– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – I revelled in appreciation for the 4 unbroken hours of a deep, satisfying, heavenly sleep last night. Then I suddenly jerked awake so violently that I all but fell off of the bed! Became aware that , with her fellow ailment both kicking of by way of a morning greeting. This was at about 04:00hrs, and I resettled into a comfortable position to nod off back to sleep. But it wasn’t to be. The shaking awake had stirred my loins and brain, making any chance of kipping again impossible. So, I decided to get up and have a stand-up wash and shave. ‘The best-laid plans of mice and men!’ I removed the nocturnal catheter pouch, went to the wet room to empty it, and safely packed it into the waste bag. Then, I felt the need for the Porcelain Throne. Thanks to ‘s attention, the last two morning’s efforts failed. I spent ages waiting and hoping things would activate. I went through the usual routine: I had a go at the crossword puzzle, couldn’t get any clues solved, and moved to an earlier uncompleted crossword (I’ve many of them in the book). I counted the cracks in the ceiling and found 22 today. I gave up in the end. But I’d spent so long in the wet room, praying, painfully pushing in efforts tp prompt things into action and failed, that it was too late to get a shower because it is liable that a Carer would call on me. I’m not sure if I read the clock correctly when I shot awake cause if it was what I thought, it meant I’d been in the wet room for over an hour and a half! Surely not? But knowing me… making mistakes, misreading, forgetting, losing, confusing time, articles, dates, etc., does come to me naturally nowadays. This cannot be denied.
I tidied the bed and had an . I knocked the box with the camera gear off of the bed table. I landed on my ingrowing toenail.
I went into the balcony with Kodak Two and took photos of the early morning views. I can’t explain the bonus hue on the right of photo two. The next one seemed to have larger stars in the sky. This Kodak does not have a night-time or through-glass option for me to use. Sob!
As I started to finish off last night’s Inchy Today blog, the bowels’ innards movements had me hastening hobblingly back to the wetroom. Unfortunately, the catheter tube pulled on little Inchie as I stood up. Arrgh! This visit was almost a repeat of the last one, a complete failure. But I didn’t spend so long trying to force the unenforceable to flow.
I washed up and returned to the computer to finalise yesterday’s blog. I finished it and posted it off good and early for once.
As I was starting to work on this blog, arrived and got the diabetic socks on for me. Medicationalised me, too.
The work on this blog was now taking me ages. The double-vision came on so much earlier today. I should have been aware of my getting up so early. Humph!
Then the kicked-in big time. So for an hour or so, I was on the verge of pressing my alert alarm. It seemed to affect me every few minutes, but not for any length of time.
Domestic Marie arrived. She hoovered up and titivated the kitchenette.
Then Carer Kimberley, who was doing the midday and financial help calls, arrived. Of course, Carer Karer is my official representative, so Kimberly could not help me contact the bank or insurance people I needed to sort. I hope Kara’s on holiday and not poorly.
I gave up on this blog. It was not working, with my concentration broken with the callers and the mini-mind blanks. I tried to get some Cartoons sorted out for the blogs.
Change of heart. I made an Iceland order for the weekend. I also ordered some medications, a big tub of food grade Bi-Carbonate Soda, and a cleaning box of the same. This will eliminate me from having to use rob-dogs Asda ever again. Medications are coming today; the rest will be on Thursday.
I searched for suitable, funny cartoons to make CorelDrawable and use. I’ve spent hours getting a few cartoons done. One in particular Tim and Dog may like on WordPress. I’m putting it on the blog on August 24th. I hope it tickles them.
The medication tracker was viewed again three hours later and is one call away. Hurray!
Now, I’m the next stop. Can’t wait to get the teeth sprayed… The top two split ends of the front teeth are going black now. Four on the bottom right and one on the top row are painful. But after spraying on this painkiller, the pain lessened a smidge almost straight away. I’m nervous about using too much with all the regular medications; it might affect something else. Darer Carer and then Carer Precious arrived. I took this shot of the front car park on Chestnut Way. I’m not sure when. The end car park was photographed next. Both from the balcony. Then, off I trotted to the wet room and Porcelain Throne. Half an hour later, and in more tremendous pain than earlier, I gave up again. “Will Inchy ever have an evacuation again?” Hehehe! I’ve a trick to try that might help for tonight, Chilli-con-carne?
I asked the Carer to read the instructions on the ready-made Chilli meal for me, and wrote down the timing for the microwave to use later. 3½ minutes – I minute rest and then 3 more minutes.
Much to my surprise, when I got back into the main hotel room, I noticed that it had been raining, but there were no signs of any other than on the deck. That shower didn’t last for long. We need more… It’s not often that we can say that in the UK.
I prepped the chilli meal in the microwave, and it had some chips in it. I also added some defrosted bread to soak up the extra gravy I made and added to it. Nothing wrong with the flavour at all. But the chips were too hard for the teggies, and the peppers got to exposed nerve ends a few times. Of course, I just laughed it off. . I washed the pots up and got down into the itch-creating, bruise-giving, catheter-tube-tugging, crumb-decorated from my nocturnal nibbling, God-awfully uncomfortable, cringingly grotty, no longer working, dirty beige, anti-sleep designed, c1966, second-hand bought for £300 ten years ago from the charity shop, recliner. To watch an episode of ‘Heartbeat’. I managed to last for about five minutes and nodded off into the depths of Sweet Morpheus. And I woke to immediate panic… Panic? Why? I’ll tell you. Being so deep in sleep, I was aware that the medications had been delivered, and I thought straight away that it was them arriving. I got up quickly. Dizzy Dennis attacked as I got on my feet, and Cartilage Choe gave way. In seconds, I was a crumpled heap on the carpet! By good fortune, I was close to the £300 second-hand shop purchased, c1966, welt-causing, uncomfortable, not-working, itch-inspirational, crumb-containing recliner, and used it to drag myself up on my feet as the Carer came in. No diabetic socks to take off cause I forgot to remind earlier carers to put them on for me. Precious put the night pouch on for me. No medications were needed because I’d taken so much of the toothache spray and didn’t want any reactions between the different medicines.
After he was done, I checked the taps (faucets), cooker, etc., just in case I had left any on. Taking these rather sad photos with Kodak, two of the night’s views are from the kitchen. I returned to the junk room and battled my way into the bed. It’s not easy!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – Very few verbals were written today. Sorry about that. But not all bad news. The teeth were less bother than yesterday… well, up tp 17:00hrs at least. Then it started and stayed overnight with me. That was friendly of Wasn’t it. What was the trouble today? Luckily, I’d got the top half, the graphics, done before the mind-blanks launched their repeated attacks. I’m not sure of anything that went on today now. I don’t think anyone called the dentist for me, but they may have. The photos triggered the odd memory.
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – Dark.
Not sure why I took these.
I Have no memories of taking these, but it looked like it was in three different times?
Vaguely recall getting these delivered. The fridge was in a mess later. No idea what I was up to.
Ah, these I remember taking. From the kitchen window. The first one was high up in the sky. I caught the edge of the window in the second one. That was taken to the left and lower. Beautiful!
Front car park from the kitchen.
Fantastic shot taken here. It almost looked like a weather photo with islands in the sea below.
The blanks began to come less often. And I made a meal I could manage with the teggies. The sausages were too hard for the teggies to cope with.
Things I’ve missed, not caught… Used to be almost nought, Now I’m a get-it-wrong expert! No longer able to romance or cavort, Rest my loins in any port… Manual pees for three years? Nought! Seeing hearing takes some effort, Can’t walk far, need transport… Of the motorised or electric sort, I refuse to get all distraught… I’ll have another glass of port!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – Tranquillity – Contentment – Peace to all!

At one stage, while the Carer was here, I lost track of what we were talking about altogether. The teeth and earholes seemed to be competing to see who could hurt me most! Not all the time, there were breaks and the pain only lasted for 19hrs I was up and about. Then got worse when I settled into the bed! Arrgh! & Cragnangles! – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – Later, Carer Richard gave the urine colour a 7+ grade. I didn’t think it was that back. But, me having Protanopia, I’m can’t really tell.
I poddled into the kitchen and saw the dying-off rainbow. In a rush to get a camera, I found the spare one first and used it. I didn’t want to risk the rainbow dissipating before I got back to take some pictures of it using the camera’s auto mode.
Not very distinct, but I thought it was beautiful. and it gave me the idea for today’s ode theme. I soon felt grumblings from the innards and made my way to the wet room. I made a new tag for this one. The surprise of Constipation Conrad returning again after one day of Trotsky Terence regaining charge of matters was bad enough. But I tried five times over the day up to now (16:00hrs). And I still haven’t passed nowt from the rear end! I took more photos of the view as the sun was coming around the blocks of flats. Still using the spare camera… until I can find where I left the new Kodak2. It’s a new camera, but obviously not a current model. It takes four AA batteries, and is short of many options that were on the one that Tim Price donated to me. No through-glass or in-rain options on it. But the bonus is, I had a similar camera twelve years ago, and can work things out easier on the new-old one. It has a macro option, which I hope to try today. On with updating yesterday’s blog. Which was constantly concentration-affected periods every time that either, or kicked off. Believe me, they all constantly did. Later on, when I went to get a wash, I coughed and both the ear and the teeth stung painfully. The inside of my mouth seemed to have swollen. A bit of one of the front teeth broke off. When I used the facecloth anywhere near the face, the nose, cheeks, and throat hurt like hell each time I touched the area. I gave up, thinking the pain would ease off later. They didn’t! I asked each Caregiver if they could call the Dentist for me, but I got a negative response. I think I must be moaning about things so much that they don’t hear or listen to me. Hahaha!
I hobbled my way into the kitchen, and the tiniest spots of rain I’d ever seen were falling. For some reason, a pt insects landed on the windows. I took the opportunity to try a Macro on the camera. (I found it hidden in full view near the Carers nibble pots.) I could not hold the camera steady enough to take a closer shot
Carer Joanne came in to return the nightshirts she had hand-washed for me. Bless her cotton socks. ♥ Gave her some treats in appreciation.
The very fine rain was falling again. I checked for signs of a mudslide in the end car park on Citrus Way. The rain had stopped again. Then, I heard the rumble of thunder. I went back out on the balcony and saw that many other tenants were out on their balconies to take a look. I think we all expected a downpour this time. But no, it was all dry again. We could do with a good downpour or more!
The sky brightened, and no signs of rain showed us any interest.
kicked off painfully, and I used up the last of the toothache spray. Now I have to search around to see where I put the other bottle! I found it in a kitchen drawer, and I walloped a Dollop into my mouth and olive-oiled the right earhole to ease who was joining in the other ailments attacks. Humph! I fear I may be using too much of the medications. But how can I get in touch with the dentist? Oh, I’d better get their telephone number ready. Got it! The bank keeps sending me codes to pay LV insurance with? Kara paid them last week, along with an increase in the price of 50%! Grrr!
I’ll get summat to eat – that’s soft enough for the teeth.
Carer Precious arrived. I hoovered the carpet and went to make a meal. I’ll be back later, or maybe much later.
I made the softest meal I could manage. It was not too bad pain-wise either, although long after eating the mini-feast, kicked-off again. Making me suffer yet another ever-awakening night of misery.
I took this shot as I washed the things from the meal. Carer Precious arrived. No socks to take off; no one had put them on for me.
Worran ‘orrible night’s sleep! , , and ensured a miserable nocturnal nightmare of ever-waking-up. Muttering, swearing, cursing and fighting to get back to kip. I’m feeling fedder-upperer than I’ve been for a long time.
I must ask a Carer to call the dentist to see if they can see me. has been worse than ever today. Hope I can get in the dentist. My concentration is non-existent. The agony is doing me no good at all. Even the tooth-pain-killer spray is not easing the teggies in the slightest. I’ve taken extra Codeines, Ibuprofen dissolvable in the bladder water drinks, and been eating Paracetamols as if they were podded peas. Not much in today’s blog, apart from moans and gripes.
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
At least the nocturnal wee-wee was a better colour.
The new Kodak.
I took these shots out of the kitchenette window with the cheapo backup camera, not the Kodak.
It captures the varying colour shades of the rising sun behind the building to my left. It’s not too bad at all.
Then the need for a visit to the was called for, so I went.
One final shot of the sky was taken. There were not many clouds yet; there were no more at midday. What does that indicate, I wonder? I poddled to the wet room.
No pain in evacuating this time.
But the stink was beyond the putrid classification. Phoaw!
Cleaning things up afterwards was a task and a half.
I think I had a while in there. I do not recall finishing up the cleaning and was back on the computer when I realised this. I grabbed a hold of , (I could not find and raced, well, hobbled back to the wet room to check if I’d left the taps running. I had not, and I’d cleaned the faucets!
I worked on CorelDraw and updated yesterday’s blog. I sent it off. It took me about three and a half hours.
I went to see if the skies were worth photographing and found that had been left in the kitchen.
arrived. was then joined by , in a two-pronged attack while Precious was still here putting my diabetic socks on. The lad showed some concern. Then, as he was putting the other sock on, a kicked off, and I nearly hit him. Then, sent a cracking bolt up my leg that went beyond my kneecap. I gritted my teeth with the pain and instantly forgot all about the same pain… I’d crunched one of the bad front teeth against a lower one. Boy, well, Arghhh! Precious then issued the medications, and I gave him a cold drink from the fridge and his choice of a nibble.
Within minutes of his leaving, I had another blank that must have lasted for a while, but I had not worked on this blog during that time. I may have done some CorelDrawing, or I could just be getting things all mixed up again. Carried on giving me some stick, and foolishly, I sprayed on another dose of the toothache painkiller. It’s losing its effectiveness now. Then, a second Caregiver arrived, but I can’t recall her name. She was in and out quickly because there was nothing for her to do, apart from taking a choice of drink with her as she left. Hehe!
Now, I concentrated as best I could on starting this blog for an hour or two. Then, I topped up the Nurses & Carers’ nibble table stock.
I tried to make up some Cartoons as I only had two days’ worth ready. It was hard work with the toothache and electric shocks, and the earache was gaining power. I’m fed up!
I took this shot from the kitchen window. Cloudlessness?
I went to make a microwave-ready soft-to-eat meal. Minutes later, these on the right were five minutes apart. The sky had a few clouds up there now.
Carer Israel called next. I got the lad to take off the diabetic socks for me. I lost the plot a bit as he was on his mobile for a long time, but know that I did tell him of the tooth and earache and had a decently powered shock from & the ankle ulcer while he was here. I told him to take some nibbles and a drinkie on his way out. I had a ready-made shepherd’s pie. The vegan sausages I added were too firm and painful to eat. They pissed off too much. But I managed all the rest; the soft sliced milk roll bread and lemon & lime yoghourt were delicious.
I went to wash the pots, etc. and caught the sunset again. I snapped the first effort. Then, I proceeded to reach to close the window against the radiator. Swore, then swore some more. I took the second shot with the sun now gone to bed.
I decided to watch something on TV. I drifted off into a deep sleep for about ten minutes, and then the TV woke me up, and I swore a little more. Then the door chime chimed (they do that, I’ve noticed, Hehe!), and in came Carer Richard. Of course, I bored him with my tales of the last few days’ toothache, earache, and electric shocks. Following up after he gave me the medications, I opened a bottle of spring water and added some effervescent Ibuprofen painkiller to it. Well, another The fizz shot up so fast that it drenched my nightshirt, protection pants and right leg before landing on the carpet! I took off the gown and limped to the wet room. I removed the PPs, put them in the bin, and struggled to add a fresh pair. I bent a fingernail backwards, and it split, causing the new PPs to tear. Bending down to get them off again, I gave way as I was getting yet another pair on. Naturally, of course, the PPs kept me company. When I returned to the main room, Richard asked what had happened. He had heard my language and cursing. It was good of him to wait to see if I was okay. A drinkie was chosen, and nibbles were offered. I was not in a good frame of mind now! I got back on the computer to write down the farcicalness that had taken place before I forgot it. – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
♥ CHEERS TO ONE AND ALL OUT THERE! ♥
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – was by far the worst ailment I had today. I have to find a dentist soon. Otherwise, I may find myself going stark-raving-mad. come think of it, I think I’m at that stage now. What would be the next one up? Away with the fairies, barking mad, non-compos mentis, or nutty as a fruitcake, Hehe!
The meddlesome medley of like yesterday relented. However, I did have one hell of a mind-blank this evening that lasted for at least three hours. During this, Carer Joanne discovered that I’d cut up and seasoned some mushrooms earlier in the day and left the heat on under the pan when she did the taps and cooker checks for me. I genuinely thought she was joking at first. I went into the kitchen to her, and sure enough, I had. Why the hell I couldn’t remember doing it – and equally worrying, is how I did it without knowing and had no accidents, Accifauxpas or Whoopsiedangleplops doing it?
I also took some sky photographs as well.
But the mini-blanks, unless I didn’t realise, which must be possible, did not affect me much at all. On this long one, no blogging was done at all. What was I doing then? That’s a silly question. I was doing the mushrooms, but that wouldn’t have taken me three hours, surely. I found the sharp knife hours later, underneath the microwave cooker. I assume I’d used it to slice the mushroom with.
I used far too much of the pain-killer spray on the teeth today. was hardly any bother at all, up to now anyway. I’m going to ask a Carer to call the doctor on Monday. I’ll get to the surgery somehow or other. I rankling me now.
Getting yesterday’s blog done took me ages. This is surprising, really, because the toothache hadn’t been bothering me too much until today. Thanks to the pain-killer spray.

Cor, blimey. Must tell the doctor.
My first shot of the morning.
No mud, no rain.
Ablutions & Porcelain Throne time. Urgh!
On and off of blogging.
These were found on the computer later.
Not only did I not recall doing the mushrooms that Joanne found, but I can’t remember taking these photos. But once I saw them, I remembered. Hehe! To this one, after I’d sliced and seasoned the mushrooms. Boy, did I season them!
Strong soya sauce, oregano, liquid smoke flavour, Polish Worcester sauce, sea salt, black pepper and some onion granules. I’m not sure, but I have a strange feeling, just might have added some mint? Just a feeling, like.
Afternoon view.
I wonder where the liquid in the car park came from?
No car washing, water shortage?
Beautiful clouds later on.
The big Blank arrived.
Two lovely sunset shots. Smug-Mode Adopted.
But I was still bothered about the blanks.
Better put this result on while I remember. I got eight of them in four hours. Haha!
Smug-Mode disengaged.
Waiting for Carer Precious to come.
I’ll go on WP reader and comments.
Caught the sunset for once. I took these on the new Kodak.
Thanks to , the rating for the meal of the day was lower than it really deserved. – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
EPILOGUE Carer Precious took off my socks. Checked the taps and stove, and was happier because he was on his way home. Good for him. A nice lad. I kept nodding off and waking up for hours. It was a bad night, broken by , the odd strike, but most often it was who woke me up. Terrible night!
THE COMPUTER IS IN NEED OF FIRST AID.
At minimum, a corrective operation.
Maybe it’s due for a cremation.
BSOD Blue screen of death often comes on,
This helps the rhyming motion,
Lost files, at least a hundred and one.
They disappeared, they have gone…
Carer Kara is to telephone…
For computer doctor to pop along,
But no time to today. My fears are at Defcon!
Four times today, it’s frozen…
I worry, expecting the computer’s extinction.
I can’t get help or information…
I feel I’m existing in isolation.
Sinking into depression and frustration!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – I turned off the computer on the fifth BSOD. I tried every trick I knew to find out what the problem was, but I failed. I think the messages telling me the computer is low on free memory are indicative and possibly the art of the issue. Tried again but nothing after the intro would move. On the third try, I got to add this to the blog. I hope it works for posting in the morning. I dare not use up any more memory.

I missed the sun & cloud? Gorrit, this time. I used the ready-made mini pot of gravy for the meal. It saved a lot of time in preparing real gravy. Shake the pot rigorously, then microwave for one minute, wait 30 seconds and heat for another minute. What could be easier?
I’ll tell yer… making proper gravy! It took me that long to clean the splattered inside of the microwave; it would have been better to have made it from scratch! Hehehe!
Still, it tasted fine.

Nice move! I removed the nocturnal pouch from the catheter contraption. In doing so, I tugged at the tube. I’d like to say I did not shout out in pain, causing the bleeding to pour out all over the PPs, down my leg and all over the new nightshirt. But if I did, I’d be fibbing. I went off to the wet room, convinced I was going to have an evacuation this time. Fair enough, there were no rumbling and grumblings, but I did feel movement from the innards. I was wrong, of course. I did some hoovering—I need to do it every day. Bits of foil from the tablets and mystery bits of what look like giant tea leaves magically appear. Haha! As I went to the kitchen, I took a shot of the morning view. Then, I spotted a red light on one of the streets. So I zoomed Kodak 2 into it and took this effort on the left. I cleaned and nearly almost tidied up the kitchenette, and the car with its lights on was still there. See the streets in Nottingham, my American friends? Talk about narrow. Pavement parking is the only option for anyone with two cars.
Thanks to Jenny’s tip in getting a baby monitor and Deana and Julie putting it together for me, I heard the intercom chime! Great! Thanks to all three of them again! It was the Asda delivery. Possibly the worst one ever. It’s not the driver’s fault, I think. He packed most of the goods from his trays into boxes and bags for me. Then I got the bags in the hallway and carried them one at a time into the kitchen and junk room. There didn’t seem many items as I slowly got them put away into the various places as needed. The fridge didn’t look anywhere near full? I donned my Sherlock Holmes Cap and went on the internet to find out what was wrong with this order. I soon found out. Look at the items that were not available on this list from their Email. Five items were unattainable last week, but they went a step further this week. There were some things missing: 3 Asda thick bleach citrus 750ml, Ben Shaws shandy 1×6, and 4 Asda Bi-carb! I was pretty pissed off at being charged for these. Then, a genuine rumble from the innards, I limped to the wet room. 30 minutes of crosswording, whistling and counting the cracks on the ceiling (24) again, and no signs of any movement. Plenty of wind, though. Talk about trapped wind, but it kept coming out almost two-tone musically at times. I gave up, I eventually made a start on yesterday’s blog.
I remember using the new Kodak camera to take these shots of the clouds below.
But so many, a flood of Dizzy Spells and Seizures ravaged me. I’ve no idea who came or didn’t. Yet I found these pictures which at the time amazed me… I’d ordered another food order earlier via Amazon from Morrisons. I need help with these mind blanks. I shall see if Kara can get me a lift to the Doctor’s sorted out ASAP, then see if the Dr can see me on that day and time. Or the other way around.
As Carer Cris arrived, I came back to as near to normality as I’d ever get. I think I was responsive; no, I was! And I can recall much of this visit. But the seizures continued, but it seemed for only a minute or two at a time. Again, during one of them, I took more shots of the amazing clouds, this time with the new Kodak.
Then I had a bit of luck!
More sky shots with the spare old camera.
Last call from Carer Chris. He wanted to get home, bless him. I gave him some treats. He’s a good lad. Another fairly long seizure or mind-blank. I found two more photos taken on the SD card. I’m afraid I missed getting full pleasure from these shots.
Better get this on before I risk making a midnight feast.
Hope to be back in the morning… Hehe, it is morning now. Back later, he says confidently. I’m back… I consumed a hell of a lot of bothers and bleeding to make a meal… Tsk!
After recovering from the monster-inside evacuation, the ablutions went okay, almost to the point of being practically decent! There was just one tiny weeny cut shaving. However, drying off, I hit my shoulder on the edge of the door. Which set off , so I did a bit of cleaning up with one hand while waiting for her to cease. Then, the always risky job of getting the PPs on. To my utter amazement, it took me only about four minutes to get them on! At that time, , Cartilages Carol and Chloe didn’t give me any trouble at all! Is this a turning point? Is this going to be a half-decent day? Is luck about to change for the better? As I was finishing of in the wet room, I heard the door chime ring! It was Carer Richard arriving. He sorted this morning’s medications and checked the stocks in the medical drawer for me. I insisted he took a cold drink and some nibbles in appreciation.
Then, the silly thoughts I had earlier about my luck changing for the better were discarded. As kicked of, the shocks we not overly frequent but were far more energetic for today. As for the I’ve never had so many in a single day before. It’s a blessing that they were for a very short time (up to now, anyway 18:00hrs).
I got the Sunday updating of the blog done pretty sharpish. When the second Carers Joanne and Fauziyya arrived, I was just out of a short mind-blank. And pretty sharp-minded. I had them laughing with my funny tales. I love getting laughs from folks. I found that Fauziyya could see and read the instructions on the tooth painkiller spray. No one else could read it, even using the spyglass. Amazing vision!
Thinking about how well I had done on blogging up to now, I got myself entangled in trying to get all the Notebook files in one place. It takes me ages to get to different places, and I find it hard to recall which file is which. I have taken very few photos up to now. So I took some while it was light. I went into the balcony. I cut my finger opening the window and took this shot showing the backs of some of the houses in view. Next, I was to the left and high up, capturing the horison in the photo. Over again, the clouds looked as they have for the last two days, shape, thickness and colour-wise. These beautiful yellow flowers deserved a good picturing. The brass looked like it needed some rain to revive.
I drifted off for about an hour, but when I returned to awareness, I found I’d been busy. I moved some things out of one cupboard into another, started to wash some saucepans, and stopped partway through the job. Luckily, I’d not left the tap running. When I got back to the commuter after putting things back and cleaning, I found this photo on a current CorelDraw page. I’d written against it, it had been grouped and made a bitmap. I think now, I may have been ‘out-of-it’ for longer than I first thought. I recognised the van, and am sure I took the photo, but, maybe not after all. Why I took it, and put the wring on it, I’ve no idea. I think it was a shot I’d taken to support a story I had started last year sometime. But I just can’t find the funny story to go with it. Mixing all the files and folders up, then making a mess of reordering them, is costing me now in time and sheer frustration at my stupidity. Still, one has to do what one does best, don’t they. Hehe!
Off to the kitchenette see what I have later for nosh. I opted for Lamburgers on Milk Roll bread and some BBQ beans. As I was taking some more photos, Carer Christopher and his trainee arrived. The photo of the meal seems to have gone off into the ether? Is this going to happen with all my future cameras? No, I think it must be my error or cock-up somewhere. Tsk!
Letter about a new ailment they think I’ve added to the list of them; it is called Paroxysmal Disorder. The explanation…
Paroxysmal disorders are conditions that can occur suddenly and unpredictably and can include dizziness, swaying, and seizures. They got that right; that’s exactly what’s happening to me now!
These disorders can lead to falls and injuries, and treatment depends on the specific condition. Some treatments include:
Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) This common inner ear disorder causes a sudden feeling of spinning or swaying and can also cause nausea and vomiting. It occurs when calcium crystals in the ear move to the wrong place, causing the inner ear to signal to the brain that movement is occurring when it’s not. A doctor can guide a series of head movements to help put the crystals back in place. BPPV can also subside over time, but early treatment is important to prevent falls and injuries.
Epileptic seizures (NES)These paroxysmal events mimic epileptic seizures but don’t include irregular neuronal discharges. Other symptoms include shaking, loss of consciousness, and bladder control.
But will they do anything about it? I’m having nothing done to address my Peripheral Neuropathy they diagnosed many years ago. I was just told that they can do nothing to mend dying neurotransmitters (Nerve ends). Then I had the stroke; one of the tablets I’m on now was prescribed to thin the blood, and Beta-blockers and Warfarin after the heart operation. But I’ll not go on about it; I’m more concerned with , and at the moment… no, I take that back. I’ve just had give one up the right leg from the ankle. My computer screenwriting and icons all have a shadow of themselves. I’ll give up and try to catch up later.
I’m back, and, with a changed priority over which to worry about. . The already-dried blood from earlier leaks was pulled off as the tube moved as I stood up. Frustrated and harassed, I decided to have my third mug of Glengettie tea of the day. I know I’m only allowed two, but sod it, I’m fed up with back teeth. (And there are only one and a half of them left in there, Hahaha!) This gave me a chance to take some shots of the night’s wonderful scenes. On this one, I can see the head of a snake-like beast, its eyes, snout, chin, and fangs coming from the top left? The second one is even more revealing, with a fantastic optical illusion. The snake-like head changes into an arm and hand, then back to a hen’s face! Can you see it? Each time you look away and then view it again, it seems to change.
Or is that just me?
Well, I got one within 10 seconds. Ahem! – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
Just like yesterday, we had an early light rainfall that dried up in about 10 minutes, and no more again. I think I’ve put the wrong photo on here? Sorry.
I got the hoover with the headlights out and did a bit of cleaning up. Not much mind. Sunday again, 10:00hrs and no 07:00hrs Carer arrived to sort the medications for me. No surprise, this is almost usual recently at the weekends. I can understand the problems that can arise from my experiences as a Security Controller.
It was slow progress again with the blog updating. At 11:15hrs, Carer Fazziyya arrived. I got the medications from her, and we managed a little natter and let her pick her nibble and drinkie. She still had two more calls to do before she could go home, bless her. Nice gal.
I had a prolonged Seizure. Came back to as near to reality as possible and went to make a brew. Carer Helen arrived. She could not issue any medications, which meant I suffered a little longer with . The gap was not long enough to cover the 4 hours gap limit on painkillers. So, I put an effervescent Nurofen tablet in the spring water.
I made a meal of soft foods. Well, the potatoes I burned were painful, so I had to leave some. I washed the pots and intended to sit down briefly to clear my head before tackling the blog again, but… Zzz’s! Two hours later, I woke up and got back on the computer. I seem to have lost a lot of wasted time today?
Then Carer Sushaman arrived. was already here, he’s been with me all day. Hehehe! . He sorted the big medication issues out for me. He noticed I was scratching at my arm all the time, so we examined the offending limb. , Aha, a further outbreak of Acne or Eczema? Well, fancy that, another ailment for me.
I carried on blogging, not getting very far cause I kept mind-wandering off to other things.
I meandered out onto the balcony and took some shots of the slowly getting lower sun, with the awesome pattern of clouds highlighted, it seemed for me personally, with my Pareidolia’s Delight. I bet you can see some of the things I did in the sky. Go on, see what you can find. The ghost? The dolphin? Or maybe it’s my new spectacles that will help me see them? Hahaha!
I’ll have a go on the WP reader, before the next Carer is due. Some great poems and photography on WP tonight. Doug’s cats, Andy and Tim, were exceptional.
21:00hrs I turned off the computer, having managed a little work on the blog, at last, and awaited the arrival of the last Carer of the day’s call. 21:55 hrs: Carer Richard arrived. He did not sound too happy. I got him a cold drink, and he took care of the medications.
After he’d gone, I had some hunger pangs despite my already having eaten a little meal. I took a night view shot while prepping the meal. Potato waffles, veggie sausages, some Milk Roll sliced bread, and a very tasty lemon and lime-flavoured vegan dessert.

Everywhere there is cheating competition,
Humankind is at fault, the causation…
The world breeds an immoral civilianisation,
Each proletariat morphs into a curmudgeon,
World leaders get greedy & cantankerous,
Who can supply the counter-aggression?
From driving over a chevron…
to militarily, daily killing of a million,
Is this God’s & Allah’s dominium?
I have yet to make my decision!

It is now 10:00hrs on Sunday. Just about to start updating this blog from here. No ankle shocks as yet. But Cartilage Carole is still inflamed from the tumble. Sparse details on the notepad. Is this blog in a Whoopsiedangleplop-Noi mode? Hehe! – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – Gotten Himmel!
Struggled out of the bed, and tidied it up a bit.
Cleaning up took ages! The ankles looked so much better.
The first-morning shot of the day.
The computer is on. I made a start on this blog, but not much. arrived with . The nibbles were attacked with some relish, and Chris took his drinkie treat. As they left, unobligingly kicked off.
. I espied that the drizzle was falling, and went in the balcony to take this shot through the glass. The rain stopped within about ten minutes, not to be seen again.
They kept visiting me for varying amounts of time, ranging from a few seconds to ten minutes or so. I’m fed up with these!
kicked in. I needed some pain relief. I doused the mouth and teeth with the Pain-relief-Spray several times throughout the day. Probably a little too often. I also added a 20g Nurofen Meltlet to each bottle of the spring water that I have to drink each day to keep the urine flowing onto the catheter. I’m fed up with this, too!
The Memory Blanks kept coming. remained a permanent, perpetually pestering, penalising, paralysing, spirit-pulverising, problematising, sanity-purging, perduring, pillorying, and punishing persistent all-day partner that I could well have done without! I’m well pissed of with him, too!
was in the right mood with me. So, I added one dissolvable tablet into two of the spring water bottles, which I have to drink each day to encourage the damaged bladder to pass the urine pouch on my leg to ease the pain. I’m really, really pissed off with this!
The hazy morning tempted me to try the new Kodak camera to take a couple of shots from the kitchenette windows. I don’t think the first one of the houses came out too well. It was a little blurry, but the whole scene to the keys was a smidge hazy, as was the sky. But it was gorgeous to me.
Inchy got them, but not within the 10 seconds.
From this point, the seizures came on rapidly. I recall coming in with new. I feel we had a discussion and laughed about things, but I am not certain of what it was about. I can recall getting my words mixed up and forgetting the words needed. Finally, I finished the Friday blog and posted it to WordPress.
What happened the following two hours is anyone’s guess.
and new , arrived. It was confusing, too. All the usual signs of a seizure; hard to find words, I was, I think, rabbiting on, verbose. I fear I may not have been understandable to them or them to me.
I think I fell asleep. When I woke up, I took these shots of the sunset as it disappeared over the horizon.
Started to prep a meal that was easy on the teeth to eat. Taking these shots a little later while in the kitchen.
I sprayed some of the pain relief on my teeth, then carefully, slowly, almost delicately, ate the snack. Nice!
I went into the kitchen to wash the tray and cutlery and…
I had a stroke of bad luck – (As if I needed to say that!) gave way, and at the exact same time, I got a high-voltage shock from the right ankle via . Resulting in my going down on one knee and hitting my head en route to the floor. The waking stick fell first, and the knee on top of it! It all happened in a split second, and by the time I’d recovered enough to try to get back up again, I noticed I’d left the hot water tap running. How did I know this? The flood-water alarm went off! I had to rush getting up to reply to the alarm box voice, wanting to know what had happened and if I needed help! I got near enough so they could hear my cringing apology and tell them everything was okay. Thank you. By now, the pains had increased from , , , and the lump on my head. (I’ve no idea what I hit with it, but the radiator is the most likely suspect, I think) And , joined in with taking overall control of the situation! A bit dodgy in my balance, I made my way to the computer chair and settled for a few minutes. I’m not sure if it was a signing in again or signing out sign, but send me what I hoped would be a final electric shock up the leg that reached up as far as my kneecap! Feeling mildly out-of-sorts, I just sat quietly for a while. Which proved to be ten seconds. Hehe! As and new , and came in. After Chris stopped laughing at the slight scratch on my head, he took a photo of it. As to be expected, I cannot recall the whole visit, but think we had a natter about something. I can remember Chris taking a can of plonk and some nibbles as they shot off home. No offer of diabetic socks being put on or a night pouch was attached. That is not blame offering; most likely, in the state I was in, I did not ask them to do so, either. In the morning, I found these late-night shots taken obviously through the kitchen windows. It seems I got the wobbles on while taking the first one, and I probably realised it and took the second one. This is all supposition, of course. I can’t recall when, or taking them at all. – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
