04:00hrs: I rose from the depths of the bed and discovered I was being accompanied by a wind orchestra. The instruments playing the tunes were Reflux Rogers, a belching section, Rumpy-Rumpo from the rear end, and rasping-gasping accompaniment from the breathing department. I don’t know why, but this lasted over an hour. It’s a darned good job that I live on my own! The rear wind sounded bubbling as I got up – and hastily hobbled to the wet room to utilise the . The resulting evacuation was surprising for two reasons. One that, despite its exiting as dark green lumps, had no pain, and it disintegrated immediately after hitting the water. A quick counterattack from . No wonder I have so few readers. Hahaha!
My were tackled next. Being so early in the day, I dare not use the noisy shower for fear of waking the neighbours. I started with doing the teggies; what few I have left is becoming a delicate job. As I prepped the shaving tackle and collated it to allow me to shave without my spectacles, I decided to stop saving the top lip because I’ve always been cutting that area since I shaved off the tache. I’ll let it grow again; I bet it’ll be white this time. Of course, being me, my mind wandered onto another subject; ‘Will the computer work this morning’ arose in my mind. I was yanked from my thoughts as I cut above my top lip in three places with one stroke of the razor… Yes, I’d automatically started shaving around the mouth! It’s too late to worry. I’ll stop shaving it tomorrow, then. Hehe!
I was particularly harassed with myself because I only wanted to turn on the computer and check out CorelDraw, MW Word, and Excel. A good body scrub was enjoyed all the same. Then, I freshened up with aftershave to stop the bleeding and Brut Man Spray!
Then, the medicationings. They went as usual, applying the betamethasone cream to Little Inchies Fungal Lesion. Whor, & Argh!
I Phorpain Gelled both of the cartilages, Carole and Chloe. Arthur Itis was as good as gold this morning, and I didn’t medicate him. I did the bulging bouncy under the stomach flab area, forehead, underarms, and where I could reach to do it, on the ankles, and I put on the Acne and Ezxcema areas. Then I Germolened the new patch of pimples and spots on the outside of the right arm. Then, the pleasantest medication task was Germoloiding Harold’s Haemorrhoids. Then I faced the task of getting the fresh PPs on. Which can be a bit tricky, depending on how bad or good the Cartilage girls, leg ulcers, and Arthur Itis are on the day. Today, the only harrowing one was Cartilage Chloe… Getting my left leg lined up, the picker-upper in hand slid my rear-end into the corner so there was less chance of a tumble if I lost my balance; I was all readied. Getting the leg high enough to fit in the pants took about five tries. Getting the washed-day catheter pouch on was also relatively easy today. Much more of this, and I’ll be in danger of getting close to being contented—worrying that is, I’m not used to it. But, of course, I have yet to see how the computer goes, haven’t I? That’s another worry. But overall, the session went much better than usual. And this performance is needed every day!
Worra life! No wonder I’m depressed!

I titivated the kitchen surfaces that I could reach. I didn’t do anything silly or exerting, like move things about to clean any hidden areas. I blamed the computer and my wanting to get on it for this, Hehehe!
Then Carer, erm… damn it, forgot her name. Anyway, she remembered to put my socks on for me.

ON THE COMPUTER
A mixed bag of a performance today.
Things let me get some photos on the blog, but it refused to save others like it did two days ago. Potluck! But when I put the first ones on, did the top graphics load and save them all? I didn’t go into any Smug Modes, not with this computer.
This earlier shot was belatedly permitted to go on after refusing me on the first try?
Excel and Word opened, and I got the Health Checks on.
Later, I went to the balcony and took this shot to the left, catching the other balconies as I snapped it.
Next, I took a Kodak shot—a close-up of the nearby dwellings, catching the suspected loft drug houses.

Great balls of fire… look at the time already! What happened to the day… I seem to have blinked and lost four hours at the same time. Unreal! Ah, it was probably sneaking in again. Or, I suppose I could have drifted off while waiting for CorelDraw to save a graphic. It has been so slow today. It’s not that I want to push my luck; at least she has not crashed yet. She’s still cocking up the font manipulation, though.

It’s too late to start my meal because the carer may call anytime from now until 06:30 hrs—no, no, I mean 18:30 hrs. It depends on who it is, I think. Some have to come from other sites, so it’s understandable. I wish life was! I’ll wait until they have been, then get it cooked.

I hobbled out onto the balcony to take this shot of not the mudslide but the mud trickle. Hehe!

I’ll go on the WP Reader now.
Some great blogs and odes on today.

Hello… back to the Porcelain Throne I go.
Not a Sausage! But I did have a lamb meal later: Shepherd’s pie with spuds and a Lamb hotpot. I cooked them together in the oven and added extra peas after tipping them in the large bowl. Afterwards, I had a lemon dessert. Lovely it was, too.

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
I woke up, not that I was too interested in doing so. Late around 06:00hrs. I went into an instant seizure and sat there on the bed for an hour or so. I don’t know what I was thinking, which is probably a good thing. Felt well enough… well, physically, to climb out of the bed. The night pouch had over 900ml of urine in it. I emptied it, sealed the bags for disposal and washed my hands. It was as if I’d blinked. I found myself in the kitchen, cleaning the sink. I must get someone to phone the Doctors for me – and get some help getting ready for and going there.
I’m back into another seizure and found I’ve made a brew of Glengettie. Things are getting daft. That’s not the word.

Carer Richard arrived and sorted out the medications. I sense that I moaned about things and listened to his replies, but I’m unsure. His legs are bad again; Richard returned in the heavy-duty leggings this morning.

As Richard departed, I had a Dizzy Dennis visit. A bad one this time. I just climbed back on top of the bed to rest a bit.
I say a bit; I didn’t wake up until nearly midday!
Sod, all done, tons to get done.
Starting with the Porcelain Throne visit.
It hurt more than yesterday’s.
The farting little day punch filled up while I washing, and the weight took the tube down the leg. Little Inchie took the brunt of it. I was fed up already! Mind you, it was late. It’s afternoon already now! And all the extra work to be done on the computer. When am I going to get the shower and shave?
I found these photos when I got on the computer.

I must have taken them during my first reluctant rise before Richard arrived, although I don’t know anything for sure in my current state.

I could not make much headway with the blog. I had to keep making things to replace the thousands of graphics I had created and lost yesterday. Or was it on Sunday? Obviously, the concentration was not good, and things were getting worse.
As the seizures eased and the catheter had been emptied for about the eighth time, Carer Chloe arrived. She took this photo of the stupid, harmful, annoying, frustrating, miniscule day pouch fitted.
I apologised for boring her with my moaning and thanked her as she departed.

I went out onto the balcony and took a couple of shots of the cloudy sky.
They held a beauty to me, however low I was feeling. I’m getting sick to the teeth listening to myself gripe about my bad luck, but I have to say, I’m having a lot of it.

It seemed to get misty again.

When I got back on the computer, I was more baffled than ever about what I was doing and what I needed to do. I had to sidetrack to get things I’d have normally used from the CD file, and then I started doing something else instead. I was well peed off with things. That is putting it mildly.

I used the new Kodak on these shots of the mist.

Carer Precious arrived. With me getting up so late, I thought it was about 13:00 hrs… it was 17:35 hrs! The lad issued the evening medications and gave me a bit of help on the computer. I was struggling with having to make a new spreadsheet for the health checks after deleting four years’ worth. It’s many years since I’ve had to make one, but the new methods and layout in XL had me beat. He sorted it in three minutes.
Thanks, mate! 👍🏼

Took this sunset photo.

Worked till early morning again.

Woke and rose at 04:15hrs: After over five hours of kipping! Grrreat!  Took me a while to nod off, but I only had three, I think
And didn’t visit me once! But, as usual, when I moved, this time it was both & giving me grief, and it must have taken me five minutes to get to the wet room. More on that later.
The absolute worst thing to affect me was in the late afternoon, & launched an attack that I ended up surrendering to and gave up trying to do this blog. Defeated!
With the coughing and downfall of skin when the forehead. , I’m surprised I have any skin left on my head; it was falling off all day. Later I rang Sister Jane, and she and hubby Pete were not in good health at all. Jane’s cough sounded terrible. I’m worried about her now. As I moved to get the B17 tablets that Jane had told me had a
rsenic in them and told me not to use them, to read the label – I went down on one knee. Suddenly, I dropped the landline telephone. , I took a tumble when  gave way. I grappled my way back up on my feet to get to the landline; poor Jane was coughing away something wicked. So many people seem to have this ‘Lurgie’ thing this week. Several Carers, the nurse, the electrician… oh, and me. I hope it’s not another form of Covid, and HMG wants to keep it quiet, with the election coming up?
Much later, I tried again to get some blogging done. Well, I did a bit, but it was error-ridden and amazingly hard work, trying to
keep a clear head on the task.

Passed well, not a bad colour.

Concrete, mush, torpedo, gooey, nothing moved, wet and watery, squirty… Never the same twice in a row! You watch it now I’ve said thatHehe!

Kitchen view.

Back to the wet room. Not for the again, but to clean up Little Inchies bleeding, I caught the catheter tube closing the window. Talk about hurt! Cleaned it up and medicated things

On leaving the wet room, I saw the moon high in the sky. I thought this is worth photographicalisationing. But could I get a decent shot? No!
This is getting bad now. This time, as I was trying to get a decent shot, a , not only that but joined in as well. Then, after taking the sad pictures and closing the window… , I knocked the knife block off of the window ledge. The tip end of the cheese knife broke off when it hit the floor.

Naturally, these incidents didn’t phase or bother me in the slightest. I just laughed them off.

I made a brew of Glengettie and got the computer on to work on this blog. A new Caregiver arrived and Medicated me, put the diabetic soaks on for me, and had a little natter. What about escapes me now. Tsk!

I computed for it appears, for five hours, according to the clock, but not according to the work and progress not done on the blog. I may have suffered a   or maybe , but I recall nothing of this time whatsoever. The rot had set in.

called, and I bluffed my way through. I think, in fact, I did not stop talking to the poor gal. It would help if I could remember what she was talking about. I think I may have, possibly, conceivably mentioned the Lurgy because Joanne sounded like she had a sore throat… or did she?

I did continue on the blog, but it was a bit farcical. I’ll have to get u[ early in the morning so I can get a shave and shower before the Carer arrives, then get back on this Inchy blog. I’d taken some photos… I know this cause I found them on the SD card.
What amazing views.
Gorgeous.
Oh, how I’d love to recall the pleasure of taking them.
These two below, I took later.
I do recall taking these.

I won’t make a meal yet cause it’s close to the last Carer calling time. I’m a different being compared to the one I was hours ago. Struggling a bit here!

But I’m so glad I got the graphics and ode done early on.

Best nosh in a long time.

Hoping for a visit next week from a summat-therapist, phenomenologist, psychotherapist, psychoanalyst or whatever. Then I can… Ah, I’ve Gorrit! A Physiotherapist is being arranged by the Rehabilitation and Falls Service. I can remember now the chap who called the other day showing concern over the state of my knees… at least, I think he did. Today was just as before, in and out of connection with reality. I worry terribly about this… then start fretting cause I can’t remember the name of the vitamins I’m told I am crucially (Not keen on that word!) short of on my last INR DVT Warfarin blood test results. Then, I forget about everything as I go into a mind blank or seizure, coming out with not a worry on my mind… until something is mentioned that starts the cycle again.
Up and down emotionally like a yo-yo.

Much better colour this morning!

Misty, no rain.

ANOTHER FOOD ORDER COCK-UP!

I cannot recall making this order for Iceland at all!
Obviously, it was me who made it, cause all my favourites were in it! Understand that this is my third food order this week! No Carer Kara to limit or check on things; she is off for two weeks on holiday. More of the regulars may be off, too. Because Carers from other establishments are calling. This tests my memory to its limits and beyond, trying to remember things that need doing on each visit. No idea if I’ve said right or wrong to the Carers; it’s frustrating. Back to the unwanted, unnecessary Iceland order…
Got the bags into the kitchen.
Lucozade treats, iced drinkie, bleach and what the heck was getting more pasta sauce in for? I’ve at least ten bottles on the shelf now! I suppose I could claim that can take the blame?
Choca-blocker fridge!
Unbelievable!
I need help with this!

Trotsky held the advantage.

The NHS sent me a new ailment warning wristband.
Any more, and I’ll run out of wrists to put them on. Hehe! Ah, well!

I found this one! Smug Mode Engaged!

THE MEAL.
A cold one.
Orange and brown sliced tomato baguettes
slathered with butterless salted butter.
Surimi slices, and sliced cold potatoes.
Gorgeous!

I think Carers Chris & Victor called today, and some unknown ones.
Sister Jane called me… or did I call her?
bled a lot and often.
.
And were busy giving me bother. But particularly painful was . I seem to be getting pains at the back of both cartilages recently. When walking or lifting either leg. Electric-like Peripheral Neuropathy pains in both ankles.
All I can say is thank heavens that I am so pain-tolerant, brave, heroic and spit & laugh in the face of pain. Hahaha!

I’m sending you tons of good karma!

05:45hrs… I stirred reluctantly back into mock life.

To say that I was overly miffed and cursed an awful lot is putting it ridiculously calmly, compared to the anger, frustration, and even a short depression (Which, as you’ll read later, only got worse at the Whoopsies increased in frequency), along with the teeth grinding, which caused my toothache to kick off again and an even more profound than usual belief that is no God, and boy, did  bloody well hurt like hell? (Which, after this outburst, may be my next port of call?) I almost cried at my pathetic, endless daily runs of bad luck. (A smidgeon of self-pity crept in there, methinks?) Understandably, in my case. Hehe!

Then, the spraying of the room, cushion and carpet. To try to limit any pong from the escaping urine. Then, I disinfected the well-soaked slippers, double-wrapped them and put them into the waste bag with them. Since having this damned fitted a year ago. that is the fourth pair of slippers I’ve urinated on and had to throw away. I have none left now… well, I have one slipper, and I had to put on an old walking slipper that had escaped the last flood from the catheter pouch eruption. Uncomfortable, odd-looking, and embarrassing, to say the least. Of course, it didn’t bother me. I noticed the valve was closed, so how did the wee-wee go AWOL? A dodgy valve on the Nocturnal pouch? A closer look revealed that the out-spout on the bottom of the pouch was not there! Well, Israel and I didn’t notice its absence. It must have been trickling out and straight onto the carpet all the time I was kipping... luckily that was for only just over three hours.

I am off to the wet room to get the urine pong removals seen, too, and then the task is done. However, despite the innards demanding that I evacuate, nothing, and I gave up and got the feet in a bowl of hot water and washing up liquid, with some baking soda added.
Then, while the stinking feet were soaking, I started shaving.
Only one tiny razor nick.
Then, as I was taking my feet out of the water bowl on the floor…

Gave way as I took out the left foot. What followed was, to me, nigh on a miracle! Going over to my right, I grabbed at the seat-raiser handle… But I had the small towel on there and slipped off… No idea how I managed it, but I reached the far handle, twisted backwards and around, yet stayed on my feet. Fair enough I on the base, yet as I got upright, apart from a little stinging, but not a lot,  from , I had no pains that I could sense anywhere else. I think I was so amazed at avoiding going over; it must have confused  , & , plus me?
I felt better straight away until I resmelt the urine when I went passed the room into the kitchenette.
I investigated the condition of last night’s leftovers in the saucepan. Had a spoonful and decided it was not too bad tasting. I’ll have this for my nosh later on. Little did I know at the time it would be 13 hours time before I was around to eat it or what it would taste like by then. Then the pouch was ready for emptying, and me not drinking anything? Still, it’s good that the bladder seems to be working… maybe too well? Have the Finasteride tablets done their job so soon? Have I any prostate left to control things? Is this why the floods took place. Do I want to go to sleep tonight, or stay up watching the nocturnal; pouch? I took this morning’s picture of the blue-hued sky through the kitchenette window. Lovely blue hue!
Of to the Porcelain Throne again. This time was a complete reversal of the earlier visit.
Gawd, it took me ages to clean up. I’ve never had a messier, stickier, costly toilet roll evacuation in years. Haha!

Took this snap through the balcony doors and windows. Still a pretty blue hue on offer. Put the computer on.

It said it was currently -6°c in Nottingham. But the sun coming up now, and the rooftops were soon clears of the ice and frost.
But I could still identify the houses that were most likely to be growing weed in their attics. The ice had cleared on the roofs much quicker than the others had.
Note that, I slipped into a Sherlock Holmesian Mode here? Hahaha!.
As I made a mug of tea, the door chime rang out its tune.

In came .
He was in a good mood, but not about the cold weather, that he’d battled through to get to work, bless him. We decided that we didn’t need to attach any of the usual  this morning. Because the legs looked so much better than they have done for weeks. He did put the diabetic socks on for me; I dared not leave them off.

over the next few hours while computing. But I do recall calling. She’d had an emergency to deal with and was running late, so she changed the pouch for me and will do the finances later in the week for me.
A help as usual that gal is.

The sun was rising from the left. I took the chance to take this photograph that includes the Nottingham City Hospital in it. Grey and Cream colours to the right.
The free-flowing bladder had filled its day pouch again, so off I went to empty it… sounds easy enough, doesn’t it? Oh No! This is Inchy we are talking about! Stubbings number three, this time smack against the , of course, I took it like the heroic brave, courageous man that I am. I barely cried at all. Haha!

I went to make my second mug of J Sainsbury’s extra-strong Red Label tea and spotted some folk out in the cold on the bottom with their dogs.
I got heartwarming, jealous and sorry-for-myself feelings all at the same time, watching them for a few minutes. Especially the lady with her two hounds, Little & Large, as they were about to enter the tree copse. And that is something I miss most of the things I am no longer capable of doing.
I swear I could smell the distinctive aroma inside the copse, even after two years of absence. Sad!

Back again to the front room and my computerisationing.
I took this shot through the balcony from inside. It seemed the darkness was starting to arrive, but the cold sun hid it a bit. Blimus! The bladder is still belting out the urine at a high rate of knots. I wonder if something’s wrong?

I nearly missed the sunset; I was so involved in struggling with the mistakes I was making on the computer. Took this snap and then went back to check on the Odes reading and grammar…

No… rather, a MEGA MONSTER that I’d done was found in CorelDraw.
My weariness & tiredness were joined by a rather deeper depression now.
Over the last week or so, I’d been making date graphics for the blog in advance and was pathetically a , at how well I thought I was getting on with it. But, No!
I’d made dozens of graphics for each of the coming eight weeks in advance to save time later. A cunning plan, I thought.
But, No! Instead of February and March, I’d put the wrong month on every single one of them! And, on many of them, the right month, but the wrong day!

I was caught between the many options to take… Crying again, Swearing, Spitting, Howling, Thumping the wall, Committing suicide, Murdering a Parole Board Member, or Voting Liberal in the next election. I only carried out two of the options… I’ll not say which at this stage.
I made do with a long period of . Still got it, actually!
Got some potatoes in the oven to add to yesterday’s leftover homemade soup. I had to sort out a good few pot-marked multi-coloured, spuds first. This one was the oddest, if that’s the right word to use? Then when they were cooked, I added them to the left-over vegetable stew; it smelt rather nice!
Mixed them all together in the saucepan to heat up. Took a spoonful or toe to try the taste… good enough for me, but I added a little extra liquid sea salt (anchovies).
Took this evening shot of the view from the kitchenette as I cleaned the oven dish and kept stirring the feast of stuff that was in the saucepan.
Boy, the day pouch (Well, it wouldn’t be the night one, would it, Hehe!) had filled up quickly again, at the maximum, too, 500ml.

Got the nosh served up. And it was delightful to the palate. A banana and a pot of raspberry jelly for afters rounded the feast off rather nicely! Two enjoyable meals.

I must try to ring the District Nurse place about my day pouch filling so fast and repeatedly. It might be a good sign? But it is filling so fast that I cannot get to the hospital appointments in time before it backs up in the bladder. That’s concerning.

Carer Christopher on the last call. There was nothing to do; no painkillers or Peptac was needed, and the legs were much better. I’ll ask the nurses if I can stop using the ankle & leg straps, I think… providing I remember to ask,  naturally. All that he had to do was for the  night pouch to be added on to the day bag. I’m praying that it does not leak again tonight straight out the other end and over me and the carpet. PLEASE!

TTFNski, each!

So many again today. It is now gone 18:00hrs, and I have only just started on this blog!
The Major , was with the Ode creating. You wouldn’t believe how I was struggling with the graphic header above on CorelDraw without even starting on the ode-making itself! I’d eventually, after several hours, got it how I wanted it. Copied it and turned the copied version to BMP; I usually do this so I have a vector copy to restart over with, in case of errors, cock-ups etc., grammar-wise or colour-wise.
It was well into the afternoon by then.
I went to make a brew of tea, saw a fire through the kitchen window across Sherwood, and took some photographs of the smoke for this blog.
When I returned to the computer… I deleted the Bitmap..
. and the Vector graphic. Not noticing at the time. Then, I spent hours doing the ode wording to try to get a bit of humour going, changing and tweaking it here and there, and eventually, I was satisfied that it was okay and error-free. Then, I realised the header graphics had both been deleted! Self-Hatred flourished! I never got caught up after that.

Gonna be a long day!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

I awoke after another lousy night of odd dreams (Hence today’s Ode). Unaware of the upcoming disasters! I got the nocturnal Catheter pouch off, and as seems usual lately, I had to visit the Porcelain Throne. Ruled the evacuation, but not so bad as yesterday. I thought to myself, Ah, things might not be so bad today, a decent start… I should have known better, of course.

I returned to the itch-creating, bruise-giving, catheter-tube-tugging, crumb-decorated from my nocturnal nibblings, God-awfully uncomfortable, cringingly-grotty, no longer working, dirty beige recliner, anti-sleep designed, c1966, second-hand bought for £300, ten years ago from the charity shop, recliner. Noticing the six empty packets of Cheese Curls in the bin near the ottoman. I know I have many problems, , and the newly diagnosed but surely I should remember eating all those darned nibbles nocturnally? The mess of crumbs in the quilt cover and on the floor made me madder than ever with my nighttime feasting! What?
Into the kitchen to get the potatoes in the crock-pot. I have now been cooking for 13 hours!
I took a shot of the morning view. But it was not a very good one again.
Oh, dearie me! Trotsky was bad to his worst, or best, whichever way you look at it. I can’t believe how many toilet rolls I’ve got through in the last few days!

I got the computer going and was still in semi-hopeful mode, hoping to get a move on with my blogging, which I was far behind with anyway. Got another photograph taken as the sky out there turned to a beautiful blue hue. I thought things were going so well with the CorelDrawing. Humph! I went to make another brew and took a shot.
I’d sooner not go into detail here, as I was a bit angry with myself, putting it mildly. But after a while grafting away, I found my cock-up with the graphic headers! Grrr!
Carer Kim did me today. A refreshing change to have someone who listens and laughs with me. Bless her! I spent so flipping long concentrating on trying to salvage the artwork (I couldn’t) and started all over again: It was not until the pains from the bladder told me, that I realised I’d let the day pouch overfill, and it had backed up.

I am off to the wet room this time to empty it, as I needed the Yet again! Another messy, time-consuming cleaning-up job!
The sky and clouds were darkening already. But still looked beautiful to me.

I have to say, if I have to leave this flat to go into the care home, I’m so going to miss the views.I did my best to concentrate on the blog, but for some reason, I struggled. I spent far too long making corrections… well, making errors too, of course! Then a bit of excitement. I spotted what looked like a fire in the distance in Sherwood or Basford. I could see the blue lights, presumably from the fire engines. So fetched my to take some pictures of the smoke.
It looked to be clean smoke coming from somewhere.
Then suddenly, some brown smoke appeared.
Got a decent photo of the brown stuff here. Nothing on the local news about any fire later on?.

Closing the window after taking the photos, I knocked over the kitchen’s knife block of off the window ledge.
Only a smidgeon of bleeding, which was soon stopped when I splashed on some Brut aftershave on both fingers.
Made a start on the blogging yet again, but was feeling a little depressed suddenly. So, on seeing the sun setting, I took two more pictures of it. As bad as I felt emotionally, I still got pleasure from standing at the kitchenette window, looking at Nature’s display of power and beauty!
A couple of hours later, I’d got the CorelDraw graphic redone. Carer Kimberley arrived, and that cheered me up. As she left, I took some more shots of the evening sky. The clouds had broken up. Letting the dying sun through. Bootiful! Though not particularly good photographs. The colour itself was unique to me.
This last one on the right shows how quickly the cloud reappeared and the sun sank behind the horizon.
Now prepare some food if the potatoes haven’t fallen to pieces with their marathon cooking session. Hehe! I hope to be back in the morning to catch up. TTFN.

Monday: I’m back. I got the fodder sorted out. I’d better put the puzzle result in here now. So I do not forget to put it on. It best me completely… Arithmaphobia, you see.

I got the spuds from the crock pot, dried them off, burnt them and cut a finger, then got the unskinned spuds bashed up in a mixing bowl. Add liquid sea salt, a sprinkle of basil, and a drop of blood from the finger, and put it into the oven for an hour or so to hopefully brown off.
As the potato was nearly burnt enough for my tastes, I put some Walls sausages into the new red microwave cook pot for two minutes. Then put the disposable foil dish with the burnt nicely spuds & cheese onto the tray, and I added the sausages, two ready-sliced cobs, a pot of sauce dip, and a tub of lemon mousse.

did the last call. Ointmentated the leg wounds for me. Little chat while she issued the medications, thanked her, and off she went. Bless her!

As tired as I was, and believe me, I felt drained, and sure that Sweet Morpheus would be no bother tonight. Huh! Was I wrong! (Yes, I was!)
I must have been in the c1966, £300 charity shop bought, second-hand, wincingly grotty, beige coloured, not working, crumb-covered from the nocturnal nibblings, itch-making, uncomfortable, virus-breeding, easy-to-fall-out-of, recliner, for well over 7 hours. I fell asleep dozens of times, but the waking-ups seemed much more frequent. Come my usual stirring back into imitation-life time, was spent dozing and waking up again. I resisted the temptation to get up for about an hour or so, still feeling physically drained.
I  felt . With a decent flow this time, so was forced to get up, clean things up, and get fresh PPs on again. Worra Night! Why was the night so broken, sleep-wise, with no dreams, nightmares or even any hassle?

CHEERS!

Much improved colour now I’ve got some of the nocturnal Catheter pouches to use!

The carer took this shot of the leg when changing the straps & long diabetic socks.

The leg and ankle straps are laid out and ready to be used tonight. Must get the laundry done, and the waste bags have not been taken & I keep forgetting to ask the Carers to take both for me. Tsk!

The first-morning view photo.

Two hours later, a little misty.

Another hour and a change again.
End car park view.

Computer on, blogging started.

Late morning through the balcony.

Amazing clouds.

It was a late try from the sun to get through the clouds.

Early evening cloud views.
Wonderful!

Late evening clouds.

OUT OF IT MIND BLANK
Unbelievable! I lost about five hours of memory!
When I rebooted the memory, I recall going into the kitchen tosee what to have for tonight’s nosh. And vaguely of the Carer Calling. Carer Chloe, I think. However, I’d done a lot of artwork on CorelDraw in preparation for tomorrow’s blog, and many templates had been made. Cannot recall doing any of them, but they are all on file on the Admin page of WordPress?
I looked at one, and it had errors that even I should have spotted when creating it – naturally, I’d made the same mistake on all of them! Grrr!

I think I did an Asda order for next Tuesday… I’d better check. Yep!

It’s not the Worst Day of the year, but one of my oddest!

Cheery-Bye!

Photographic Prompters…

Morning kitchen window view.

Made a start on blogging catch-up…
Within the first half-hour!

Carer Sam, then the Iceland delivery…
Bags were taken through to the kitchen.
The first bag was emptied, and food was put away.
Freezer full!
Fridge loaded.
None foods & treats.
Refilled the Carer, Nurses, & delivery treats.
All the bending has set off .

I selected two large potatoes, to be turned
into Baked Cheesy Treats, later on.

I got the potatoes in the oven baking.
Got it back on, and made a start on this blog for a couple of hours’ worth of mistakes & errors to be made.

Had a wash of sorts, no shave!

Got the meal served up.
I was pleased with how the potatoes came out!
A no-fish fish stick, a bit of the tomato cob,
and a mouthful of the tasty, soft, potato…
with sea salt & no butter, butter!
A Worthy 9.4/10 for flavour!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
Ah, pleasant news for once!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

05:05hrs: I had woken up a good few times overnight, hate precious time was about 03:30hrs. But miraculously nodded off again. Hurrah!
Struggled free of the c1966. charity shop bought, second-hand, wincingly grotty, beige coloured, not working, crumb-covered from the nocturnal nibblings, itch-making, uncomfortable, virus breeding, easy-to-fall-out-of, recliner. Caught my balance and off to the . A slightly strenuous passing, messy with it too. The worst bit was the stink from the painful wee-weeing. (Urine infection back? I decided to get the tended to, being as I was in there, and did! Just one tooth bleeding and one tiny nick shaving. Had a stand-up wash; it was too early to use the noisy shower.
Then realised it was late enough and had a good session under the shower. Dried off without knocking owt off of the floor cabinets!
Yes, it amazed me as well! Got dressed and went into the kitchenette.

I saw the state (mess) the kitchen was in and briefly toyed with the idea of cleaning and mopping it. But didn’t.

Got some small new potatoes into the crock-pot on a low setting.
Added some Henderson’s liquid sauce, sea salt and vinegar, giving the strange hue you can see in the photograph on the left here.
I returned later to turn the power socket on. Ahem!
I opened the kitchen window and took this depiction of the morning’s view.
A little misty, and the twinkling lights from business, along with the hue of the morning, gave an impression of a wonderful water paint job?

I went back to the wet room to retrieve the wristwatch and was again surprised to find that I’d done the ablutions and bits in the kitchen, and it was still only 06:17hrs?

Made a brew of Glengettie tea, and took it through to the computer, and perused the scarce-looking memory notes on the pad.

Then, I got such a shock as the started to give the right leg some hammer. I all but fell out of the computer chair!
An performed while I was sitting down! Never been known before! In fact, I think I said to last night that it never comes on when I sit down. Big-Mouth!
Well, it’s started to do so now! I clouted my right knee and ankle several times against the 1963-built, falling to pieces, Hopewell’s E-Plan Sideboard, with the doors falling off
.
I got the Health Checks done.

But I was a little tiny bit disappointed in finding that the NHS site had put me back into the Hypertension Two-Red Zone again. It seems to be jumping between a most and the highly satisfactory acceptable High-Norm and then Hyper-Two?
Still, it could be worse? So, Fingers crossed for tomorrow!
Arrived as I was making a brew of Thompson’s Punjana. In fact, she finished making the mug of tea for me. We got the medications sorted and had a mini-waffling session, which was nice. Brought a few laughs from both of us, which is good for us, too.

I got the updating of the Thursday blog done; not a lot to go on due to my bad memory and shortage of reminder notes on the notepad. Humph! Posted it to WordPress and Pinterested a few pictures.

Made her second call, a Safety Check on the taps, stove etc. She also gave me an extra Paracetamol cause Anne Gyna was giving me some stick at the time Jo-Anne called.

Went to make another brew, JS Red Label, this time, and I took these snaps.

The bog deems to be clearing now. (within an hour, it was belting down with rain).

The Chestnut Way car park looked well filled up this morning… Ha! Just noticed it is already 14:20 hours

Good job that not much is happening to go in this diary; I’m so far behind.
Harrumph!

Aha, there he goes.
Clunk, tap-tapping with the odd whoring sound thrown in to keep me interested and awake.
Bless his cotton socks.
He’s such a nice, ignorantly superior noisemaker.

Hello, an arditamente of rapid tap-tapping there.
He is likely just letting me know he doesn’t give a toss, I suppose.
Still, it didn’t last too long, an hour at most.
Odd, how I’m deaf yet seem to hear laughter coming from above? All part of the paranoia?

I checked on the potatoes in the slow cooker. Nowhere near ready yet, so I turned the heat up to high. Must remember to recheck on them.
I opened the in of ‘Rehydrated Peas’ I bought from Lidl.
Rock hard, sour, terrible! But the last can that I have. So I attempted a rescue job on them. I put some demerara sugar in them and left them to soak in it. Tried a spoonful of them later – EURGH!
I left them on low and hope they turn out better later.

TWIT!

Returned to the computer and continued with my suitable graphic-finding mission. Got a couple copied and posted into CorelDraw.
At this stage, I smelt the burning!
Panic, flab, I hobbled hastily to the kitchen…
CALAMITY!

The new pan with the rehydrated peas had no water left in it at all.
I got out what peas I could, but the others have gelled together like Araldite!
I’d turned the heat onto full instead of the off position!
Soaked the pan, filled it with bleach and washing up the liquid.
The bottom of the pan was unreachable at this stage, so I left it to soak in the cleaners in hopes of rescuing the saucepan.

Cleaned the mess on the hob and stove.
Then got stuck into trying to get the peas out.
It was a slow frustrating job, but then, life is for me at the moment!.
Heck of a job keeping stuff from going down the drain, but used the plastic strainer throughout, and that did the trick. Took me an hour to get the peas at the bottom out.

The yellow plastic scrubber thingy was invaluable, got the job finished. But not until about the eighth time working on it. When I got to see a bit of the black bottom of the pan, a

At this point, 16:00hrs, chimed and came in. As I was telling him about my details, a lack of interest was shown, and he muttered, “I’ll get the medications done!” I think the lad was tired out, done in. Bless him!
I looked at the Carers Report sheet later, no mention of the mess and danger I’d gotten myself into. I’d have thought this sort of thing needed reporting? I may be wrong, of course...
Jozeph listened to me talking without any response. I asked him to take the waste bag for me, and he took the one hanging up with the ‘Pea-Disaster’ waste in it as well. Hehehe!
Jozeph gave me two Paracetomal cause he saw that the Anne Gyna had started to play up; the anxiety, I suppose, also made sure I took the stick with me.

I nipped out onto the balcony, to take a snap of the rainy view on offer.
Oddly there were few seagulls food hunting at this time

Had to utilise the now 24-hour WWB (Wee-Wee-Bucket) with some urgency. The trickling leak was painful still and stunk to high heaven again! Strenuous, and it took ten minutes to pass a few fluid ounces.

Back to the balcony. Opened the side window; the rain had stopped, and I took a photo of the mud-slide coming down into the car park from the unofficial but much-used Woodthorpe Park. The seagulls were back, squirrel, wood-pigeon, dove, cat, small dog, baby and rat seeking for supper.

Hobbled into the kitchenette to get the nosh sorted out. I saved some of the spuds from the slow cooker to have tomorrow and halved the ones being used tonight.
Had to utilise the now 24-hour WWB (Wee-Wee-Bucket) again. Pain, eventual trickle and the long wait for the dripping of the MAD (Micturition-After-Dribbling) to stop! Which took that long; the flaming meal had gone partially cold before I got around to eating it. But it didn’t bother me. Flavour rating: 805/10! Washed the pots, and the checks were done.

I fell asleep watching ‘Heartbeat’ on the box, and I was well into another weird dream as arrived to sort me out.  Hehehe! I think I ought at this time to mention that the names of carers mentioned on this blog are all liable; just might be, possibly, maybe, perhaps the wrong ones. I apologise if this is so.

Personally, I blame for muddling up my brain cells. , and ‘The Lurgy’ for giving me so much constant pain that I can’t concentrate. Of course, that pleasant scumball, pococurante, snobbish, superior-acting, definitely for his mechanical clumping, grinding, drilling and tap-tapping every single day of the week.

By constantly having to take a painful unwilling leak, . To a degree, of course, there are plenty of other self-named ailments to accuse; , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,   … I’ve likely missed a few off of this list of the guilty… Oh, Yes… ME!

Arrived. Sorted the medications out. Little natter, checked taps, treat in thanks insisted upon by myself, and Kara took the waste bag as she left, thanked her and locked the door…
After that, it’s all a mystery. Nothing on the memory notepad other than Kara’s name… and I’m not guaranteeing that I got that, right?

Woke up, knowing I was having dreams but no actual memories of them… other than a feeling they were not good, at 02:30hrs, convinced, for some unknown reason, that it was about 07:00hrs. And got up.

04:30hrs: I woke wanting a wee-wee, passed it, and had to go to the . A smidgen messy, but no pain and no hæmatorrhœa.
I cleaned up but had already made plans for the day while seated on the throne. I shall get the sorted out as soon as I’ve finished doing the Health Checks, and then I’ll get the medicationalisationings done.  Owzat then? Me making plans, blimey!

Off to the computer. No tea, no biscuits, no depression, no, and I do believe I may have been humming the Shadows Stars fell on Stockton tune to myself!

Not the result I was hoping for; a rather high Hypertension – Two, close to the (Call 999) stage Three. I blame and all his extra long all day, and noisier-than-ever bursts of clangs, clanks, Tap-tapping, knocking and drilling yesterday for this! Thanks mate!

I did some Pinteresting when I’d done the Health Checks and updated the Thursday blog. I seemed to be doing well this morning the were not playing me up too much – but that was a silly thing for me to say; they can go offline in an instant, and the brain no longer understands the broken messages, and anything can happen then! Wish I’d keep me gob-shut!

The computer was put into sleep mode and off to get them done. I’d taken the camera in with me and took a snap of the legs after I’d stripped off; the one on the right is after the session was completed… And I’d heroically, bravely, boldly and stupidly used you-know-who to get the long diabetic socks on. Yes, I’d utilised the mocking, fearsome, finger bruising, cutting and ripping green goddess known as ! And came out of the battle with only a squashed ! And a rather large was gone into!

The shaving produced only two tiny nicks on the neck. Teggie cleaning did go badly, though. Another lump had detached itself from the left bicuspid and double molar; the blood flowed, and that took me some time to stop. Thus, started! This is because of the Warfarin INR level is high, at 4.4. (3.5 is the target) That’s why the DVT clinic has reduced the dosage again.

Germolened, Germoloided, and oiled the ear holes. And guess what?
, That ignorant slobbovitch from the flat up above kicked off with his banging and knocking again!
I’d had enough to contend with yesterday, over 12 hours of it, and just had to bounce back some similar noises to inform him of the danger he was in.
They were tap-tappings, and I hit the top of the high bookcase with Metal Mickeys’ plastic handle on the hard wooden shelves. Trying to imitate the same amount of bangs (18), I counted.
This did no good, and a few minutes later, they kicked off again. Louder this time, I could clearly hear them without my hearing aids in.
I returned a volley of bangs around the top of the bookcase cabinet, and I kept it up for a few moments. And waited, stick in hand, for the reply… There were many more taps and bangs, but they were all a lot quieter, so fair enough. They stopped after a few minutes. He’s probably going out to see his favourite youngsters with his pressies? I’m dreading the self-centred, impolite, insensitive, disrespectful, snobbish, haughty, pompous, pretentious, uppity, scoffing, contumelious, smart-alecky, ineffable crud-nut coming back.

Got carried away there, sorry…

Was beginning to get a smidgen worse as I exited the wet room – Smelling all nice and fresh, the smell of the medications wafting up my nose. I went into the junk room to select the day clothes… and…
! As I was reaching at full tilt to get the jumper from the clothes racking,  presented me with one heck of an . Short & sharp, but it had over, and I fell into the clothes and slid gently to the floor! Breaking a few clothes hangers in the process and landing on the right knee, which did not please .
The hobble on my hands and knees out into the hallway, into the front room, and the struggle to get myself upright using the weight of the recliner took a long time, but I did it. How things were going, a .
I was not hurting, apart from . But that was nothing to do with the tumble.
I soon recovered, and I made my way to the kitchenette to get the kettle on to make a brew of Glengettie.

The red line on the horizon caught my attention, and I went for the Lumix camera. It was misty, so not the best of conditions, but it still looked good to me.
Then I took a shot of the bottom field with the frost still not melted. There were many seagulls about circling and threatening, zooming low. Had they seen a rat, cat or lone dog that they often make a meal of? I missed them all in the photo but caught some a few minutes later.
Took a photo of the drug-dealers house street. You can see which it is by the lack of frost and snow on the roof; no doubt they are growing cannabis or whatever in the loft, hence it being the only house with the attic being heated?

Took another shot of the horizon.

Then one of the Winwood Heights car parking on Chestnut way. Oh... I caught some of the seagulls on their breakfast safari in this one. Hehehe!
I made up some waste bags. The nice gentleman in the flat above me offered some accompaniment for me.
This time the tap-tapping was almost musical? The uncommunicative: laconic, taciturn, aloof, Laodicean, reticent, stoical, unruffled, equanimous, unclubbable, unforthcoming, stand-offish, unapproachable, haughty chap, was producing some good stuff, I thought.
A piacere, which, considering he was only using what sounded like a sledgehammer and mallet (Maybe a nail hammer as well),  was pretty impressive. I was just getting into it, and he stopped.

I must go on the web to try to find some cartoons to use over the next few days. I may have to stop suddenly. For I have the Amazon deliveries that are due today, and they are currently (0335hrs) being given an ETA of twixt 03:40 > 0640hrs. Which possibly means it will be here by 22:00hrs or tomorrow.

Weary, tired, computer off.

Woke me up. Issued Peptac, checked taps and stove. Had a mini-natter. Took bags And amazon boxes with her.

Woke up by the kind, caring, sympathetic noisy  Git-in-the-flat-above, Herbert. Knock, knocking for a while.

Woke me up. Meds issued. Mini natter enjoyed.

21:45hrs: Woke up to some strange different noises from the Management protected and defended, unneighbourly, superior-natured Gentleman in the flat above. Not sure what caused them, a sort of chugging sound?

22:10hrs: Ah, that’s better, back to his regulation mode of tap-tapping, with the odd clunk thrown in for good measure.

I kept trying to fall asleep again but ended up turning on the TV. Ah, that did it! Zzz!

01:30hrs: With a jerk, jump and shock! Not the foggiest idea what had caused this rude awakening? but it buggered me up, and I spent the next four hours or so desperately trying to get back to sleep – No chance until about 05:00hrs. Off into bliss!

05:20hrs: I more or less erupted into wakefulness.
I was half over the edge of the cushion on the second-hand, £300, charity shop bought, incommodious, crumb-retaining, microorganism-microbe producing, gungy, moth-eaten, beige-coloured, non-working, bacillus encouraging,  Haemorrhoid Harold testing, c1968 recliner.
For this, I blame the nightmare I was having, the slippery materialed new dressing gown I had on… and I might as well blame as well. Oh, and myself, I suppose!
.

Although, is yet another possible (definite) reason for my poorlier than it should be, health. Nicknamed Herbert’s real name is John, I think, the protected from criticism, imperviable to criticism, animadversion or condemnations. A superior acting gentleman,  urchin. An untouchable, pompous, arrogant elitist!. He’s not a nice person to those he’s making life a misery for with his constant everyday noise-making. Made invulnerable and defended by those in control of the Independent Living Organisation. I pray I do not meet him face to face ever again… I’ve never ever lost control physically… yet! Doing so could well see me off – but he is seeing me off slowly with his grinding, tap-tapping, drillings and knockings every single day! Such a supercilious sod.

I think there’s just a minimal iota of an idea, that he may be getting to me?... Hehehe!
