NOT SO GOOD TODAY: Very little time to get anything done. The Urine Infection is returning. Anne Gyna has not yet gotten over the shortages of medications that laid me up for three days of agony nada frustrations. Between them caused a lack of concentration and depression beyond belief. I think I’ve also got the lurgy that Richard had. Link above to first Snippet. So not so much diary news, sorry folks,

06:15hrs: Spent the first hour of wakefulness between the wee-wee bucket and the Porcelain Throne. So many trips were needed, and all like the urine-fungal infection started last week. Putrid-smelling pee, pains starting in the bladder area, then moving all around the torso, almost to the back.

The Asda order arrived. Carer Richard arrived as I was putting it away, and he gave me a hand to do so; bless him. We spoke of the infections and my symptoms, and he said they were exactly the same as he suffered last week. His doctor told him of a new ‘bug’ going around. (Please see the link in the First News Snippet)
Richard told me to ring the Doctor, bearing in mind that last week I was late in doing so, nada paid the price in pain and lack of sleep. He even wrote it down on the whiteboard for a later carer to see.
When Carer Ty arrived, he rang the Doctors for an appointment for the infection to be seen quicker this time. I got an appointment for 6th January. About 15 days’ time, that’ll help me with the urine agony, won’t it?

Spent many hours on updating the Tuesday blog, at least five! Before getting it done. Accident and mistake-ridden, I’m sure. All to the accompaniment of the blasts of tap-tapping and bang-banging with either sawing or drilling noises supplied by the blocks the smart-alecky, insensitive, unsympathetic, toffee-nosed, self-important, naff, noisy nasty man, from the flat above on the 13th floor?

The pains, the noises from him above, and my still tripping to the wet room regularly. All, shattering my concentration.

Carer Ty arrived. He got the appointment with the doctor booked for the 6th of January, and he wrote the details on the whiteboard.

Eventually, I got the updated Tuesday blog posted to WordPress. (Well into the afternoon now!)

The pains seem to be easing a smidgeon from the innards. Not, I hasten to add, from Anne Gyna, she was in the full crippling, agonising, concentration-destroying form!

gave another blast of thudding and knocking; just to keep me on my toes. But it was a shorter session this time. Phew!

Sorry, I said that… just gave a little, almost musical again a blast of mechanical abbellimenti, with tempo and rubato. Once again, it didn’t last too long, but he was putting plenty of effort into it. I do hope that he hasn’t broken his hammer or chopped his chopper off, and that was the reason for his sudden silence. Or had too much of the Single Malt Whiskey and fell over, cracking his head against one of his train engine models.

Better get summat to eat then.
Got settled to watch the TV and eat the meal off the tray on my fulsome belly.

Carer Cheeky Charly Arrived. In a perky mood as per, bless her. Fed me the medicine, tablets and capsules. Soon off again on hare rounds.
The meal was tasty enough even when not so warm. The vegan bacon from Asda was a bit better than the others I’ve tried. But their Sourdough rolls (Cobs to us Nottinghamians!) were pretty tasteless. Hence a Flavour Rating of 6.5/10.

while watching TV. I was having an odd dream, something about frustrations, involving me working in a giant office complex. Couldn’t get out of the building…

But I was rescued. When woken up by arriving. He soon got the medications sorted out. The old Anne Gyna was still giving me stick, so he gave me two extra Paracetamol. He gave me some clues on marinating, we had a mini-chinwag, and Richard checked the taps and stove, then emptied the NWWB (Nocturnal-Wee-Wee-Bucket) for me; bless him.

Was not too keen on letting me get to sleep, so I put the TV on. That helped. I nodded off as the first round of adverts came on.
And, not so many waking-ups overnight. No more than about ten or so, as I recall things. I managed another weird dream. On a country lane, nighttime… and in my old Diahatsu Fourtrack; lost. For some reason, I started walking and whistled to the car, which followed me… vaguely recall going into a caravan with a radio playing ‘Onward Christian Soldiers… and finding dead bodies that turned out to be mannequins?

Evening all!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

I REGRET I’M NOT VERY WELL TODAY. THE ANNE GYNA TABLETS, ALONG WITH THE MONTHS PRESCRIPTIONS, HAVE NOT BEEN RECEIVED OR FETCHED (As you can read in the Ode above, my love).

HAD CARER RICHARD NOT GONE OFF SICK, I’M CERTAIN THAT HE WOULD HAVE SPOTTED THE PROBLEM AND SORTED THIS OUT.
I’m not up to coping with computing. The constant noise from the imbecile dwelling above me and the Cataract, Glaucoma eyes worsening
. The big thing is the Angina pain from the lack of tablets; this is also constant. The months’ prescriptions were, I was informed by a Carer, coming Friday – then Saturday; it’s now Sunday, no chance of getting any today. Today, they are coming tomorrow, on Monday. Tuesday, I’ve got an appointment with two different nurses, one DVT and another, can’t remember what department she is from… possibly the Mental Health hospital, but I’m guessing here.

PLEASE FORGIVE THE LACK OF CONTENT. TUESDAY WILL BE THE SAME, WITH THE APPOINTMENTS I’VE GOT TO GO TO.
I can zoom in on CorelDraw and Word, so will try to put the Ode, HC Log and Nottingham News Snippets in. For any photos, I’ll just not have the time to doctor or comment much on any. Cheers.

Early morning shots.
Health Check Log
.
Egyptian Cotton shirt.
Alright then, made in China cotton.
Hehehe!.
No concentration.
Carer Ty told me I’d been given the wrong tablets this morning; I was given the evening doses! No wonder I feel so bad. What with no Omeprazole, now I’ve taken too much Warfarin, and the level is already too high!

The only thing that’s keeping me going at this moment, is that France are losing to Argentina – not that I like it, anyway. France made a comeback in the second half and ended at 3-3 in extra time.  Then on to penalties to decide. Argentina won 4-2. I should have felt sorry for France’s Mbappé, with three goals in a world cup final and ended up on the losing side. But I didn’t.

I’ll get something to eat; I’ve got a potato in the crockpot. I’ll see what’s left in the fridge and freezer to have with it, not that I’m hungry with the Angina perpetually performing its pain-giving. If it’s cooked (the potato, not the pain). I might try to bake the slices in the oven. Oh, Ann Gyna ain’t half giving me some grief! Things are not good!

A well-seasoned spud in the pan. I would have had this if I didn’t forget to turn the slow cooker on.
.
Last bag of cheese curls instead. Humph!

.
Bit of a mist coming on.

.
The odd-looking bag of BBQ flavouring filled three of the food containers.
I put a lot of the seasoning into the beans.
But couldn’t really taste anything BBQish?.
SHAME! Taste: 7/10.

They have my support, at least!
How come he avoided prison?

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

05:20hrs: I woke; well, I wasn’t asleep really, just the odd fitful half-dose, with my rear end hanging off the cushion out of the c1966. charity shop bought, second-hand, wincingly grotty, beige coloured, not working, crumb-covered from the nocturnal nibblings, itch-making, uncomfortable, virus-breeding, easy-to-fall-out-of, recliner. .
A bad night again for sleeping.
I was so tied last night I felt sure that my bosky would force me to get some respite and rest in the dorm of sleep.
But, No!.
My friendly, compassionate neighbour above had seen to that. Two gays now, of constant banging, ta[[ing, drilling, clunking, with very elite respite; I hoped to get to sleep early, but that was a no chancer, as he started giving the hammer a bashing. Fair enough, he gave his last mechanical concerto just after ten o’clock, but I was on edge after so many days and hours of putting up with it, and I feared he may start again at any time.
He is making some things to give to the children he likes to support and visit, for Christmas, I believe.

I usually get his banging away every day of the year from Herbert (Nickname). But the last two days have been horrendously noisy for him. Doing my health no good. Even the Carers and Nurse Hristina heard him tap-tapping away relentlessly.
More so now that I’ve no Omeprazole medications to counter the pains from Anne Gyna. It seems that when the Doctor told me to double the dosages of the caps;e, she somehow forgot to tell the chemist! It got slowly worse, and no chance of getting any. Might call 111 later.
Had poor not gone sick, this would not have happened, I’m sure. It’s Richard that controls the Prescriptions. Still, excellent news on that situation; they tell me that Richard will be returning to work on Monday. I hope he’s not coming back too soon; as much as I am pleased about it, I hope he is not returning too early and gets himself poorly again. Crossed fingers!

Let’s assess the problems I’ve had to endure these last few days: or should I?

Maybe best not to…

Go on, then; I’ll make a list on CorelDraw and see how it reads. (Perusing engaged) Perusing ended)

Not nice, is it? But self-pity is not the answer! Mind you, I don’t know what the answer is?
I’ve got a little muddled up here. Things may be out-of-chronological timing from here onwards.
Sorry. The stress and pain from Anne Gyna are getting to me.
This photo is, I think, the first one I took this morning.

When I was brewing my first mug of Glengettie tea. I put the milk in and got blotches of manky milk floaters in the mug. Humph!
Threw the milk away and tried the semi-skimmed – same again? Threw that carton away. rinded the bottle and box and got them in the waste bag. Tried the last box of milk, and it seems okay. Another of the mysteries of Woodthorpe Court, with the hobgoblins, spectres, gnomai, phantasms, ghosts, the grotesque succubae, extraterrestrials, ectoplasms, spirits, or the Fata Morganas, that have been sent to taunt, irritate and terminate my already limited saneness of mind?

I got the health Checks tended to. (Ann Gyna is going to be a bother here; She’s getting more and more painful!

The results, as decreed by the NHS analyser, put me in the Hypertension – Red One Zone. But, so close to being in the High-Normal pink. So that’ll do me.

I see I’ve put the photo above in with the second lot of pictures I’d taken as well. Rather sad, but Anne Gyna has got my mind all over the place now.
When I get this done, I’m going to ring 111 and ask for advice.

He said, forgetting all about doing it afterwards.

I espied in these house shot photos that the frost and bits of snow were spread around liberally.
But you’ll notice the richest house on the block (Last house photo).
That will either be the richest family in Sherwood; who can afford to heat the attic room?

Or an efficient drug dealer den.
Specifically, a cannabis growing factory, with e plants being hidden in the loft and the heating on 23/7.

I wonder if they have rerouted the electricity from next door? Well, you never know! I can’t remember taking the sky one.
But that’s not unusual.

My concentration is well-shot now. No notes on the memory pad from here on. Anne Gyna was stirring again.

The beloved neighbour of mine was nowhere near as noisy as the last two days. I don’t think it was my responding to every single noise he made over about three hours by banging back on the tall bookcase cabinet; every time it started tap-tapping, banging or knocking with copied noises with Metal Mickey.
But after around 02:30 hours, things went strangely quiet on the Western Front. Hehehe! He’s probably gone to deliver some of his creations to his children and friends.

, came. Kara took the washing and returned it, putting them away for me ♥.

I went to get something to eat. After a look at what food options I had, I decided on Cottage pie, rosti potatoes, cobs and BBQ sauce. I got settled, the TV on, and took the first bite of the evening meal… Carer Cheeky Charlie arrived to give me the medications. No Omeprazole, of course, and this was the reason for the pains in my chest that had been lingering all day long and getting worse the longer I went without any pain relief from Ailment 19 – Anne Gyna! Charly gave me two extra Paracetamol tablets and Took the waste bag with her as she left for the chute.
I ate the by-now nearly cold meal and still enjoyed it. Flavour-Rating 7/10.

While watching TV. Woke an hour or so later, took a wee-wee, getting bad again. Washed the pots and returned to watch the end of the film; it had about 5 minutes to run
Woke up as the screen credits for the end of the film were showing. Tsk!

And Carer Cheeky Charlie returned to give me the Peptac and check on the taps and stove. I sent to make a brew of Glengettie. Decided to take some evening shots from the kitchenette window.

The first effort was taken hanging out of the window straight down on Chestnut Way, the road and the car park. What looked like a fire engine, or stretched limousine, was, in fact, it was a normal car speeding out of the complex. I hope it wasn’t one being stolen!

A wide view of the horison and lights was taken next.
Not one of my better efforts.

The last photo was taken as I returned to the front room...
Completely forgot about the mug of Glengettie I’d just made.
The TV had been left on, and taking the photo purposely in the dark to ass a bit of mystery to it, I managed to get a .

Settled down and . Moments later, this caught me out somewhat: By what must have been the longest-lasting ever  . I had to retrieve the leg from over the arm of the £300, second-hand shop bought nine years ago, c1966, discomfiting, alarmingly beige-coloured, crumb-containing, TV remote hiding, not working recliner.

By when I got up in the morning, I’d sprung awake at least a dozen times and had taken five wee-wees. Advice for Whippersnappers: Sleep is not easy when one wants it, but becomes rife when one doesn’t want it.
Oh, and be prepared to be accompanied in your slumber… or rather, to be awoken from your slumber by ailment 13: each and every night!

Evening all!

04:30hrs: I woke wanting a wee-wee, passed it, and had to go to the . A smidgen messy, but no pain and no hæmatorrhœa.
I cleaned up but had already made plans for the day while seated on the throne. I shall get the sorted out as soon as I’ve finished doing the Health Checks, and then I’ll get the medicationalisationings done.  Owzat then? Me making plans, blimey!

Off to the computer. No tea, no biscuits, no depression, no, and I do believe I may have been humming the Shadows Stars fell on Stockton tune to myself!

Not the result I was hoping for; a rather high Hypertension – Two, close to the (Call 999) stage Three. I blame and all his extra long all day, and noisier-than-ever bursts of clangs, clanks, Tap-tapping, knocking and drilling yesterday for this! Thanks mate!

I did some Pinteresting when I’d done the Health Checks and updated the Thursday blog. I seemed to be doing well this morning the were not playing me up too much – but that was a silly thing for me to say; they can go offline in an instant, and the brain no longer understands the broken messages, and anything can happen then! Wish I’d keep me gob-shut!

The computer was put into sleep mode and off to get them done. I’d taken the camera in with me and took a snap of the legs after I’d stripped off; the one on the right is after the session was completed… And I’d heroically, bravely, boldly and stupidly used you-know-who to get the long diabetic socks on. Yes, I’d utilised the mocking, fearsome, finger bruising, cutting and ripping green goddess known as ! And came out of the battle with only a squashed ! And a rather large was gone into!

The shaving produced only two tiny nicks on the neck. Teggie cleaning did go badly, though. Another lump had detached itself from the left bicuspid and double molar; the blood flowed, and that took me some time to stop. Thus, started! This is because of the Warfarin INR level is high, at 4.4. (3.5 is the target) That’s why the DVT clinic has reduced the dosage again.

Germolened, Germoloided, and oiled the ear holes. And guess what?
, That ignorant slobbovitch from the flat up above kicked off with his banging and knocking again!
I’d had enough to contend with yesterday, over 12 hours of it, and just had to bounce back some similar noises to inform him of the danger he was in.
They were tap-tappings, and I hit the top of the high bookcase with Metal Mickeys’ plastic handle on the hard wooden shelves. Trying to imitate the same amount of bangs (18), I counted.
This did no good, and a few minutes later, they kicked off again. Louder this time, I could clearly hear them without my hearing aids in.
I returned a volley of bangs around the top of the bookcase cabinet, and I kept it up for a few moments. And waited, stick in hand, for the reply… There were many more taps and bangs, but they were all a lot quieter, so fair enough. They stopped after a few minutes. He’s probably going out to see his favourite youngsters with his pressies? I’m dreading the self-centred, impolite, insensitive, disrespectful, snobbish, haughty, pompous, pretentious, uppity, scoffing, contumelious, smart-alecky, ineffable crud-nut coming back.

Got carried away there, sorry…

Was beginning to get a smidgen worse as I exited the wet room – Smelling all nice and fresh, the smell of the medications wafting up my nose. I went into the junk room to select the day clothes… and…
! As I was reaching at full tilt to get the jumper from the clothes racking,  presented me with one heck of an . Short & sharp, but it had over, and I fell into the clothes and slid gently to the floor! Breaking a few clothes hangers in the process and landing on the right knee, which did not please .
The hobble on my hands and knees out into the hallway, into the front room, and the struggle to get myself upright using the weight of the recliner took a long time, but I did it. How things were going, a .
I was not hurting, apart from . But that was nothing to do with the tumble.
I soon recovered, and I made my way to the kitchenette to get the kettle on to make a brew of Glengettie.

The red line on the horizon caught my attention, and I went for the Lumix camera. It was misty, so not the best of conditions, but it still looked good to me.
Then I took a shot of the bottom field with the frost still not melted. There were many seagulls about circling and threatening, zooming low. Had they seen a rat, cat or lone dog that they often make a meal of? I missed them all in the photo but caught some a few minutes later.
Took a photo of the drug-dealers house street. You can see which it is by the lack of frost and snow on the roof; no doubt they are growing cannabis or whatever in the loft, hence it being the only house with the attic being heated?

Took another shot of the horizon.

Then one of the Winwood Heights car parking on Chestnut way. Oh... I caught some of the seagulls on their breakfast safari in this one. Hehehe!
I made up some waste bags. The nice gentleman in the flat above me offered some accompaniment for me.
This time the tap-tapping was almost musical? The uncommunicative: laconic, taciturn, aloof, Laodicean, reticent, stoical, unruffled, equanimous, unclubbable, unforthcoming, stand-offish, unapproachable, haughty chap, was producing some good stuff, I thought.
A piacere, which, considering he was only using what sounded like a sledgehammer and mallet (Maybe a nail hammer as well),  was pretty impressive. I was just getting into it, and he stopped.

I must go on the web to try to find some cartoons to use over the next few days. I may have to stop suddenly. For I have the Amazon deliveries that are due today, and they are currently (0335hrs) being given an ETA of twixt 03:40 > 0640hrs. Which possibly means it will be here by 22:00hrs or tomorrow.

Weary, tired, computer off.

Woke me up. Issued Peptac, checked taps and stove. Had a mini-natter. Took bags And amazon boxes with her.

Woke up by the kind, caring, sympathetic noisy  Git-in-the-flat-above, Herbert. Knock, knocking for a while.

Woke me up. Meds issued. Mini natter enjoyed.

21:45hrs: Woke up to some strange different noises from the Management protected and defended, unneighbourly, superior-natured Gentleman in the flat above. Not sure what caused them, a sort of chugging sound?

22:10hrs: Ah, that’s better, back to his regulation mode of tap-tapping, with the odd clunk thrown in for good measure.

I kept trying to fall asleep again but ended up turning on the TV. Ah, that did it! Zzz!

01:30hrs: With a jerk, jump and shock! Not the foggiest idea what had caused this rude awakening? but it buggered me up, and I spent the next four hours or so desperately trying to get back to sleep – No chance until about 05:00hrs. Off into bliss!

05:20hrs: I more or less erupted into wakefulness.
I was half over the edge of the cushion on the second-hand, £300, charity shop bought, incommodious, crumb-retaining, microorganism-microbe producing, gungy, moth-eaten, beige-coloured, non-working, bacillus encouraging,  Haemorrhoid Harold testing, c1968 recliner.
For this, I blame the nightmare I was having, the slippery materialed new dressing gown I had on… and I might as well blame as well. Oh, and myself, I suppose!
.

Although, is yet another possible (definite) reason for my poorlier than it should be, health. Nicknamed Herbert’s real name is John, I think, the protected from criticism, imperviable to criticism, animadversion or condemnations. A superior acting gentleman,  urchin. An untouchable, pompous, arrogant elitist!. He’s not a nice person to those he’s making life a misery for with his constant everyday noise-making. Made invulnerable and defended by those in control of the Independent Living Organisation. I pray I do not meet him face to face ever again… I’ve never ever lost control physically… yet! Doing so could well see me off – but he is seeing me off slowly with his grinding, tap-tapping, drillings and knockings every single day! Such a supercilious sod.

I think there’s just a minimal iota of an idea, that he may be getting to me?... Hehehe!

04:00hrs: I woke up with a jump and start and immediately knew I was in need of an urgent wee-wee. By the time I’d risen and caught my balance, was joined by an even more pressing need for the .
Grabbed Metal Micky and tumbled my way to the wet room. Dropped the stick, tore open the fessing gown, whipped down the jammie bottoms and tore the PP (Protection Pants) in the process of getting in position before the overly-eager evacuation started of its own accord.
I thought that Little Inchie was giving some CMD (Cessational Micturitional) after dribbling. But on inspection, I found the .
The tube of Hydrocortisone cream in the wet room was virtually empty. So I nipped to the medicine drawer in the kitchen and got another tube.
I got back to the WC and went through the usual painful, teeth-gritting routine of applying the aforesaid ointment.
As I put the resealed tube back in the box, I noticed what I thought to be a use-by date on it. So, fetched the spyglass to read it…

Oh, Heckithump! The date was November 2021 on it! I must have used them in the wrong order
. What an absolutely unquestionable than I already knew I was!
Now I have to explain things to , and hope he can get me another prescription from the Doctor for me.

I had, while sitting on the , got the idea that I was going to get some cleaning up done in the kitchen. But my morale and willpower had sunken, and I got on the computer to get the Saturday blog updated and sent off.
I forgot all about having a shave and shower; Doreen Dementia had toyed with me again. Never gave washing and shaving a thought. Now I’m involved in an addiction to my blogging again. I can’t see myself stopping to get a shower and shave now. More chance of Putin apologising to the world and stopping the war!

Took some photographicalisations of the beautiful, if cold morning views from the kitchenette window.

Despite the freezing cold weather, I later bravely took a picture of the bottom field across from the car park. The now ease melting now.

A brave dog walker or two appeared later.
The dogs were lapping up the weather. I think the clear air of the frost makes it easier for them to trail the scents of other dogs they pick up? The two, who were having a sniffing party didn’t stop wagging their tails. Just thought I’d mention it, like.

Got the blog updated and sent it off to WordPress.

Then back to the . Ah, that was easier! No bleeding from the , I’m glad to report.

I got the growths coming from the new potatoes removed and got them in the crock-pot.
Flavoured with balsamic vinegar, Ben’s Hickory Liquid Smoke, and sea salt.
Which gives the water in this photograph a red hue.
Then, I de-eyed two baking potatoes ready to use later.
They can go in the oven to be baked… providing I remember, of course. (I didn’t)
This depends on Dementia Doreen’s frame of mind, my not falling asleep on the computer chair, and if I get any mind-Blanks. Or, of course, if Putin decides to attack with his missiles.
Arrived, by which time my mind was all over the place. Got the medications done, had a natter, and he took the waste bags with him to the chute for me.

Not the foggiest idea what happened over the next few hours.
But I had done some work on this blog as the brain re-engaged.

I’d also opened the Christmas present from Jane & Pete that they left me yesterday.
A lovely woolly hat, a nice shade of maroon, I think.
Still not feeling so good now; distant might be the word.

Arrived. We had a chat and laughed. She took the biscuits from the giant shortcake box and found some tubs to put half of them in, leaving the other bag unopened.
Remembered to give her a choice of Christmas pressie.
Must get some more bottles in
.
Made up the ode of the day and patched together a graphic on CorelDraw.

Again, I’m not certain what happened for several hours.
Woke up in the recliner feeling unsettled and bemused. I stayed there, even after noticing that I had still not had a wash and shave… That’s not me usually.

Many hours later, after having a few minutes of sleep, then waking and worrying about anything I could think of or dream up, I rose from £300, bought eight years ago from the second-hand shop, Harold Haemorrhoid testing, repugnantly beige-coloured, crumb containing, virus-breeding, acne-giving, rickety, itch-producing, none-working recliner.

Finding that while I was supposedly having old man naps, Carers had called? I even wrote this on the memory notepad. (Can’t remember them calling or making the notes?).
, and had been.
These are worrying. I believe they are getting to me more and more. What if something important was said or arranged during the sessions? How do I know
? I must put these on the list of things to tell the MH nurse.

Yet, I felt pretty fair when I last woke up. And got myself a meal made, although scarily, I do not remember actually cooking it. The photo of the meal triggered memories of enjoying it – feet up on a chair, tray on my knees… Oh, dear! I even found a score for the flavour rating in the pad. 802/10!

I washed the pots, took a painful reluctant wee-wee, had a wash, got into the jammies, and sat down to watch the TV. A Star Trek film… to which I promptly fell asleep when the first set of adverts came on.

Arrived. It was nice to see him again. Sorted the medications, and we had a natter. Richard checked the taps and stove. The lad looked tired. He took the waste bag on the way out for me.

Had a wee-wee (Still reluctant), and I got my head down in a serious search for proper sleep. And I got it at long last. I think I must have had an unninterupted good six hours! Dream-filled mind you, wish I could remember what they were about.

Morning all!

Woke at 07:20ish hrs: After what must have been one of the worst nights ever, for the repetitive nodding-off and jarringly springing waking again, minutes later!
Pains from and the bladder side of the stomach. This had me a smidgeon worried!
announced the arrival of , who seemed up for it, until the yawning began. He’s struggling to get sleep the same as I am. poor lad.
Richard got the medications given and went to check the non-prescription drawer for out-of-date products. Which resulted in two, I say two 15l carrier bags of stuff to throw away! He’s a good lad to me!
I had to nip into the wet room for the third wee-wee of the morning. The precious ones were flowing decently; this one was back to having to force things out and getting only a sprinkling… but this time with a difference. The stink was the worst I’ve ever smelt in 76 years of weeing! It was repugnant!
Not that I understand much about it, but I got the idea that now the flowing was starting again, the old stored liquid in the bladder may have been being forced out?
I mentioned it to Richard, who smiled and said I know. I smelt it and heard you cursing about it, talking to yourself! It really annoyed you didn’t it? I’ve never heard you swear so much! He was spot-on the button with his comment. Hehe!
I really thought the urine infection was on its way back.
Richard departed with the two bags of out-of-date medications and two bags of general waste with him for me. Richard even made me a brew of tea! He may call on me for the late check visit but was not sure. I hope he does, he always does his best to cheer me up and have a smile or two, and that’s precious! However tired he is.

As I got back to get the spud in the slow cooker, Herbert, my noisy neighbour above, started his bang-banging. I wonder what he’s making today?
I got to drinking the mug of tea that Richard made for me and gave me a good shake. Thus I spilt the mug of tea… she’s been so kind lately as well, but she caught me out this time. I swore, cleaned up the mess and made another one.
I took these shots of the view from the kitchen window while waiting for the kettle to boil again.

The top one had the moon just disappearing from view on the horizon. Why it came out so dark. I know not.

The second one was a mystery to me? How that one came out so light is another mystery to me!.

The third one came put as it looked to the eyes. The bottom field with the housing at the back, no wonder the frost, according to the computer, was -2°c!

The last one was another disappointment. I tried to brighten it a bit, but I ended up with a white sky, and still, the houses were unclear? .
started off next. But this didn’t bother me too much because the pains from the bladder seemed to be lessening. What’s going on in there?
Herbert went into another bout of almost musical banging about. I think he dropped a sledgehammer at one time. Hope he’s not injured himself at all.

It took me a long time, but I got the Tuesday blog updated and sent off to WordPress. Then, during an hours-worth run of wee-wee taking, I got the Pinteresting of some photos done.
WordPress Template preparing next. That went well. Then made a start on this blog.
arrived but did not press the door chime. I pointed this out to him, and we had a laugh about it. Made my point that I could have been using the bucket and needed to know when someone was about to come in to give myself time to shout not to come in yet. Still, a nice lad. We had a little natter and a laugh.

Ah, well, back up to Stage Two Red Hypertension again. Can’t win ’em all, can you? Well, I can’t. Hehe! It’ll be lower tomorrow, just you see! EQ told me, that he is rarely wrong.

Was getting noisy again. This time I replied with a clout of two of my own on the top of the high bookcase, but only the same amount of bangs and thuds that he’s sent down to me over the next few minutes. Not that it stopped his banging about, of course. Thud, clunk…

announced the arrival of . She told me the fire alarm was going off, but I could not hear it in the flat.
She issued the medications, and I asked her to check the taps for me on leaving. But I wouldn’t let her go until she told me the fire alarm had finished.
we took this photo of an engine sown below outside. Others arrived later.
The alarm was still ringing ten minutes later. A live one, mayhap, this time?
Carolynne and I went out into the flats’ lobby. I could hear the alarm going out there. I opened the door a bit, and both of us could smell burning!
I told her to come back into the flat until the alarm stopped. Which she did.
As we were both coming in, she said the alarm had stopped. Off she went. I hope the lifts were working again for her; I imagine they would have been turned back on now the alarm had stopped.

The temperature now showing is minus 1°c. I wonder why it keeps changing from Celsius to Fahrenheit?  Hello, it’s just changed to a snow warning icon?

There’s scum, and there is Scum. The lousy inhuman SCUM that can do this without checking or getting help, should be hung! Then again, I truly think that Parole Board members who free convicted killers to kill again should be hung as well.
I wonder what the shitbag’s reasons were? In a stolen car? No insurance? No licence? Wanted on a warrant? Drink driving? Or maybe all of these things.
I bet the judge lets them off with a dangerous driving charge.
Some smart-arsed lawyer will earn his money defending them and conning the condemnable judges in which we are supposed to have faith and belief. Until your daughter is killed by them again, as the overpaid pathetic Parole Board sets them free early on licence… Grrr!

Better get something to eat, then. Oh, I’ll check to see if any new figures have come through for Covid for Nottingham first. Aha, got to these numbers through the Nottingham Evening Post’s links. Not sure of the period it covers, but is the latest one on it.

Hello, hello, hello!
and . Is this not a Boll-Weevil I have on my finger?
Gawd Blimey, please say no; I don’t want an infestation of them again!
This one was on the draining board in the kitchen. I shall keep my eyes peeled while making the meal for any more of the little blighters! Oh, please, no!

Oh, heck, I missed these pictures I took during the day.

The top one looks like late afternoon.

The middle one this morning?

Well, I think it was. Maybe, perhaps, possibly, mayhaps, presumably. in all likelihood and possibility, taking all things into consideration, it’s likely that I may be right or wrong…

The evening and last one, I think I took whilst  (I’m almost sure) was here with the fire engine viewing.

Of course, it could have been anytime, really.

This time, I must get the food prepped. A simple fayre for a simpleton fella! Cottage pie, the slow-cooker cooked for wight-hours big potato, with liquid smoke added to the spud, and BBQ sauce to the cottage pie. I don’t ask a lot... I don’t get much, either. Hahaha! But I did enjoy this dishful and the following Vegan Soya lemon yoghourts.

I then launched into mission-impossible mode! Trying to get to sleep and stay asleep. It was a bridge too far, an extremely difficult, nay, impossible, unattainable, forlorn, unexcogitable, hopeless task! I got the pots washed, and checks were done.

Within minutes of getting settled in the £300, used, second-hand shop bought nine years ago, c1966, discomfiting, alarmingly Kari-beige coloured, crumb containing, TV remote hiding, not working recliner, I floated off into what I thought was going to be, a deep sleep.

A few minutes later, I woke up calmly. (No jerking a jumping at all!) That was the end of my kipping!
My body was telling me I needed sleep. But, it was not to be.
I even put the TV on in hopes of the averts helping me to drop off. It didn’t help!
I lay there hoping, praying and swearing to myself, for Gawd knows how many hours.
Then around 07:10hrs in the morning, rang out and almost reluctantly, I limped to the door to let in.

HUMPH!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

I got my head down around 04:00hrs. The customary wee-wee was far less painful this morning. Just before 08:00hrs, rang out and came in. The poor thing looked done in. I felt so sorry for him and not a little guilty for taking up his time. But he won’t be anything but reliable & conscientious.
I think I babbled on a bit and confused him at first, so schtummed the nattering a tad. He soon got the medications sorted. I appreciate having him call; I love his double-yawns! (Hehe!) Soon got the medications sorted for me. Checked the flat for anything left on or dangerous and gave me the all-clear.
Richard gave me a belated Calls for the week of listings.

I think he may be calling again; according to the list, I have a total of five from Meridian Care today.
One of them is for ‘Shadowing’ – for 45 minutes. I’m sure that Meridian’s Tina explained what this meant to me, but even at the time, I seem to remember thinking to myself, ‘I’m not going to remember that!” I was right. Oh, it’s for 75 minutes, innit?
Three-quarters of an hour ‘Shadowing’… the mind boggles.
A call came in. It was from the Coppice Hospital. It was a reminder of tomorrow’s mental assessment. I mentioned that my carer would be coming with me, and the problems we have had in finding the location of the area we need to go in.

She said: straight in by the bollards and go right; it’s a dead end. Put a note on Richard’s pad about it.

Next: arrived. All done in ten minutes. He went on his mobile as I was talking to him, so I shut up. Usual plonk chosen in thanks.

Next; . They went well; wait for this… There was not a single cut shaving! (Fair enough, I did bang my head when I dropped a tube of Germolene later on when I cleared the floor cabinet top! All the others fell this side of the WC, but the Germolene bounced behind it. Hence I have a pretty red mark on my head)

The feet and legs were looking rather pale again. And the ankle ulcer had transmogrified yet again.

Next, The Meridian domestic lady, Denise, arrived. She soon had the Hoover out on the job. I asked her if she could check to see if my laundry was ready downstairs for me, so I could get the heavy dressing gown on, as I was feeling a little cold now without it on. Denise went down and returned with my bag of laundry. The clothes had not been folded.

They were all squashed together. She took them out and hung them for me on the clothing racks and hangers. Bless her. Nice gal.

CorelDrawing next to see if I could find a cartoon to amend and use.
(I believe I’ve missed things off of for an hour or two. I did take a break and .

Made an order for Asda for next Monday… or Tuesday.

A deep, body-insisting kip.
Arrived. We had a mini-natter. She chose one of the Kaparrberg Cyder with strawberry & Lime cans as part of her treats. I mention this so I just may remember to ask her what it was like when she came again.

Arrived. H & D Check done. I was deep in sleep at the time, and fear much of what took place is a bit hazy now. We spoke of the trip to the hospitably that he has kindly agreed to go with me (Costly, Richard knackering, but worth every penny to save have him with me) for the Mental Assessment to try to find out exactly which form of Doreen’s Dementia I have.
It seems that there are many different types that can be identified and treated differently in hopes of slowing down the varmint Doreen.

I recall walking to the door with Richard and then asking him something. But question and answer seemed to have departed company with my brain?

Zzzz!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

An odd night’s sleep. A different style of waking ups. Not so many, and I woke more gently. But struggled to get back to sleep, so lost a bit of the benefit of getting some sleep in.  Somehow being banged or moved was not what kept waking me up. No idea what did.

I was deep in sleep when woke me up. This unchallenged diamond had me feeling so much better within seconds. Got the medications sorted out and listened to my tales of Woe over the problems with farcical trip to the Doctors and the way things have developed since. Had he not left the note on the whiteboard reminding me about booking in at the Doctor, I may well not have done.
mate!

I made three visits to the in about an hour. Apart from bashing poor old each time (He is so much bigger this morning), the other similarity in all three sessions was large rabbit pellets. I’ve not been eating much; with the infection, do you think that might be the reason?

Got the computer on and commenced making mistake after error and getting mind blanks into the bargain in my updating of the Sunday blog. I stopped and made a start on the

Another bad set of results, Humph!

Chimed, and on came the highly desirable, sweet, kind patient Warfarin DVT Nurse Hristina.
I was feeling a smidge low with all the cock-ups I’d been making on the Saturday blog; her kindness cheered me up a smidge. (Doing well today in this. first Richard and now Hristina) She listened to my tale of the infection, getting on the wrong bus etc., before and while taking the blood. Bless her.

Fire hours later, I got the mistake-ridden blog posted off.

Then Liberty-Global Virgin Media went down Again!

LIBERTY-GLOBAL
Who bought, & destroyed Virgin Media.
The $126m salaried Mt Fries makes the decisions!
But can we, the suffering customers, really complain?
Let’s face the facts, Fries, the number-crunching, smoke & Mirrors, man.
The financial wizard who plays with numbers and gets them to show what he wants them to show. What will impress his boss?
While we, the poor stupid customers, can’t even leave the company due to Fries, ingenious leaving fees and convoluted process needed.
But I bear the man no ill will.
(Well, maybe just Knob-Rot, Black Death or Palsy, nothing serious.)

A call came in. They do that sometimes) it esd from the Sherrington Park Medical Practise.
The receptionist was calling with my new Warfarin dosage. That was quick! I wrote them down and made a list, and stuck it on the cover of the Meridian Social Carers folder.

Spur of the moment job here. I went to the fridge to see what was available for a nibble, but the answer was very little. So I made an Iceland order, which to my amazement, would be delivered in the morning twixt 06>08:00hrs. Ordering: Potatoes (bag for Richard & for me), baking spuds (bag for Richard & for me), Part-baked cobs (bag for Richard & for me),
For Richard: BBW burgers, Starbucks coffee.
For me: Veg & Gravy pie, kitchen towels, sliced cobs, & spring water.
Now we’ll see if I can wake up in time for the delivery. Hehehe!

Arrived. We got the meds sorted out and had a mini-natter, Jodie, confirmed that Richard would be going with me to the hospital on Thursday. (That’s good news; I’ll ask him to order a taxi for us.) Selected a treat in thanks, and she took the waste bag to the chute on her way out.

I continued with the blog for a few more hours. Then thought I’d better close down and get my head down.

Chimed out. Who is this at 22:00hrs, I thought? I stood up painfully (It’s always painful to get up since the urine infection started) and cautiously went to the door. I was flabbergasted! It was , I truly thought I’d had a mind-blank or time-lapse, and it must be morning already!
Richard was doing a late-night safety check. To ensure nothing had been left on that shouldn’t have been, Taps, lights etc.
He confirmed that he would be going with me to the hospital on Thursday. I asked him to order a taxi, and he said he would. We had a natter, and off on his rounds, he went. I could not give him an alcoholic drinkie as he was working, but he chose a Lychee juice from the fridge. Left, saying he would collect the bag later in the morning on his usual medicationing call; fair enough.

After a time spent making mistakes on the blog, I decided to have something to eat. But the Vegan Mince Pie was out of date. ! So, I had a Vegan Pastry Slice, made up some gravy and had this with some part-baked mini-cobs. Didn’t taste too bad at all. Flavour: 702/10.
Zzzz!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

All night long, wee-weeing, most often with less than a minute in between! Every one painful, but barely a trickle came out: Compared to yesterday evening and this morning, were poles apart, directly opposed to each other! At least I did have a good morning on Monday, and I got some sleep in. It was the rest of the day’s events that went all pear-shaped on me.

I gave up the early hours of trying to get to sleep. There were a few occasions when, by the time that I got back in the second-hand, £300, charity shop bought, crumb-retaining, microorganism-microbe producing, grungy, pukin  gungy, moth-eaten, beige-coloured, non-working, bacillus encouraging, incommodious, grungy, Haemorrhoid Harold testing, c1968 moth-eaten, pukingly-beige-coloured, non-working, bacillus encouraging, incommodious, Haemorrhoid Harold testing, recliner, I had to get up again for another 2 fluid ounces worth of weeing! If that much!
It was driving me crazy.
The computer stood there, tempting me to get on it. But the way I felt, there was no way I could concentrate.

Then the feeling of cold and shivering-like sensations came over me. I don’t think I was sweating; it felt more like some Herbert walking over my grave? Then as I was typing this in the morning, well, late afternoon, I realised I must have gone on about this dilemma when doing the updating of the Tuesday blog. So decided that repetition is not a good idea. It may result in a reduced the huge, vast number of followers and readers of my blog. And they are both such nice people.

Again, the only things I can recall are what was written in the memory notepad. So it’s unlikely to be one of my more detailed dairies, sorry.
Although some bits are clearish in the grey cells. Esther’s visit to do the laundry and overcharge me again. The Evening Carer, Carolynne, my, leaving two taps running!  And my burning the meal.
But at least up to now, the wee-weeings were a lot less than yesterday and this morning. Still, next to nothing coming out, mind you.

One thing that didn’t change, was my feeling so cold all day. Brrr!

I took the extra clothing off and replaced it with other heavy-duty gear.
Started composing the ode to last night’s farce. I took me hours & hours. Most of it was spent correcting errors.

Took these views from the kitchenette window.
One, the bottom was of the car park on Chestnut Way, in the block of flats.

Where I’m feeling so sorry for missen.
No help

with sorting out things I cannot read from the Coppice Hospital. Now this new bug or whatever it is.

Hey-Ho!

I did eventually get the Ode done.
But now I don’t think it is any good.

Depressed again… but nothing like on Tuesday.

It must be Sods Law: Just when I needed the calmingness and help of my friend and, ; He gets put onto another site.
He helps by going the extra mile, which is comforting, and much-appreciated help.
Especially now that Doreen Dementia is getting at me more and more. I feel a bit cheated in a way. All self-pity I think. You could not believe the things I could no longer do for myself. not to mention ,     ,

I’d better not forget, , and the potentially lethal killer; .
they can have me over in a flash if I bang them in a . Even the can cause problems when I start to panic, rushing back inside to check if the lights, taps or the stove has been left on.
Ah, that reminds me! This very day, I left two hot water taps running. Burnt the shoulder and left the potato in the crockpot for eight hours. I’m not diving up[ on this, its that late in the morning again, I’ll do a rescue job on them -microwave, for breakfast.

The morning carer failed to issue the Omeprazoles. (Anne Gyna) Not hod fault, it was mine. I was nattering away giving him my sob story from yesterday. While he was prepping of the medications.
I’d usually hold back on the nattering until the meds are sorted. But not this morning. I was so uptight with bladder trouble and no sleep for two nights.

Why am I up now? It’s nearly 02:00hrs already

I’ll stop now and try to rescue the food.
Thankfully, I lost two hours of whatever I did.

The evening Carer arrived. Checked the taps for me; not many of them do that.

Then, the ankle ulcer started to smart a bit. But it didn’t look inflamed?
Then everything stopped again.

EVERY TWO MINUTES, WEE-WEES RETURNED AND STAYED ALL NIGHT UNTIL AROUND 09:00HRS IN THE MORNING. THEY THEN GOT WORSE!!!
HERE ARE SOME PHOTOS FOUND ON THE FILE.
Mud Slide in Car Park.
Long story, but I’m. struggling to type.
Three days without sleep now..
Not feeling good. the wee-weeing continues.
I pass one; they are all so painful…
And two minutes later need another.
Took an extra Furosemide, hoping it.
may help me to pass.

No Help for Cataract or Mental Hospital Appointments Came

THAT’S MY LOT! – SO TIRED!
ONE POORLY IN-PAIN PEASANT HERE

HEHEHE!

Sleep, repose, siesta, catnap, cwsg, shut-eye, in the arms of sweet Morpheus, inertia, schlafen, state of stupefaction, or whatever you want to call it: Was a most welcome visitor last night! An estimated snoozing period of around 6 hours was enjoyed. Grrreat! Brilliant!

Mind you, the actual awakening frit and shook me, I have to say. 05:00hrs, one of, if not the most violent yet reinvigorating, returns to consciousness I’ve had since waking up in the hospital after the stroke.

I have got bruises to prove it!

Oh, and two bottles of spring water, the torch and the eye drops were knocked off of the ottoman. Hehe!

After using the Porcelain Throne: Which incidentally was one of the best sessions in months, No bleeding, not a sign of pain, no mess, no repugnant pongs, and zero effort or input was required from yours truly, either! Grrreat! Brilliant!

I began to question if I was not still with Sweet Morpheus and dreaming.

Made a mug of Thompson’s Punjana and onto the computer. Not the tea on the computer, me! Thought I’d just clarify that.

Went onto the WordPress comments and had two come in… yes, twice the usual. Both are amusing, one from Tim Price (see above Ode). Another one from Professor Billum. I hope to find the time to make an ode about that one too.

I got the Sunday blog updated and made myself another mug of tea, this time Glenghetti. Took a wee-wee and got the ablutions done.
Yet another (I know, it’s worrying, innit?) By flipping Lords of , Not a single nick shaving! Only a couple of harmless dropsies and one heading of the control box. Got the medications done, not needing to treat , , or the or !!! Grrreat! Brilliant! Fantastic! Fair enough, I did make the teeth and gums bleed a bit, but the only thing really bothersome was missing the eye with the drops. Not that it tastes too bad when it dribbles down into my mouth, discolouring my white (Now brown & White) moustache en route, but are they good for me? Haha!

Emailed the blog link, and did some Pinteresting… And then I fear all the good luck I’d been having crumbled… Nothing on the notepad or in the brain until announced the arrival of . Everything is patchy from here on until about 18:20 hours. I feel Richard and I spoke after getting the medications sorted. Treats in thanks, and vaguely think I went to the waste chute room with Richard? We spoke near the lift (elevator) doors; I’m almost certain, and I may have given him a man-hug?

This is as far as the notes and memory of that bit go. Yep,
I obviously got the sonw, cause the graph had been updated, so I got it copied from Excel.

I think that Asda sent a message about short items and substitutes; think I deleted it cause it didn’t matter or something.

I was going into and out of awareness.

Reckon I got through to ILC Deana, cause it says on the calendar that she is calling to see me tomorrow.

Things are so puzzling. Seems even worse after waking up so sharp-minded as well.

I cannot remember doing these graphics at all. No idea when things came back into sense again for sure.
But the notepad next page was found with some notes on it? But mostly undecipherable. I took a photo of what it looked like. My typing skills were well bad when I tried to get back onto blogging.
I found some photos on the SD card. But it’s a guess as to what and where some of them were from and of.
Amazingly some memories returned when I saw the pictures.

Remembered (now) taking these.
Doing the ablutions. I was
fine then, but still can’t
recall taking them?

Oh, yes. The cooking tongues arrived.
Now I remember why I took these, despite
forgetting later on. It was the size of
the box compared to the contents!

A wet mystery.

Asda delivery. Treats table new
lines for Christmas added.

Whoopsiedangleplop
Got the food in the oven and veg
in the saucepan. Forgot about these.
Burnt the hell out of them!

About 18:20hrs, sounded, and in came . I was back to normal by then and feeling much more aware and alert.
We got the medications sorted out and had a mini-chinwag (Well, I did… Hehehe!) Treat in thanks, and off Jodie went. I can’t remember now if I locked the door or not… I’ll go and check. Nope, not locked. But it is now.

Chiselled the food out of the saucepan and got some fodder.
I had to do some resuscitation on the food to make it eatable.
However, the partially crushed Asda rolls were kind on the teeth.

Fungleturds!  Back to my waking up all the time.
