It took me ages to get to sleep again after the last Carer call for Christopher. When I did float off, I kept waking up repeatedly. Cragnangles!
But last night’s coughing, sore throat and sneezing had disappeared. Thankfully.
I pottered about and got the waste bags sorted for collection.
Again, the evacuation seemed as solid as a rock.
I didn’t even try to force it; I left it to nature and counted the cracks in the ceiling. Still no motion. So, I got on the crossword puzzling book. I was getting brave, but the expected anticipated torpedo needed some encouragement. Which hurt a bit, but things flowed.

Red ski in the morning, Shepherds Warning?

I trapped my finger in the cupboard door, pulled my hand away, and knocked over the kitchen towel and its holder. I spent an hour or so trying to get it glued back together. If I’m gentle with it from now on, it might last for a while.
Back to the wet room and deposited myself on the Throne.
The relief of the last visit a short while ago was forgotten about. had returned with a vengeance! Tsk!
As I left the room, taking care not to walk into the doorframe this time, chimed and in walked .

A, or maybe it may have been a; I can’t recall Shaquille leaving, yet a glimmer of me in the hallway saying cheers lingers at the back of my mind. So, maybe I can after all.

called on me. I remember all of this visit… I think. Kara booked the two hospital lifts for me. Ah, maybe I can’t recall all of it! I seem to believe that Kara rang the Doctors for me, but I have no idea why and am not sure she did. Things are not good in the head’s hard drive today, not that they have been for many months. Kara also checked the two emails and text I was struggling with.
Checked the dates on the food in the fridge for me; that’s a great help. Sometimes Kara finds out-of-date items that, with my failing eyesight, I cannot read, the print is too small, and her cotton socks. ♥.
I shot ominously dark clouds, which could be seen again, as last week, lurking about up in the sky.
I missed this Kodak Tim shot earlier. Or did I? I’ll have a look now. Yes, I missed it off. It’s a pleasant-looking view of local homes near the flats. Three murder spots have been in view this year already. Two muggings were on the cut-through between the houses. I had no idea what happened last night, but I saw the blue flashings from the police cars and ambulance. It’s all clear this morning, though. I’ll keep an eye on the news to get some snippets.
Time to get some food down me now.
I’ll need to pay close attention to this meal. It has the same base as yesterday’s. The vegetables bake for 25 minutes. Then, I must add the vegetarian sausages 15 minutes later, no, 10 minutes later. When the 20  minutes were up, I put the root-vegetable potatoes in the microwave for five minutes, as if I knew what I was talking about!
I really cocked it up in the morning. I was checking the SD card and thought what a great job I’d done taking a picture of the second vegetarian meal in two days, effort. Minutes later, I got the car in the slot… but the snap of the meal had done a runner! Or, conversely, I may have hit the delete button by mistake. This now seems more likely, as Peripheral Neuropathy, making the fingers numb to touch, is getting more frequent and lasting longer. (Mind you, it comes in handy when one burns a finger or hand on the oven; one doesn’t feel the pain! Until I smell the burning and take a look – then the brain gets the message from the warped eyes, and I do feel the belated pain. I’ve noticed this. Mistakes on the keyboard have got me into many a pickle this last week. Well, this week, as well!

TTFNski!

The highlights started early today… well, no, not early, ’cause I got up the latest I’d done in months. That was due to my elephantine-like wobbly-flabby stomached body getting used to the new bed and me rising with the usual complaints from & giving me some what-for pain-wise. The absence of bother was a delightful change. (Hence the smile in the selfie taken, Hehehe!) because I’d just had the best ever sleep in that bed for weeks. Six wonderful hours! And to boot, as far as I remember, only hit me twice in all that time.
As I was faffing about trying to be kind to the cartilages as I stood up, rang out from the door chime. It was the J Sainsbury order arriving. I got the night bag off as quickly as I could and made my way, limping down the hallway to the door.
As the kind driver put the things into the carriers I’d had ready, I bent to pick up the first one, had a mini , that only lasted seconds, and took it into the kitchen.
I returned and just as gave way, a bigger, more virile joined in and I began falling to the floor, hitting my head on the wall as I did so. The pain from was terrible, but it would have been much worse if the driver, chappie,
had not been nippy enough to lunge forward and press my body up against the wall. Literally caught and saved me from having a proper tumble, bless him. I want to send J.S. a message later, thanking him. The day was a slow one at times, with panicky moments thrown in amidst the confusion.

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Dark urine again.

My first effort at shooting the morning view.
I did a better job on the second one.

The waste bags were amalgamated

The early morning J. Sainsbury order arrives. As explained above in the intro. I set about sorting the food delivered. But it was not easy.
Got the Carer & Nurses nibble box filled.Chips, soda water and bleach.
Tomatoes, milk, Leicester cheese, lemon-flavoured yoghourts, and some Jamaican Patties.

Earlier on, the wee-wee flow into the bag was very little for some reason; it rapidly changed.

Carer Maryham arrived. She was full of the joys of spring and gave me one of her dances. Hehe! I enjoyed it so much that I forgot to ask her to put on my socks.

Hours of gruelling, gruelling because my concentration was minimal; thus, mistakes were being made. Hard to believe, I know. Haha!

DVT nurse and the love of my life, Hristina, arrived and delicately took the blood samples.

I made a mammoth mess of making up the templates for the WordPress blogs!
WHAT A PICKLE I GOT MYSELF INTO!
I even wrote down each day’s date and wording for the month before I started.
Certain that I would not make the same mistakes this month, I pressed on. With just three days left to do, I almost discovered I’d got the wrong dates on three earlier sone onesSwear? Me? YES!
It cost me another hour sorting them out and putting them into chronological order amidst the cursing and teeth-grinding (which is painful with the state of my few teeth left!) and depression brewing.

Carer Kara arrived; thank heavens she was helping with the finances, but whipped through them, and she got the kitchen and wet room floor cleaned up for me as well. She also checked the catheter and got the socks onto my legs. ♥

The catheter pouch had filled up again.

The afternoon sky.

The front car park.

Filled really quick this time.

I made the meal of the day.
Smashing!

I made an Asda order for next week, and Carer Kimberley arrived. Took the diabetic socks off of my legs. A night catheter bag was attached.

04:30hrs: I bounded lively out of the second-hand ex-hospital bed, yodelling with joy, got down, and did 100 press-ups. This was followed by 100 toe touches and some shadow-boxing for around 15 minutes or so… I suppose you know that the above is tommyrot, and  ? Well, the 04:30hrs bit is true. The truth? 04:30hrs; I was rudely awoken by giving me grief. I lay there after they’d stopped, all warm and snug. I decided to stay there for a while longer… But no! The innards then burst into a threateningly long, gassy rumble! No choice now; I had to get to the ASAP! Which took me a lot longer than it should have. Why? I’ll tell yer! Hehe!
I stubbed my toe on the bed leg in my haste. I swore briefly. Then dropped the
and the tube pulled and bled away, not to mention the pain (Oh, I did, sorry).
As I neared the , it became obvious that I was not going to get there quick enough for me to get the dressing gown and pants down in time!
! Tore the pants getting them down, and lifted the dressing gown up – else I’d never have made it. The evacuation, well it was the worst ever session, ever. Especially with some of it getting splashed onto me, the bowl, the lid and the floor. And wasn’t a quick one either. I felt as if someone was turning a tap on and off in my innards!
Then, of course, I had to clean the mess up, which took me about an hour, I think. Next, I medicationalised the tender areas. I olive-oiled ears, sprayed my eyes, and applied barrier cream. I Germolened and Germoloided the more delicate departments. I mopped the floor as a supposedly final gesture, not knowing I’d be back in there within minutes. Oh, yes, I’m so glad I haven’t passed on my genes and chronic luck to an offspring!

I made up the waste bags into one. And realised that I was still carrying the night pouch around with me. What an absolute plonker!
As I was about to go into the wet room with the intention of emptying the pouch, it was a saviour that I was where I was just outside the wet room door; an evacuation started immediately of its own accord this time. It was a rush and semi-panic again, but I did get here in time. With all the cleaning up from these two Trotsky Terence visits, I had two tubes from the toilet rolls I’d just put in the bag, and I finished another one here! Leaving the wet room, I was aware of the dangers of my habit of walking into the doorframe, so kept my good eye on the spacing, clever that I thought… …I tripped, banging the side of my mouth. Naturally, for me, anyway, I found afterwards that , and I had another broken tooth. Extra Codeines taken.

and Gragnagles! I got the computer on and was using CorelDraw, but the delete button stopped working on the keyboard! Then, the mousse scroller went on strike as well.
Being the confused creature I am, all I could think of doing was change the batteries in the keyboard and mouse, so I did. Nothing changed.
A Dark, Dank Depression came over me. Also, I think I had a Seizure. When I came out of it, I was on the bed?

I nervously tackle the computer again. It seemed to be working, not the delete button, but the mouse at least scrolled. stayed with me ever since. And so did , for another bash on the Throne. Not so bad this time, mind you, but had the first visit been like this, I would not have appreciated how bad it wasn’t… anyone following this cause I’m struggling. Hehehe!.

Arrived. She was coughing a bit still. She was kind enough to check the dates on the stuff in the fridge, not that there’s much left in there other than opened sauce jars, visitors’ drinkies, and the pasty I’ll have tonight. Either I’ve lost the photo, or I’m going mad.

The wee-wee is not coming so fast today. And I’ve been trying to drink more after the farcical, ridiculous, losing battle I had in the wet room. Humph!
Carer Kara came. Usual visit and Domestic today. I was so glad at last to get some help.
The gal set to cleaning the kitchen and wet room; both were in need, too!
Kara didn’t have time to do the Banking this visit. She’s a good gal. She said she’d look at something but couldn’t remember what. Tomorrow is when she calls. Bless her cotton socks.
I realised that I had made an . I took this photo this morning and forgot to put it in. Better late than wotsit? Haha!
I got some potato cubes from the freezer and got them sorted out, getting rid of those I could that had the dreaded eye roots in them. These were Sainsbury’s, too, not Asda (Walmart). They probably get them from the same place.
A late afternoon shot taken at great risk of knocking over the knife block (I’ve nowhere safer to put it) or catching my finger closing the window. Haha!
Very tasty!

I had mind wanderings, felt out of it, and experienced memory loss. For most of the day, I was in mental confusion. There were no scribbled memory notes on the pad, apart from the date and getting up time (although I thought I had been doing them).
Apart from Carer Joanne and I think Marie, then Christopher… even they may be wrong.
I did go to bed early, I think.
I’m afraid this is not much of a blog. I seem to have been in never-never-mind land for long periods, so I haven’t done any news snippets. Oh, Carer Chris pointed out that my clocks were showing the wrong time, an hour out, so I lost another hour. I’d forgotten to change them for the fifth year. Tsk! Sorry.

No recollection, but I took it, obviously.

Vaguely recall taking these from the kitchenette window of the miserable morning.

Must have intended to tell you a story of the medications, judging by this photo. Not the foggiest idea what, if anything happened. Although I woke with an aching ride shoulder this morning, so just maybe a tumble to doorframe charge?

I must have been in a rare with-it mode here.
I can’t remember prepping or cooking this nosh, but I noticed that I’d cleaned all the cooking utensils when taking the pots to be washed after eating it. No notepad, so no record of the score I gave it, but it went down well, that much I know. Haddock in batter, instant potato with cheese, tomatoes and garden peas. Ah, I remember now… Carer Chris had to help me with prepping the meal. I broke the can opener trying to get open the first can of peas. We found another can with a ring pull, that snapped off! Chris got the heavy-duty pliers bashed his way in, and peeled back the torn lid. Bits and pieces are coming back to me when I see some photos taken, others, I can’t even remember taking. Thanking you  .

Not sure when I took this one. Nice, though.

Took this Kodak Tim shot after washing the pots after the mini feast.

I was sure I’d gotten into the second-hand bed to settle, but I woke up back in the £300 second-hand shop purchased, c1966, welt-causing, uncomfortable, not-working, itch-inspirational, crumb-containing recliner. Then again, fantasy, reality, practicality, and mystery often merge together when I’m in this frustrating state of mind.

Hope things improve in the morning. (They did)

Woke and rose at 04:15hrs: After over five hours of kipping! Grrreat!  Took me a while to nod off, but I only had three, I think
And didn’t visit me once! But, as usual, when I moved, this time it was both & giving me grief, and it must have taken me five minutes to get to the wet room. More on that later.
The absolute worst thing to affect me was in the late afternoon, & launched an attack that I ended up surrendering to and gave up trying to do this blog. Defeated!
With the coughing and downfall of skin when the forehead. , I’m surprised I have any skin left on my head; it was falling off all day. Later I rang Sister Jane, and she and hubby Pete were not in good health at all. Jane’s cough sounded terrible. I’m worried about her now. As I moved to get the B17 tablets that Jane had told me had a
rsenic in them and told me not to use them, to read the label – I went down on one knee. Suddenly, I dropped the landline telephone. , I took a tumble when  gave way. I grappled my way back up on my feet to get to the landline; poor Jane was coughing away something wicked. So many people seem to have this ‘Lurgie’ thing this week. Several Carers, the nurse, the electrician… oh, and me. I hope it’s not another form of Covid, and HMG wants to keep it quiet, with the election coming up?
Much later, I tried again to get some blogging done. Well, I did a bit, but it was error-ridden and amazingly hard work, trying to
keep a clear head on the task.

Passed well, not a bad colour.

Concrete, mush, torpedo, gooey, nothing moved, wet and watery, squirty… Never the same twice in a row! You watch it now I’ve said thatHehe!

Kitchen view.

Back to the wet room. Not for the again, but to clean up Little Inchies bleeding, I caught the catheter tube closing the window. Talk about hurt! Cleaned it up and medicated things

On leaving the wet room, I saw the moon high in the sky. I thought this is worth photographicalisationing. But could I get a decent shot? No!
This is getting bad now. This time, as I was trying to get a decent shot, a , not only that but joined in as well. Then, after taking the sad pictures and closing the window… , I knocked the knife block off of the window ledge. The tip end of the cheese knife broke off when it hit the floor.

Naturally, these incidents didn’t phase or bother me in the slightest. I just laughed them off.

I made a brew of Glengettie and got the computer on to work on this blog. A new Caregiver arrived and Medicated me, put the diabetic soaks on for me, and had a little natter. What about escapes me now. Tsk!

I computed for it appears, for five hours, according to the clock, but not according to the work and progress not done on the blog. I may have suffered a   or maybe , but I recall nothing of this time whatsoever. The rot had set in.

called, and I bluffed my way through. I think, in fact, I did not stop talking to the poor gal. It would help if I could remember what she was talking about. I think I may have, possibly, conceivably mentioned the Lurgy because Joanne sounded like she had a sore throat… or did she?

I did continue on the blog, but it was a bit farcical. I’ll have to get u[ early in the morning so I can get a shave and shower before the Carer arrives, then get back on this Inchy blog. I’d taken some photos… I know this cause I found them on the SD card.
What amazing views.
Gorgeous.
Oh, how I’d love to recall the pleasure of taking them.
These two below, I took later.
I do recall taking these.

I won’t make a meal yet cause it’s close to the last Carer calling time. I’m a different being compared to the one I was hours ago. Struggling a bit here!

But I’m so glad I got the graphics and ode done early on.

Best nosh in a long time.

This Friday, the brain had its usual periods of hazy craziness, with intervals of it being floury. You know, messy, unable to sort out. Perhaps it might have been mini-seizures, I don’t know. Others are more aware of my actions when one is visiting than I am. A Carer had the heart to speak with me after being present when I departed spiritually from reality. Assuring me all that happened differently, I could or didn’t speak, but my mouth moved as if I was doing so? I kept doing things silently, some actions not being relevant to the situation, and I had no idea this was happening. I wouldn’t worry about it, at least. So glad to hear someone explain the unknown to me. Hehehe!

This was the first time I’d had a seizure when someone was here to see one. At least, I think it was.

The mail was delivered. I usually put it on the old DVD so Carer Kara can go through it when she comes the following week, but I can’t find it anywhere now.

The Diabetic socks arrived, all three packages, within an hour, each delivered by a different carrier. Photos are further down. Two were extra-long diabetic bamboo socks that looked fine. The bigger one was cotton socks that I ordered by mistake.
Mistake making? Me? Hard to believe! Hahaha!
I left the oven and hob on as well. The hot water faucet (tap) I let run cold… again.

Three electricians arrived to install the new fire alarms and reset the power box. That was mayhem with a capital M. At one point, they had to turn off the power, which caused me to semi-panic. I was scared that the panic alarm box, the internet, and the TV might not come back on again. The very patient electrician checked everything came back on alright; damned kind of him, too! Thank you! All working!
The Fire Alarm was somehow triggered in the flat. I sounded very soft and quiet to my hearing. To the others, the klaxon was driving mad. So, one good point in my being so deaf. Har-har! The brigade arrived and checked out the flat. One spoke to me and walked away. I’ve no idea what he said to me; he’d got his BA kit on. He was soon off after talking to the electricians; at least, I think he did.

Did Carer Victor’s Health Checks on his last call.
Made a decent nosh, much earlier than usual.

.
.
.
.
.
Was the Catheter’s nocturnal pouch was not very full? Then again, I’d not been sleeping for long. The NHS colour grading looked like a number four or five.

I rose from the c1968, tatty, scruffy, unkempt, uncomfortable, virus, microorganism, bug, bacterium, bacillus, germ, parasite-producing, and disease-fermenting, bought second-hand, eyesorely horrible, grungy beige-coloured, £300, charity shop bought, crumb-retaining, moth-eaten, non-working, nocturnal-crumb-ridden, itch-encouraging, incommodious, Haemorrhoid Harold testing, catheter tube yanking, recliner. With insisting on giving way several times, I hobbled almost comically to the wet room. The attempted evacuation was a wasted effort. I was thinking that at least for once, a rarity,   were not bleeding, and I was nearly caught out by collapsing, giving way, enough for a tumble. It should have been one, really, but I fell in the right direction and caught hold of the shower chair in time to stop myself from hitting the rather hard-floored deck.
Infected ankles and legs looked so much calmer this morning. I washed Little Inchy, Harold’s Hemorrhoids, dried them, and medicated them. Then, I creamed the on my forehead and arms. I sprayed the eye treatment on the lids and olive-oiled the earholes. I just remembered at the last minute that I’d not put the barrier cream on the tummy infection yet. So, I did! It’s hard work getting old, Haha!

I took the wet-room waste bag and amalgamated it with rubbish from the other two bins. Making two bags of waste, and took them to the front door.
The amazing blue-hued sky in this poor-quality photo I took from the kitchenette window is so pretty.
Although that’s not the word I wanted to use; it’ll do until I remember what it was. Mind-Blank here!

I got the laundry bag sorted. I must remember to ask someone to take it down for me later. Then, I double-checked that I had put in the wash capsule and softener. They were all present.

Blimus! The catheter day pouch had filled up quickly again. The colour looked very much healthier, too.
Bent down to empty the day pouch into the urine jug. As I was getting back upright… !
twinged into action. I was so surprised, with her being so kind to me lately. She hit me hard, and I took an extra Codeine 30g. She’s never hurt this bad before. But an hour or so later, the Codeine had done its job and had eased off. I’m so glad to report.

I scurried hobblingly back to the wet room . There was no doubt I made the right decision in rushing to get there. Whatever blockage stopped me from passing minutes ago, this time, was back in full charge of the procedure.
Wet but sticky, smelly and splashy! Cleaning things up took me a while.

I made a grand strong brew of Glengettie tea. Then, at long last, I got the computer on. No biscuits dunked. Was I getting more dedicated to the new diet? No, I let the drink go cold, getting into the blogging. Humph! A few hours later, I took a break. I needed it because I was fed up with making so many errors on the blog (grammatical and chronological).

I decided to open the socks that were delivered yesterday.
The cotton socks I wrongly ordered were a pack of 12 different-coloured socks. I must ask my brother-in-law Pete if he’d like to have them. They are long and warm. I’ll try to remember to ring and find out if he fancies them. Good quality they are.
The next pack contained 4 pairs of proper diabetic long socks. dark grey, I think. The Carer later put a pair of these on for me. Excellent fit, comfortable and warm.
The last pack included two pairs of knee-high bamboo socks. These looked far thinner and stretchier than those above, and they cost an awful lot more. I stored the socks, well, I say stored...

I took this snap of the late afternoon view with the sun and clouds. I am back on the blogging and have started creating the ode.

had once again filled up at a good rate of knots. Still a healthy colour, mind you.

I checked on the Asda order made for next week. To see if I needed anything taking off or adding to it. I took off three items and put a few on it. The original total was for £52.24. After toying with things, it now stands at £66.84!
When will I ever learn?

Another snap of the view of the sky. I went into one of my spells.
Can you see the bird, plane, or face as I did? Bearing in mind that is making me see double, a shadow of everything attached. So maybe you can’t see them. Hehe!

An early meal tonight.
Potato rostis, Dutch tomatoes, Anya potatoes, and caramelised pork sausages. With a sliced baguette. The Heinz tomato ketchup with pickle was well used. It went down well. I’m glad I remembered to eat early, thus avoiding the Carer calling just when I was starting to eat.

What’s wrong with the lower circle?
Fair enough, I can’t make out what it is.

Charged with murder and released on bail?
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

This physical and mental collapse every afternoon has gone on for three days now. No… Four!
Today, it came over me even earlier. My plan was to at least sit down, with a chance of nodding off; then, after Carer Kara helped me again, but she only had 10 minutes allowed for the visit. Bless her. Carer Helen made the last call, I was to get back to blogging again. I’d given up trying to sleep and was eating the meal when she arrived. Then, as the gal left, after medicating and taking off my diabetic socks from my legs, I went into a deep sleep, which didn’t last for long and was in patches. Every time I went into bliss, shortly one of the would unceremoniously burst me back awake. About 2 hours later, I gave up trying and started to potter about.
Anyway, I didn’t get back on the blog until around about 03:00hrs on Friday morning, and I had a mammoth task of catching up on it. Which I am currently in the process of doing, accompanied by the World Wide Hum, and a rattling coming from I know not where.
Better get on with it…

I carried the nocturnal pouch with me as I tried to remove it. I accidentally tugged the tube as I released the valve for emptying and immediately felt the warm, wet feeling of blood in the PPs! I got it cleaned up. Then I sorted out the waste bags into one, ready for collection, and placed them near the front door of the flat.
I took a snap of the morning view from the kitchenette. It’s not a good one, but it was fairly good for me. Is there a nice eeriness about it?
After an hour or so on CorelDraw, uploading and resizing the Kodak Tim pictures, an email from Sainsbury’s came in. I went to the wet room and utilised the ever-popular. Once again, the evacuation failed, and after much urging and inner pushing, I gave up. Knowing there was possibly a gigantic torpedo in the queue that may need some help seeing the light of the WC basin, I made and drank a drink of an ‘Ease-it-along sachet’.

The Caregiver arrived, Victor or Israel. I think I can’t read the name on the log. My memory is blank on this visit, so it could have been anyone.
An hour or so later, the J. Sainsbury order arrived. I did struggle a little getting the bags, one at a time, into the kitchen. Well, I did not struggle; I just took extra care not to catch the tubing in Little .
The bananas came all ready-bruised to save me the effort of dropping them, so it was kind of Sainsbury’s. I got some vegan Maryland cookies, passata sauce with Mediterranean vegetables, and drinks for the nurses and carers. I also got fresh fries; they may get cooked and tasted tonight, methinks. Maybe the Anya potatoes be eaten tomorrow? They are grown only on the Monarch’s farms. Hence, Lord Sainsbury is the only person allowed to sell them. (I’m full of useless snippets)
The fridge was now fullerer than ever! Ready meals, lemon curd yoghourts, potato rosis, the lemon curd dip pots on the bottom shelve? Gorgeous!
I got a big pack of the JO2 favourites for the treats shelf. They may last a week or more. The most popular of the drinkies on offer these are.
I also got a few of these pots of jelly in a new flavour. Not a good photo. (I’m good at doing these types, Hehe!) So you may not be able to read the label. They are… honestly, a Gin & Tonic Flavour, jelly! I can’t see these being well-liked. I wonder what they put in it to get the taste?

A little drizzle was spotted when I was cleaning the side of the cooker later on.
I took it through the kitchen window glass to try to catch the raindrops on the pane.

During the next half an hour, I got three parcels delivered.

The first was socks, three pairs, I think, of long diabetic ones, expensive ones, too! The second was socks, two pairs of thinner, longer diabetic socks. These were even more expensive, cost me a fortune. But I didn’t get the last two new pairs back from the laundry. They think someone half-inched my laundry and a new bag. I never saw any of them again. Humph!
The third delivery was socks. Six pairs of the wrong type. Hehe! I’d made a great cock-up, mistake, error
with this order. As Carer Kara found out and told me yesterday. I thought I’d ordered Diabetic Bamboo socks. Kara pointed out that they were cotton ones. Boing! But it was too late for me to cancel. So then I proceeded to make yet another  . I ordered one of the first two above while Kara watched to make sure I didn’t get it wrong again. After she’d gone, I  checked again on Amazon and found the cheaper, although still dear, bamboo socks. I believe I’d cancelled the first pairs and ordered the cheaper pairs instead – But no! I ordered two lots! I’ve not opened the packs yet; I’ll do that tomorrow. I feel like such a fool!
If anyone would like a 3-pack of gents long cotton socks.

I took a shot of the end car park this afternoon. Then the Fatigue and weariness, along with my body’s instruction to get some sleep, arrived.
I decided to get something to eat first after closing down the computer.
There were chips, beans, sausages, and a baguette. The JS baguette was too sweet for my liking and crumbled too easily.
As I got served up, the evening Carer Helen arrived. I’d not seen her for ages, I thought she’s left.
I planned to get a kip and then restart this blog. The best-laid plans of mice and men! Or, in Robert Burns’s original, “The best-laid schemes o’ mice an’ men / Gang aft a-gley.”
Not a chance of nodding off. I even tried the TV again, but no luck.

I moved into the bed. Just as the night before, I got settled, and the catheter night pouch was hanging down. I lit the torch on the overbed table and got into the bed.
I nodded off pretty quickly again. No idea how long for; it felt like five minutes, and then kicked off striking at will. Well, Inchy! I got up, which wasn’t easy at all. In fact, I was a bit worried about this new ailment trait.  kept stinging, then failing. Not all the time, but regularly enough.

By the time I’d got a drink of spring water, tripped over the tubing, and I’d taken this Kodak Tim photo of the moon or sun. Sun, surely? Was it this early yet? I think I may have made another chronologically here.
I know, but even a man of my extreme intelligence, quickness and clarity of mind, and amazingly reliable super-concentration powers can make the rare, occasional mistake. Ahem! had stopped bothering me. I’m sure it is worse electric shock-wise when I get into the bed, but why?

I got down in search of sleep again, this time back in the £300 second-hand shop purchased, c1966, welt-causing, uncomfortable, not-working, itch-inspirational, crumb-containing recliner. It didn’t help. As tired out as I felt, either or both the body and brain would not let me sleep!
The Gits!

Beats me, the car? The feet? The phone, yes.

The giving up in need of sleep arrived even earlier today. I was doing really well, considering the lack of sleep last night. (15 minutes) – I gave up trying and rose (02:00hrs) to visit the wet room. I washed, shaved and had a near-normal evacuation this morning.
But I was struggling to get my head together, although it cleared shortly afterwards. I was surprised at how well I was doing mentally and physically under the circumstances. Naturally, this was not to continue. I knew somehow that the ‘Big Fade
‘ was bound to fall sooner or later. I took a snap of the morning view.

The Asda order arrived; thank heavens I’ll not need another until Wednesday 28th (On order)
I sorted the waste bags. Later, Shaquille took them to the rubbish chute for me. That was kind of him.
The Asda order arrived.
This is a big one this time. Four items are missing, I’m glad there were, too! Well,  they were out of stock. While taking the carriers filled by the driver for me to the kitchen, Carer Shaquille arrived and got the others. After tending to my needs, off he trotted and I sorted the groceries out.
I’d got some drinks in for the bladder encouraging.
Buxton Spring water as usual. Baguettes and the potato cake rissoles,  rosis whichever they are called; I love the taste and flavour of these!
I got caramelised sausages, lemon desserts, and some Jerk Patties. I also had tomatoes and Frankfurters. I may be tired out, but I think I will eat well this week.
A ready-made meal feast!
Cumberland pies, Shepherd’s pie, sausage & mash, and, what I plan to have for today, a Toad in the Hole meal for two, it said on the box?
It was a challenge to get everything in the fridge. I tried various combinations to get all the fodder into the fridge.

As you can see, it wasn’t easy to do. Hehehe!

Although the freezer was filled, and I got all three breads and baguettes in alright, I’m just glad I forgot to order any chips and pasties because they would never have fit in. Haha!

Got on the computer and started with CorelDraw, putting on the SD cards photos from .
Then I went to the kitchen to get the kettle on. I made a brew, and then I went back to the computer, where I diligently stayed grafting away until   arrived. She didn’t have much time, but she checked my order for the diabetic socks from Amazon, and she found I’d ordered the wrong ones! Then she selected some proper bamboo socks, and put in an order for some of them. ETA tomorrow by 22:00hrs. I’ll be scared to try to sleep now, in case I miss them. You can’t win, can you? Well, I can’t.

Started feeling tired & weary again. I was about to save everything down ready to close down the computer, and a message from Norton came on the screen. Something like… the writing; “We have found 3,429 errors on your hard drive. Click here to repair”
The 3,439 number stayed in the memory, cause it frit me! So I clicked!
Well, the repair started, and 30 seconds later, Norton told me the Repairs were Completed. A restart would be needed. Not wanting to lose the work I had done, I tried to save the blog and CorelDraw work. But Windows also told me a restart.
So, I lost all my heart. The hours of work will all be lost and need to be done again in the morning. Humph!
I nervously pressed the restart.
Then, when it reloaded, Norton said I needed a Scan needed doing, so I did. It came out all clear.
After refusing several pricey and complicated, not fully understood offers of various route protectors and dark internet extras, I closed down windows.
I sat for a moment, ultra depressed at losing all the work, then…
THE BIG FADE FELL – AGAIN!
That was it. Once again, my body and mind told me to get some sleep, so I tried.
Carer Israel came, the laundry returned, and I put it away in the morning. Sleep was my main unfulfilled aim at the time. The Barrier cream was delivered at the same time.
The night shots taken of the view looked rather like the mood I was in. Glum, dark, depressed… Arrgh!

Several times today, I experienced moments of quietism, almost mysticism, involving quiet contemplation. On another day, I may have called them mind-blanks or PN Seizures. But not today! I think I enjoyed them. Not that I am aware of what they contained, but it is a sensation of, well, a degree of self-satisfaction and a rare understanding of things. No, I never felt an understanding of things before!
Of course, I can’t recall what they were. Tsk!
Hopefully, these little mental gems I write may help someone working in psychiatry, occupational therapy, Community Mental Health, or counselling glean whatever I’m waffling on about. They may kindly inform me of their findings afterwards. It would
be nice to know why I wrote them in the first place.
A plea for help, mayhap?

04:10hrs: The nocturnal catheter colour was much improved. Also, was much less than it has been.

A terrible photo of the morning view.

Mostly liquid sludge!

The right leg was looking good again. Of course, were hitting me throughout the day, but nothing as bad as they were when I was supposed to be sleeping. Every one of them woke me up (well, they would, I guess), but I soon nodded off again, awaiting the next one to arrive. The pain from them only lasted for a couple of seconds.

Carer arrived as I was starting to update the blog. Back to the blogging, photographs being uploaded from the … and…
The Pictures folder suddenly went into full-screen mode! I imagine I hit the wrong combination on the keyboard. () But there were no resize buttons on the tabs, and the arrows to resize were not working either. What a mess I got into trying to sort it out. I asked Google, copied down the procedure given, and followed it. Of course, it didn’t work.
I thought I must have copied it wrongly, so I tried again. The problem was that when I went to the picture window, it blocked out all the advice on the Google page! I checked the procedure and wrote it down more clearly. Then I tried again. No Luck!
I went back to Google and searched for other advice there. Many were too technical for me to understand.
I found one. To get to the list, I had to press the F button, scroll down to Size, and press Enter. Size was the first item on the list, but it was not highlighted, so I couldn’t get into it to follow the rest of the advice.
Then, I tried stab-in-the-dark procedures. I had no idea what I was doing, so I turned off the computer and restarted it, hoping things would be back to normal when rebooted. No! Oh, No, no, no!
I often wish that one could turn off life and reboot it to see if the body and mind might have reset themselves to default mode! Hehehe!
The flaming picture window opened in full mode again. Then, I realised that it was not in full mode before because, this time, it filled the screen entirely, thus revealing the bottom left option of closing the ‘Hide Folders’ button. I pressed it, and the screen became a smidgen smaller, allowing the bottom right seize arrow to be accessed—WUNDERBAR! I spent the rest of the day a bag of nerves in case I repeated the wrong key combination and did it again. The ticking eye and twitching of the lower lip started!
I was a b
ag of nerves!
So, another two hours plus was lost!

I went to make a brew of Glengettie, and the colouration of the lunchtime view was terrific.
Straight ahead.
Then, I took a shot of the Cannabis-Growers road.

As I returned to make the brew. And the state of the kitchen floor brought forth shame and guilt!
Flash Speed Mop utilised.
They are crap!
Mind you, they did pick up some of the dirt.
Hahaha!

Gorgeous afternoon clouds

Found this attached to an email.
What is it, please?

As it got a little later, I just couldn’t resist taking more snaps of the clouds.

I made a nosh, took a photo of it, got settled, and ate it. What happened to the photo that was not on the SD card is a mystery. Nothing new there!

I was well into the land of nod and without any of the awakenings, being kind to me! And left me alone, too. But the Carer came in to wake me instead. Hahaha! I was not compos-mentis and forgot to ask him to remove the socks and attach the nocturnal catheter pouch. I found out in the morning that I had very dark urine and an overflowing bag, and with the socks on, the shocks from both ankles kept waking me up. Humph!

The sky looked like it had been painted.
Bootiful!

.
The mudslide at the end of the car park.

Even I got this one. Haha!

What a magnificent view!

The came, and I got up and had a walk about; they lessen when so this.

Three last shots as the sunset fell.
Farewell!

All-over-the-placidness, lack of concentration, and mind wandering off more than staying with me were similar to yesterday. Rampant! I have lost the notepad with the reminders of the day’s events.
There is much the sameness, I suppose. Thank heavens I got the above selection sorted early because I could not have done it in the state I was in later on.
Things may or may not improve mentally or physically, but ‘It ain’t necessarily so!’
So, this will be short on detailed info, as the seizures and mind-blanks started later on. Sorry.

04:00hrs: The brain stuttered awake… well, mostly. How I got the glow onto this snap, I don’t know!

Veering towards the Trotsky Terence level.
The feet & tootsies looked better.
The medicationalisationings followed.
The shaving went well; there were only a few minor nicks. No bother.

Got in a tangle with the .

I went to the kitchen and enjoyed taking these snaps of these morning views.
The last one turned involuntarily into a work of art, or I was interfered with . Hehe! Does it look like a radar photo of an airport and city?

I got the computer on and started updating and getting photos onto CorelDraw and WordPress.

Another oddly-hued photo?

Contrails in the beautiful sky.

Taking an automated wee-wee. Hahaha!

Clouds to the left.
Clouds to the right (Of the kitchen window)

I got further muddled and had to make many amendments and corrections. Then, as if by magic, I found myself in the spare room, apparently searching for something. I didn’t find out what I was looking for, but I had a scout around in case I saw whatever it was, and it triggered the brain into action. It didn’t.

Later, when I went to investigate what to have for the daily meal, I had this wonderful view to photograph. This one is rather special. Gorgeous!

It could be Putin in heaven, I thought.
But plenty of others to pick from. Hehe!

A lot of blanks today.

But I did get the nosh pepped, cooked & photographed.
