My body & brain seemed clumsier,
Concentrationless, forever making a blunder,
Concentration Conrad, trouble with the catheter…

But compared to Thursday, I was feeling chirpier,
Then, this morning, I turned into a grumbler,
The power supply died well before it got darker…
Life felt it was just too much hassle and bother,
I turned into a frustrated, dispirited, sad creature!
Everything went wrong, tormenting, crueller,
I got the power supply back within the hour,
I awaited life’s next unredeeming feature…
At this, I admit I felt a little perkier,
Why I felt ‘up’ is up for conjecture…
The colour swatches disappeared from CorelDraw,
The batteries expired in the Kodak camera,
Liberty-Global, Virgin Media…
Drove me to the point of hysteria!
Blackout! No internet, TV, Alarm help-caller…
Was it down, or did I make another blunder,
I called on my mobile to Warden Deana,
Asked if anyone else had lost their Virgin Media,
Many had, so I was in a confused megillah…
The computer came back on, I had a self-ponder,
So far behind now, a frustrated old blogger,
Hopes of catching up are less than minuscular,
I had to restart four-tim
es on the computer
,
Resigning in on all the sites, regular,

Then, once again, I lost the power…
I reset the box as a chuntering inveigher!
I hope I didn’t move the wrong relayer,
I exist in almost total disorder…
Now joined by my mental dyspraxia,
No socialisationing, so no clishmaclaver!
Life, to me, is a shyster, racketeer, & fraudster.

Reasons for this undetailed blog

1) I was so far behind with the blogging.
2) I lost the notebook page by tearing it off the pad to do another in a failed effort to save time. I have no reminder notes; I can only use my memory with hints from the photographs the computer allowed me to save.
3) Mind-Mangling-Malcolm, Seizure-Soaked-Sandra, Concentration-Crusher-Konrad.
4) After the third computer cleaning of the day (there were two more), I tried to save some CorelDraw rectangles to a file to save new things to the same name and then changed the name to suit the photo. Great idea, I thought. Three hours later, as I was saving the last one, which was saved, the eleven ones done earlier disappeared!
5). Depression Duncan Dawned.

Bit of blood mixed in the nocturnal bag?

Morning views.

My beloved tree copse. I’d love to have a hobble through it again. But…

Late evening view.

Beef in rich stout gravy. With added chopped red onions. Cooked in the microwave, using the new Heat & Eat vented box. Potato chunks cooked in the Air Fryer. Brown ready-sliced cobs and an expensive Pots & Co. Lemon & Lime Posset.
So naughty, but nice!

I found seven in ten minutes!
Ah, I’ve just found the eighth, a stud on his right boot!

Boy, did I sleep better? Yes, I did? Did you? Oh, yes!
I must stop talking to myself!

An even worse day today!
The Carer said this one was a 6 on the NHS scale.

To the wet room. The scab had come off the knee injury from when I took another tumble. The bottom of the leg had gone down a lot, but not the knee area

Constipation Conrad must have taken a vacation yesterday cause he’s back again. Arghh!

Got the computer on. And was doing nicely, I thought. Which for an hour or so, I was… Then…
When I tried to save the work done on CorelDraw, messages told me there was not enough memory to save the file. Try saving in a different location or with a different name.

I tried doing this several times but had no luck. I bet you are not surprised by that! Then, the message on the screen changed. I can’t recall exactly, but it said something like, “You are using memory while it is not there.” Remove as many unwanted files as you can, then try again.
 What a cock-up I made of this!
At one point, I stopped swearing, spitting, and howling and cried instead. But anger replaced the frustration. I tried all the earlier options again and deleted as much as possible.

I found an NHS folder and opened it; there was nothing in there, so I deleted it. Then, a file I could not recognise was empty as well. Gobblediclonk!
I turned of and restarted the computer, not expecting that the CorelDraw would have saved the working file, but it had, well, most of it. I tried saving it to another name in a different folder, and wallah, it saved. I was over the moon!

I TRIED TO UPLOAD FROM THE CORELDRAW FILES!
THEY HAD ALL DISAPPEARED!
I’d earlier updated the Labels file with one for each day of September and the WordPress Templates for the same period. Finding they had disappeared is when the tears flowed!

I also lost all of my photographs, puzzles, labels, WP items, and others I can’t recall. I keep realising when I go to open the non-existent items to use. There are no health check listings or appointment dates and times. I’ll find more later, I know it. I now have to start them all from scratch again. Grrr!
Boy was, am I miffed! What a pillock!

I then rang a computer repair place, well emailed them asking if they do home visits and roughly described my problems with the computer, and there are plenty of them.
Then, I tried a different one: The Computer Man. After using their website to email them, I discovered they are an amalgamation of computer engineers. They will contact me when they can. I might have been better off not using them. Ah, well, it’s too late now. Whoever answers first, I suppose.
Computing took me at least five times more time as I had to recreate lost items constantly. It was irritating.

I can’t get around to messages, comments, or WP Reader. And with my short-term memory, I keep forgetting the new locations of what bits I have started to recreate and need to use.

Just look at this later catheter bag emptying colour. It seems more like the colour of weak tea!
The problems mount up. I wish some help would.

I’ve spent endless hours trying to get going again, but it’s so slow, and I’m getting knackered now. 23:00hrs.

I did get a bit of excitement.

I saw the smoke on the horison and took the above shots.

I’m tired out, hungry, dirty from not showering & shaving, depressed, frustrated and plain fed-up!

I’m confused as well. I’ll see if I can stay awake enough to go on the WP Reader and comments. I did, but I didn’t really enjoy having to rush things. It limits the pleasure. There is some fine poetry and photography today.

Took a decent shot of the early evening sky.

This is the window I forgot to close and hit my head on when I was prepping a meal.

Then, I took this terrible shot later while checking how the cooking was progressing.

.
A liver, bacon and mash ready-made meal. Bacon and some instant mash were added.

I didn’t, but I got two of them – Hehe!

Yet another frustrating day.
I’ve had enough, I have to say,
Lost files, more time will be lost, thrown away,
Computer, health problems, depressionally,
More battles physically & mentally,
Mind you, the scabs fell off of my knee!
The one thing in which I was lucky.

I wish you all a day of peace and be hassle-free!

Doesn’t yer know that today started so well that I was questioning my own insanity? What a start to this prospectively enlightening, trouble-free, and confidence-returning day! Then I climbed out of the hospital-provided bed, caught the catheter pouch tube against the metal anti-fall bars, and without any hassle or leaks occurring! Fan-bloody-tastic!
The colour of the urine was classified by Carer Richard later, as a seven on the NHS rating colour card. That was a bit of a downer for me. Yet, I found myself whistling, well, I say whistling. I was trying to whistle; it was not easy with me losing another half-tooth to the land of rot and yesterday. Still, I laughed it off; even when Little Inchy’s fungal lesion started to bleed, I kept up my pecker… Honestly!

I’m off to visit the Porcelain Throne and have a stand-up wash and shave. I must remember to ask Warden Deana about getting the shower head mended. Having failed on the Porcelain, I started to have a shave, and I gave myself a little cut.
I put the Kodak Tim in my gown pocket and tried to take a selfie shot of how little the nick was.
The steam from the water blurred it. Shame! That double chin was embarrassing as well!
I then put on the Protection Pants in record time with far less hassle and pain than I usually do. By gum, today is going so well!
Feeling a little perky, I turned to leave the wet room and involuntary shoulder-charged the edge of the door! The response was a bit of bad language and a dip in perkiness!

I took a photo of the morning view from the kitchenette window and put the kettle on to make a brew of Thompson’s Punjana tea.
Then, I emptied all of the waste bins into one and placed it near the door for the Carer to pick up for me.
As I turned to hobble back to the kitchen to make my tea, guess what?  I against the towel dryer. Now, I was beginning to feel a little riled, ruffled, ratty, almost to the point of getting hacked off.

Carer Richard arrived, and I forgot to ask him yp put my diabetic socks on. Thus, I’ve been having activities from the vicious ‘s via  .
I wish someone could tell me why, although I expect I may know. It’s with. Of course, I could well be wrong about that. You know, I’m becoming something of an expert in getting things wrong these last few years. No effort on my behalf is needed.
I was well behind on getting this blog started. So I knuckled down while I knew there were no carers to call and did a pretty lousy job on CorelDraw, and then WordPress kept changing the font on its own accord. I spent about two hours trying to find a cure. I did some risky, easy-to-forget and lose where I was amended in the Settings and Appearance options. But although it accepted my different font in the editing sections, it did not change them on the blog editor. Sometimes, it would be on the Preview. Back to the editor and the old font was back.
Nearing losing my marbles with the frustration, I thought I’d try a different font… and the door chime rang out.
! It was a man and woman (Amelia) from Specsavers checking the eyes. It was, I suppose, perfectly understandable that I forgot they were coming.

Between , supported by   it’s no surprise. They came in, barely hiding their disgust at the state of the room with the bed in it. Their superiority oozed from them as they went through the selling parts of their mission. Q & A’s. Sense of humourless. Prospective future Oligarchs, I think. Anyway, it seems I am cataract-free in both eyes. They think it must be the Glaucoma that’s causing the problems.

Arrived, full of beans. Gave her some nibbles and a drinkie for her kids. No medications were needed; I was too confused to take any after the WordPressing farce. Which is what I returned to after she rushed off on her duties.
It took another four hours of fighting to get the font I wanted to work on. I failed. Now I can’t remember what I’d done to try and get it accepted in the first place. Had enough of this.  Frustration Frank visited.

Now, the persistent painful got as bad and persistent as she’s ever been. Carer Chris came, and I’m blown if I can recall much of the visit. I certainly didn’t make any notes on the pad, which indicates to me, that I possibly had some or most likely a or two.

Tired out now, but still messing about trying to sort out the changing font issue. Sod it, I made a brew of Glengettie tea and enjoyed it. Oh, I’ve just realised I’ve not had a Porcelain Evacuation all day!

If a need for food develops, then I might have an evacuation. I have more eyes and shoots to remove from the potatoes before putting them in the oven.
I took these pictures on the left earlier and forgot about them; it could happen to anyone, I say.

But the odds are it’ll be me!

Gorgeous clouds.

Then, I had another go at this blog. I’m not certain what’s happened or happening now.
But I was brought back to reality a smidge when the bloody, costly WordPress package started changing the font again. The obvious reason for this? Me! I doubt I am capable any more!
Amazingly, I grafted away without struggling to see as bad as I usually do in the evenings. I spent hours, most of the time, changing the font back and making errors. Eventually, I gave up. I had to. It’s now 01:45 in the morning.  I’m drained and tired out, and I just smelt the burning potatoes in the oven! Another oven tray to throw away. More potatoes to de-scab and cook again. Which I did, smilingly, happily, contentedly… I speak LYINGLY Hehehe!
I did take these final photos. I hope to stay awake long enough to snap a photo of the potato meal. That is if I don’t get a  or fall asleep and burn these potatoes. I do live well!

I forgot, Warden Deana called with my change for the foot lady and told me that poor Josie was not the woman we all know in the home she went to after her fall.

Back in the morning… well, it’s morning already, innit.
I made a meal for the third time, and I got to eat instead of burn it.
Nothing fancy, but I was hungry, so I enjoyed it.

Oh, flipping heck, pickled walnuts and groats! Just look at the colour of the pouch contents this morning! So, so dark! That was my fault, methinks. I told Carer Richard I’d try to take my diabetic socks off and fit the night bag myself, as he was not up to it. The lad still struggling with his poor legs. But, me being me, I could not get the diabetic socks off, and I fell asleep and didn’t put the night bag on. Life is a struggle for both of us. I was so glad to see him, though. So I left the socks on. As soon as I got on my feet, the electric shocks started from the ankles, and they have been on and off all day, as of 15:00hrs. Cartilages Chloe and Carole are taking it, in turn, to give way, as well. Carer Kimberley came, and I took some Kodak Tim shots. When the gal departed, I got the SD card out to load the shots onto the computer…
!

Only the open photo was on the card. Was that the urine pouch? I must have taken about ten more.
I got the card back in Kodak Tim and took a couple more, but they were not on the card. I swapped cards, tried again, and had no luck. Now I was almost in tears! Shit!

I lost interest after that. I turned on the TV to watch the football, only to see Ukraine lose to Romania. Then France won… Nothing is going right at all!

Then, a series of events played out. I can’t even get a wash and shower because I forgot to ask Carer Kimberly to take my socks off. Depression kicked in then. So, I had to try something to get back online, so I decided to have a stand-up wash and shave, but I didn’t enjoy it.
What utter frustrations!

Back in a bit… hello, the intercom is chiming out. I could see a nurse at the door, let her in, and started thinking of the things I wanted to tell and ask her: the electric shocks from the ankles, the cartilage, and the toothache. The doorbell chimed, and when I got to open the door, the nurse said she was looking for a lady. She realised she had come in the wrong block and needed Winchester Court, not Woodthorpe Court. My sinking spirits sank even further.
Off to the wet room.

I’m back and in a slightly teeny-weeny, microscopic, tinyish,  itsy-bitsy, almost imperceptible bit of a better mood. Why? I’m not quite sure. It possibly has something to do with cleaning my teeth and shaving without the slightest hint of a cut or bleeding.

Late on, Carer Chris arrived. He looked at the camera for me, used his phone camera to take a shot of the evening clouds, and emailed the picture to me. I got it on here Tuesday morning.
He’s caught the essence of the night sky very well. Not that I was jealous, of course. Chris had cleaned through the mechanics of the camera for me.

I made the evening meal and then tried using Kodak Tim again. It was hit-and-miss. The meal photo went through (Yee-Ha!), but my sky shot did not reach the SD card? Lamburger cobs and fries. 8.8/10.
