docs on the control panel.
I was getting more upset and self-lambing and was on the verge of giving up and doing something silly. After three hours, to me, it was so important to find it to do today’s blog with I was tempted to start drinking again. Instead, I meandered depressedly into the kitchen and took two shots of the sky views.
The beauty of the clouds took my mind off of my worries for a few minutes. Then, I searched each room again for the note page. No chance, of course. Then took more snaps.
Back on the computer, as I started another search in the hope that I’d missed them, with my eyes getting foggy and double vision – I had an epiphany!
At the same time, an inner self-anger rose up!
Twit! Dumbo! Imbecile! Idiot!
Bird-brain! Featherhead! Stupid-Clot!

Doofuss! Nerk! Knuckle-dragger!
I suddenly realised that I’d saved it in Notepad!
My self-esteem was low enough before…
ARGH!!!
Giving up seems like an idea at this moment!.

I shelled some more, the last of the fresh garden peas ready to use later. I’ve spent so much time searching for ~ Words I’d lost but hadn’t, I just forgot where I’d stored them—that Chris did his evening call already!
If I ever catch up on this blog, I’ll look forward to this feast. Or will I? I’m feeling low.
Chris took these Kodak snaps of my poor old legs for me.
The ankle ulcer does not look like it is going to erupt, but the base has gone all around the lower leg, so we’ll see what happens. Along with the shocks it sends up the leg, it has now started itching like mad. Oddly, for the first time, the lower arms are the same. Beats me?
I’ve waffled more than I planned to, but I will be on this blog for hours yet. Might have to pack up, but I can’t sleep cause the replacement showerhead is due at 22:00hrs. I’ll check the tracker again; hang on… Yes, it’ll be ten before it gets here.

I’ll make some nosh. But I dare not not fall asleep before the showerhead arrives, and I am so tired. I’ll not be back on tonight.
I do fear missing hearing the intercom when the delivery arrives. Oh, dear. It’s back to near normal for me today!

The showerhead and batteries arrived at about 21:40hrs.
Carer Chris will fit it for me in the morning.

I got the belated nosh at last.
This is me, feet up, tray on the humongous belly, watching some recorded ‘Heartbeat’ episodes. It took me a while to work out how to get them running. I’ve got to remember to ask Carer Kara again because there must be a quicker way of doing it than I did.
I nodded off to sleep, so I won’t be going to bed tonight. However, the sleep was much better, believe it or not. And, awakenings were far less than they have been lately. She may have tired herself out with the legions of daytime shocks she issued me with!

I found them… (Smug-Mode Adopted) But it took me nearly 10 minutes, so the Smug-Mode was removed.

Angela, I was her servant and adorer,

I got made redundant and became poorer,

I went to Leeds; I couldn’t afford Bermuda!.
