Worran ‘orrible night’s sleep!
, , and ensured a miserable nocturnal nightmare of ever-waking-up. Muttering, swearing, cursing and fighting to get back to kip. I’m feeling fedder-upperer than I’ve been for a long time.

I must ask a Carer to call the dentist to see if they can see me.
has been worse than ever today. Hope I can get in the dentist.
My concentration is non-existent. The agony is doing me no good at all. Even the tooth-pain-killer spray is not easing the teggies in the slightest. I’ve taken extra Codeines, Ibuprofen dissolvable in the bladder water drinks, and been eating Paracetamols as if they were podded peas. Not much in today’s blog, apart from moans and gripes.
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

At least the nocturnal wee-wee was a better colour.

The new Kodak.

I took these shots out of the kitchenette window with the cheapo backup camera, not the Kodak.
It captures the varying colour shades of the rising sun behind the building to my left. It’s not too bad at all.

Then the need for a visit to the was called for, so I went.
One final shot of the sky was taken. There were not many clouds yet; there were no more at midday. What does that indicate, I wonder? I poddled to the wet room.
No pain in evacuating this time.
But the stink was beyond the putrid classification. Phoaw!
Cleaning things up afterwards was a task and a half.
I think I had a while in there. I do not recall finishing up the cleaning and was back on the computer when I realised this. I grabbed a hold of , (I could not find and raced, well, hobbled back to the wet room to check if I’d left the taps running. I had not, and I’d cleaned the faucets!

I worked on CorelDraw and updated yesterday’s blog. I sent it off. It took me about three and a half hours.
I went to see if the skies were worth photographing and found that  had been left in the kitchen.

arrived. was then joined by , in a two-pronged attack while Precious was still here putting my diabetic socks on. The lad showed some concern. Then, as he was putting the other sock on, a kicked off, and I nearly hit him. Then,  sent a cracking bolt up my leg that went beyond my kneecap.
I gritted my teeth with the pain and instantly forgot all about the same pain… I’d crunched one of the bad front teeth against a lower one. Boy, well, Arghhh!
Precious then issued the medications, and I gave him a cold drink from the fridge and his choice of a nibble.

Within minutes of his leaving, I had another blank that must have lasted for a while, but I had not worked on this blog during that time. I may have done some CorelDrawing, or I could just be getting things all mixed up again. Carried on giving me some stick, and foolishly, I sprayed on another dose of the toothache painkiller. It’s losing its effectiveness now. Then, a second Caregiver arrived, but I can’t recall her name. She was in and out quickly because there was nothing for her to do, apart from taking a choice of drink with her as she left. Hehe!

Now, I concentrated as best I could on starting this blog for an hour or two. Then, I topped up the Nurses & Carers’ nibble table stock.

I tried to make up some Cartoons as I only had two days’ worth ready. It was hard work with the toothache and electric shocks, and the earache was gaining power. I’m fed up!

I took this shot from the kitchen window. Cloudlessness?

I went to make a microwave-ready soft-to-eat meal. Minutes later, these on the right were five minutes apart. The sky had a few clouds up there now.

Carer Israel called next.
I got the lad to take off the diabetic socks for me. I lost the plot a bit as he was on his mobile for a long time, but know that I did tell him of the tooth and earache and had a decently powered shock from & the ankle ulcer while he was here. I told him to take some nibbles and a drinkie on his way out.
I had a ready-made shepherd’s pie. The vegan sausages I added were too firm and painful to eat. They pissed off   too much. But I managed all the rest; the soft sliced milk roll bread and lemon & lime yoghourt were delicious.

I went to wash the pots, etc. and caught the sunset again. I snapped the first effort. Then, I proceeded to reach to close the window against the radiator. Swore, then swore some more.
I took the second shot with the sun now gone to bed.

I decided to watch something on TV. I drifted off into a deep sleep for about ten minutes, and then the TV woke me up, and I swore a little more.
Then the door chime chimed (they do that, I’ve noticed, Hehe!), and in came Carer Richard. Of course, I bored him with my tales of the last few days’ toothache, earache, and electric shocks. Following up after he gave me the medications, I opened a bottle of spring water and added some effervescent Ibuprofen painkiller to it. Well, another
The fizz shot up so fast that it drenched my nightshirt, protection pants and right leg before landing on the carpet!
I took off the gown and limped to the wet room. I removed the PPs, put them in the bin, and struggled to add a fresh pair. I bent a fingernail backwards, and it split, causing the new PPs to tear. Bending down to get them off again, I gave way as I was getting yet another pair on. Naturally, of course, the PPs kept me company.
When I returned to the main room, Richard asked what had happened. He had heard my language and cursing. It was good of him to wait to see if I was okay. A drinkie was chosen, and nibbles were offered.
I was not in a good frame of mind now!
I got back on the computer to write down the farcicalness that had taken place before I forgot it.

was by far the worst ailment I had today. I have to find a dentist soon. Otherwise, I may find myself going stark-raving-mad.  come think of it, I think I’m at that stage now. What would be the next one up? Away with the fairies, barking mad, non-compos mentis, or nutty as a fruitcake, Hehe!
The meddlesome medley of like yesterday relented. However, I did have one hell of a mind-blank this evening that lasted for at least three hours. During this, Carer Joanne discovered that I’d cut up and seasoned some mushrooms earlier in the day and left the heat on under the pan when she did the taps and cooker checks for me. I genuinely thought she was joking at first. I went into the kitchen to her, and sure enough, I had. Why the hell I couldn’t remember doing it – and equally worrying, is how I did it without knowing and had no accidents, Accifauxpas or Whoopsiedangleplops doing it?
I also took some sky photographs as well.
But the mini-blanks, unless I didn’t realise, which must be possible, did not affect me much at all. On this long one, no blogging was done at all. What was I doing then? That’s a silly question. I was doing the mushrooms, but that wouldn’t have taken me three hours, surely. I found the sharp knife hours later, underneath the microwave cooker. I assume I’d used it to slice the mushroom with.
I used far too much of the pain-killer spray on the teeth today. was hardly any bother at all, up to now anyway. I’m going to ask a Carer to call the doctor on Monday. I’ll get to the surgery somehow or other. I rankling me now.
Getting yesterday’s blog done took me ages. This is surprising, really, because the toothache hadn’t been bothering me too much until today. Thanks to the pain-killer spray.
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Cor, blimey. Must tell the doctor.

My first shot of the morning.

No mud, no rain.

Ablutions & Porcelain Throne time.
Urgh!

On and off of blogging.

These were found on the computer later.
Not only did I not recall doing the mushrooms that Joanne found, but I can’t remember taking these photos. But once I saw them, I remembered. Hehe!
To this one, after I’d sliced and seasoned the mushrooms.
Boy, did I season them!
Strong soya sauce, oregano, liquid smoke flavour, Polish Worcester sauce, sea salt, black pepper and some onion granules. I’m not sure, but I have a strange feeling, just might have added some mint? Just a feeling, like.

Afternoon view.

I wonder where the liquid in the car park came from?
No car washing, water shortage?

Beautiful clouds later on.

The big Blank arrived.

Two lovely sunset shots.
Smug-Mode Adopted.
But I was still bothered about the blanks.

Better put this result on while I remember.
I got eight of them in four hours. Haha!
Smug-Mode disengaged.

Waiting for Carer Precious to come.
I’ll go on WP reader and comments.

Caught the sunset for once.
I took these on the new Kodak.

Thanks to , the rating for the meal of the day was lower than it really deserved.

EPILOGUE
Carer Precious took off my socks. Checked the taps and stove, and was happier because he was on his way home.
Good for him. A nice lad.
I kept nodding off and waking up for hours.
It was a bad night, broken by , the odd strike, but most often it was who woke me up.
Terrible night!

TTFNski each.

FRIDAY 9TH AUGUST 2024
After many false starts, lack of interest, and repeatedly nodding off again, I felt the motion in the innards. Rumbling with the odd, almost sloshing sensation at times that threatened the return of Trotsky Terence’s return. But not yet of an urgent nature, more a pre-warning, methinks.
As I was taking this snap of the removed from the catheter nocturnal pouch and saw the terribly deep colour, the need for the Porcelain Throne became more intense. In my haste to ensure I got to the WC on time, I  had a couple of Accifauxpas en route.  The first was my treading on the electricity cable and catching my ingrowing toenail on it; a quick curse worse was let out, then I dropped the walking stick, and finally (I thought), I shoulder charged the door edge as I clambered in my haste to get into the wet room. No messing, I lifted the gown, downed the protection pants and got seated on the plastic WC lid!
The motion of the evacuation was much slower than I’d anticipated; however, there was no boredom, counting cracks in the ceiling or crosswording this morning.
After a night without, as far as I recall, any electric shocks up the leg from the ankle lesion, the moment I tried to urge the motion to start sent a couple of disorientating streaks of lighting up the leg. I’ve never suffered two in a row before. She carried on throughout the day, giving me the odd one now and then, but no more doubles. That double was really painful!
Then, the motion splurted out. was back in full control, no doubt about it. However, the Kharki colour that he had favoured for a fortnight now was again on show. It was straw-like in appearance. I checked the time and decided I could get the ablutions done before a Carer was due. So I did…
ABLUTIONALISATIONINGS
Teeth cleaning and shaving are the first jobs. Careful as I was, the gums bled. Just two little nicks shaving, But at one stage, I had give me another single-strike visit. This caused  , to give way.
Luckily, I was rinsing and not shaving at the time.
I was fortunate there.
The Showering Session went well, too. The lower region cleaning was a smidge painful, though, with all the dried blood from Little Inchies Fungal Lesion and the tugging of the Catheter tube. Next, to the various medicating duties. I olive-oiled the earholes. Then Phorpain gelled Cartilages Carole and Chloe. Then Arthur Itis’s patella to the front of both legs. Got Acne on the head and eczema on the belly and chest creamed. Red Rash ointment under the man-breasts and down bellow. I can’t reach to get the ingrowing toenails done or get my Diabetic socks on; I’ll ask the Carer later. Sprayed over the toothache. Nasal sprayed the nostrils.
I’m always left with the feeling that I’ve missed something after abluting, and the medicationings are done, or not done.

On to the blogging.
Took this snap from the computer desk through the balcony,
Well, this may sound ridiculous, but it is, I suppose. But it was as if I’d blinked, and four hours had disappeared.
I found that I’d finished yesterday’s blog and posted it of, and was currently working updating on today’s old ode.
Realising this, I checked the other rooms for taps or anything left on. The oven had been put on, but it was on low heat. Has it been like that all night and day? I don’t think so; the top of the cooker was not that hot, so I assume I did it not long ago.
Then, I had to check to see if I’d made any errors on Thursday’s blog. Yet I felt alright in myself. Apart from the usual confusion about what else I’d been up to.

Carer Jonee arrived. She’s an upbeat, straight-as-it-is kind of gal. I like her. I’ll not mention that she has similar problems to me, but she understands things that others don’t or can’t. Bless her. I carried on with starting this blog.

BEAUTIFUL CLOUDS
Photo Number One: I see a face/head of a beast and one of a human.
Photo 2: I see a cupid, two distinct faces; one is human, the other might be.
Three faces and bodies of a weasel-like nature.
Photo 3: An angel of sorts. A cat’s face in the right cloud. Maybe the outline of a pig is in this one
. I looked once and saw it, searched for more, and can’t find it! Photo 4. A face with an elongated head. Left, a partial face. All the pictures remind me of icebergs.

I was about to make up some more cartoons, and…CALAMITY!
CorelDraw stopped responding altogether!
I could not close anything or open anything!
No response to the keyboard on anything at all!
The Task Manager thingamagig came up.
All beyond me and depression dawned.
I considered crying after my initial swearing.
So, I left it for an hour, then turned everything off.
It let me close the computer, well no… I clicked
on Restart. When it came back on, CorelDraw loaded and worked? But not saving the work I’d done meant a lot of
lost time before it loaded the working screen. But it did!
I reopened Word, which had the Ode partly done on it,
that was auto-saved for me,
My concerns were quadriad,
Enough I have nearly had,
I feel a bit of a dingwad,
Dad would say, Young-fellow-Milad…
Life’s not all good, there’ll be bad,
Earn your wages, pay your way…
Be prepared to die one day,
Cause no sod cares, do they?
Some of the things that he did say!
Hahaha! Thanks, Dad!

The Iceland Man Cameth.
Popped the bags in the doorway for me.
I took them one at a time into the kitchen.
Topped up with drinkies to keep the bladder and catheter happy.
And some treats for myself.

arrived.
Sniffing at the bag with Joanne’s treats in for offering to wash my nightshirt thingies for me. After explaining that the cotton they are made of should not go in the tumble dryer, that’s why they have shrunk so much. And I was thinking I was piling on the weight. Hehehe! Chris sorted the medications, and will be doing the last call of the day later. So, I must now get something to eat before he arrives, or maybe leave it until after he’s been & gone. Decisions, decisions… not my scene at all nowadays!
No, no, I’ll make it afterwards because I still have to read the WP Reader. I’ll go on the reader now.
Some great blogs on tonight.

Turning off now, the need for food, you know. Hehe!

I bought some vegetarian sausages and some chips (fries) today. They were pale-looking and unattractive to me at first, but with salt and vinegar added, they were decent enough and not too hard on the teeth. I also bought a few potato waffles and halved tomatoes. Two wholemeal rolls and a pot of mandarins in jelly to follow. I gave Carer Chris the other two rolls with his other self-selected nibbles and drinkies.
I took this shot of the sunset from the kitchen window. Then
I did the washing up and eventually worked out how to play back the recorded Heartbeat episodes. I started watching Series 8, number eight and fell asleep. I woke up what I thought was a few minutes later and found I was watching Series 8, episode 15. I couldn’t believe it. I must have changed summat without remembering because, according to the recording, I’d watched 7 one-hour episodes, which meant it should now be about 05:00hrs. But it was 02:00hrs. I’m sorry I wrote this now; I’ve just confused myself more. An easy thing to do, though.

I’ll not mess about… Today started pretty well.
The Computer Froze. Somehow, I got it back on after the dreaded blue screen appeared. I pressed on with the blogging. The SD reader stopped working, and I spent hours not knowing what I was doing and getting so upset that Duodenal Donald kicked off for the first time in weeks! The Peptac was guzzled a lot after this started. It does no good, psychologically it may?

Then, both websites froze, including Google and Firefox.
I’d already lost hours on the first two disasters. I was lost on what to do with this one and thought it was the end.
I turned off the computer and then went back on again. I then got another dreaded MS blue screen. I was offered four options. But they may as well have been written in Outer Mongolian, from what I could glean or understand. Only the ‘Turn-Off Your Computer’ was decipherable. So I did. Really pissed off now. Even almost angry. I had a vision of me going into the fire at my cremation and waking up – such is my rotten, unbelievable luck.
I decided to get a wash and shower. Carer Chris came, and I got off track to give him his weekly treats for his son, as he’s off for two days. Medications, one diabetic sock on, and I bade him farewell and a good rest.
I went to the wet room for a good shave and shower, only to find that the hot water faucet had run cold! I remembered putting last night’s dishes in the sink to soak—then that, you know, sort of tightness of realisation in the stomach hit me en route to check to see if I’d left the hot tap running. I Had!
When Carer Joanne called, she didn’t look very well. But was kind enough to tell me some problems, with advice for me, with her Catheter, and I was having similar trouble. We were united in our sufferings. ♥
The JS order arrived, and the Low-Cost Food order arrived an hour or so later. The JS driver kindly put the things into boxes and bags for me, and bless her with cotton socks. ♥ Despite all the hassle of the day so far, I was pleased with some lemon wafer biscuits from the Low-Cost shop. And the adorable Vegan Maryland Cookies came from J Sainsbury. Now I have my three favourite nibbles to hand, and being depressed, lots of them were soon my tummy! I got a lot of bother from …serves me for being greedy.
Paracetamol & Codeines were taken. And no sooner,  started electrocuting me. Bad enough, but she’s been at it now for eight hours on & off!
I got some peas shelled t have with the beef pie and potatoes later on. But was concerned about not getting the blog done. So, I ventured to the computer desk, smelling my unwashed B.O., as I prayed 🙏🏻 for the SD Card thingy to work and Google or Firefox to work again, and got the computer on.
Hallelujah! 👍 Or at least partly, the browser was working again, but the SD card reader wasn’t interested.
About four hours later, I tried another reader, but that did not work. So, I took out the leads one at a time and returned them. About the 11th, the lead was returned, and Bejesus, the reader, worked! Now it’s getting dark, I’m drained, and my eyes are getting worse. Just thought I’d mention it. I’ve been up for over 18 hours and still only just started this blog. I had to get the photos on CorelDraw to save them to file… and I know this sounds impossible – But CorelDraw Crashed!
Luckily, this costly, incompetent art package does a lot of crashing, so I can remember what and how to go through the salvation process several times a week. But it cost me the most valuable thing after my health and wealth loss: my precious time. And I’m not in a good mood now. However, I shall continue into the morning to get caught up. ,

Well, it is well past time to get summat to eat,
See you later… if I can wake up in the morning. Haha!

It is Sunday morning now, and I am still well behind with this blog, with a lot of catching up to do. But, first, I had difficulty forcing myself to get up. After a terrible night of broken sleep. On with the blogging photographs…

Dark again.

Beautiful tree copse and bottom field,

Treats packed up.

Waste bags sorted.

Say no more…

Later kitchen window view.

JS order arrived.
Got the stuff away.
Ready-made meals and fresh garden peas.

Low Cost Food order.

Thompson’s Punjana brew.

Hours & hours lost with MS Windows, computer and CorelDraw difficulties. Deep Dank, Dark Depressions!

Ah, a nice shot here.

I started shelling some pod peas to go in with the ready meal of Cottage pie.
Got on a slow boil-simmer.

Went to get the fodder served up.
The rain was back!

Baked potatoes are on the left of the tray, and gorgeously tasty Flora No-Butter, butter, and podded peas are added.
Cottage pie with some Hammonds sauce on top.

We Need Peace

Peace to all, deserving or not…
Peace; Very little have we got,
Thanks to the Oligarchy lot,
Their fortune made is misbegot!
Peace? The chance is a longshot,
For peace, we can scheme and plot…
Putin prefers a riot…
But not amongst his own lot,
Anyone else is liable to get shot,
Peace is needed, but who gives a jot?
Find Peace? Humankind cannot!

(Starting this blog, Tuesday Morning)
The day of the one-eyed Inchy! Actually, Tuesday was as well. All day long, things were out of sync. My eyesight and hearing were not good, and I could not hear the intercom, door chime, or fire alarm activation. Cartilages Chloe and Carole were having a ball, freely issuing me pain at a whim. Both gave way a few times, but not at the wrong time, so no crumbling to the floor. Haha!
(I imagine they would have been disappointed in this).

And must have thought they deserved to win the prize for the ‘Bestest-Inchy-Brain-Interferers’ of the day. But that dubious honour was granted to , with a mention in despatches for & . The ankle ulcers  and   were both much kinder to me today.
I’m really not sure if I was having , , repeatedly falling asleep, or a combination of the three. But little got done that I set out to do. I felt so lacklustre.
Memory promoting from photos from here on.
The urine colour was not too bad later on.

Off to the . Messy!
The Asda order arrived. I handed some boxes and bags to the deliveryman, who kindly filled them for me
at the door.
Then I carted them to the kitchenette, putting the things away in storage, the freezer, the fridge, the cupboards, the floor, and the junk room.
I took some Kodak Tim photographs along the way. This selection had a bottle of disinfectant (Lemon), bleach, and washing-up liquid.
Here, I have a Milk Roll, sliced bread, kitchen towels, bicarbonate of soda, soda water, and some of the economy kitchen towels, which I use to clean my spectacles, hearing aids, and cough into. Thick-skinned red potatoes are used to make baked spuds. Small fresh tomatoes and quick to cook potato cakes. A ready-made feast of cooked meals. Lamb Hotpot, Jamaican patties, Cumberland pie, and a sweet & sour battered balls meal.
I’m not going to starve! Hehehe!
I must have ordered the wrong milk. It’s rare for me to get something wrong with food orders; this hardly ever happens. Ahem! Later, I tried this organic whole fresh milk. It was nothing special, but it was perfectly edible. My buying it again is not liable.
There was still room free in the fridge after packing everything into it.
Made a diversion to the wet room. For another of the visits. This time,  in control, but only just this time. I sensed a possible resurgence underway from . After noting the lack of any post-evacuation rumbling and grumbling from the innards, I made this decision.

A series of mini s, all through the afternoon, broke my already fragile concentration.

The drizzle stopped and the grey skies turned a lovely blue hue. Unfortunately, the blotches were still on the Kodak Tim snaps. Humph!
It looked to me, as the right ankle ulcer covered with the compression wrapping was doing better. That was because the wanting to scratch at the itching had returned. On the other foot, it looked like that ulcer was brewing up to do a bursting out. I can’t win. I dread the thought of having to walk with both ankles erupting and both Cartilages giving me grief. I’ll never be able to get to the surgery, clinic or hospital. Thinking this gave me a dread of having to use a wheelchair. Please, I hope not!

I took this evening’s snap from the kitchen window and then worked out my plans for the daily meal. The ready-made meal with the shortest sell-by date was the Lamb Hotpot.
I got some frozen potato chunks cooking in the oven. I checked the timing for the hotpot, and it was six minutes in the microwave. I got some lamb gravy ready to mix. Then retired to the itch-creating, bruise-giving, catheter-tube-tugging, crumb-decorated from my nocturnal nibbling, God-awfully uncomfortable, cringingly grotty, no longer working, dirty beige, anti-sleep designed, c1966, second-hand bought for £300 ten years ago from the charity shop recliner, to watch the end of the ‘Heartbeat’ programme. as the first adverts came on the screen. Waking up in response to a giant whole-body-twitch and jump! I recalled a bit of a dream I had been having. It involved me and Grizelda in mutual contact! So, say no more! Then I smelled the potatoes cooking in the oven…
I en route to the kitchenette, hit my shoulder on the edge of the door frame when I entered the kitchen. I found that the potatoes needed a little extra time to get them as I like them. Very well singed!
So I put the meal in the microwave, and as the microwave pinged, I took the potatoes out of the oven. I acquired the standard burnt finger on the oven racking. (I Germolened it.) Then I made some Germolene-flavoured Bisto lamb gravy, adding a drop of Winiary Przyprawa seasoning into the mix.
Then, put the potatoes into the bowl, and poured the gravy over them. Followed by scrapping the lamb hotpot contents out of the tray on top. What an absolute feast of a meal this was! It just may have been the flavour of the Germolene that gave it an extra tang? Hehehe! I had a pot of mandarins in jelly to round off the meal.
Passed wind, bleached and drifted of into another mind-blank or sleep.
Woke up to find the food tray had fallen, leaving crumbs and gravy all over my new nightshirt, my legs, bandages and the carpet. I had to change my attire.
Carer Chris arrived and laughed when he saw the T-shirt that Sister Jane bought me a few years ago. He took a Kodak Tim snap of it and then of the sun setting from the balcony windows.
It was so sad to see so many new blotches in the Horizon pictures, sob!

It was good of Chris to take the piccies for me, all the same.

A much disturbed night of sleep. But little bother all the same. As soon as I got back from the hospital, I got undressed and left the clothing on the floor… so tired!
I attached the nocturnal bag to the day pouch, did the safety checks, and climbed into the much-awaited bed.
Between the occasional waking up from my , they were copable with, I just drifted back into the land of nod each time.
As I woke, I could sense the itching from my covered forehead. I could also see the flakes of skin all over the quilt. Tsk! I rose and nearly tripped over the clothes I’d left on the floor in my fatigue.
I then had to move the mass of skin from the bedding. I did all this while the nocturnal pouch on the long tube was being pulled about. I checked to see if anything was leaking. And what did I discover? The flipping night bag had nothing in it! Come think of it. I did wake up with the innards rumbling. I went into a Sherlock Holmesian mode and had a look. Had a tube come off, was one blocked, had blood from the fungal lesion blocked it? No. I’d not opened the tap!
So, off to the wet room to the Porcelain Throne to check things out pr
operly.
Great Balls of Fire! A comeback from being in total control. Despite my best efforts, everything seemed rock hard and would and could not be encouraged to move. Still, I had a go at a new crossword in the book. Not that I did well, because I didn’t. Spit!
I cleaned up, returned to the computer, and started updating yesterday’s blog, finishing it off. I got it done.

I started getting calls for parts of the day, up until around 1600 hrs, when Carer Chris arrived. The early callers were Carers Favour and Sam, I think.

Tee sun broke through the clouds, and very pretty they looked, too. Despite the blotches, I tried again to get one that would be blotch-free.
But the kettle started boiling, and this was my first brew of the day. I’m only allowed two mugs, so I concentrated on mashing the Glengettie. Then just stood there, watching the clouds, for ages, almost talking to them. Then I got Kodak Tim and tried again for a snap. They looked a little darker this time.
I took advantage of the lighting, thinking I may get a decent crisp photo of the housing on the street opposite. That’s the one with the suspected drug growers on it. It came out alright, but of course, the usual blotches were there. I try to ignore them now. Hehehe!

Here are the revelations of the differences quiz.

I blogged for a while, but the mind-blanks steadied up the progress and annoyed me. I’m waiting for an appointment at the hospital again for someone to check things out. I think it is a neuro-something or other doctor.
The sun suddenly took a dive for some reason.
I got Kodak and captured it.
Minutes later, the sun came out again? But I didn’t catch it as I had to try again to pass on the .
No chance. How can it change so often and quickly? Beats me! Then again, lots of things do that… like crosswords, hopes, arithmetic, women, Putin, and Peripheral Neuropathy. Then there’s Cataract Katie and Glaucoma Gladys, Cartilages Chloe & Carol, and so many other things, such as life and humankind.
Do I sound depressed? Hehehe!

I made up a sachet of relief drink soda and took a Senna tablet. I’m determined to get some action going from the rear end! I also decided to have some of the vegetarian sausages with tonight’s meal.
That should encourage things to soften and get moving again.
We’ll see!
Fingers crossed.

I took this shot with Kodak Tim through the balcony windows.
The blotches were covered a little by the colour of the clouds, so it looked fine.
It took a while to cook the meal. I saved everything, and as I got ready to close down the computer, I decided to have a mandarin in an orange jelly pot!
I kept snapping away at the unique cloud formations that blended with the death throws of the sunshine.
My Pareidoliaising on these two snaps went on and on. Animal’s mouths, so many faces, feet, swordfish, islands in the sea, and blotches that I just could not see!
A ribbon of white on the horizon in this one on the left.
But also, the blotches can be seen easily. Shame!
I still liked this one.

There are veggie sausages, tomatoes, and potatoes. I would have some sugar snap peas to encourage the rear-end activities, but I left them on the stove. Say no more!
I washed the pots, and before climbing into the bed (it’s a high one), I spotted and took my last snap of the day through the balcony windows.

TTFNski, Each!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

The Dang-nabbed pains from the lower regions of Little Inchie are slowly getting worse again. I know how this affected me over the last two weeks of agonising suffering, and I am not looking forward to the pains getting worserer. And this, with the more frequent ‘Out-Of-It’, Mind-Banks and possible seizures, I am going to ring the Doctor on Monday and try to get things looked into. The Acne and Barrier cream prescriptions that the Chemist had received from the Doctor eight days ago have not arrived with the monthly prescriptions; they were late and left me without pain-numbing Codeines for two days.
Just when I needed them more than ever.
That (I hope) is the end of my moaning.

At 05:50 hrs, I bounded out of bed and did fifty toe touches and 100 press-ups. I ran down the 12 flights of fire escape stairs and back up again to the flat. I made a drink of carrot juice and had five raw eggs. Or, the truth. At 05:50 hrs, I came back to consciousness, in pain with the they’d woken me up so many times in the night),  , and the pains from rampant. I had a feel around with some kitchen towelling, and at least this time, there was only a smidgeon of bleeding. As I forced my legs from the bed, a new language was coming from my mouth. Something along the lines of; Arghhh, ug, shit, oho! sodditski”. As I was catching my balance, a developed. It only lasted for a few seconds but it  , right against the right foot . I caught the ankle, and my lesion is now leaking. Not that it bothered me, of course. Ahem!
This shot of the legs and nocturnal pouch I took when I was doing my ablutions shows how good the urine colouring was this morning. Do you see the bones sticking out on the feet? That was due to contribution to the morning ailments.
I washed and shaved, and after stopping the bleeding ear hole, I did the Medicationings as required and made a brew of rich, strong Glengettie tea. Then, I got the computer on and faced a mammoth task.
I’d done a little prep work on CorelDraw, but I have not started anything on this blog yet. And due to Mind Blanks whatever, I was struggling.

This cost me even more time and bother. I found myself in the kitchen, cooking a microwave meal, and unconcerned at that time, I got out a baguette to go with it. I knew it was beans, and it had an odd taste—not bad, just different. I sat at the computer with the tray in a drawer and ate it, not all of it. But I don’t usually have a meal in the morning. Good heavens, it’s afternoon now. Investigations were needed to satisfy my own curiosity.

First, I retrieved the sleeve from the waste bin to find out exactly what I’d just eaten. It was a Vegetarian Chilli.
Then I perused the caregiver log folder. Yes, two caregivers had called on me without any memory whatsoever of the visits!
Joanne and Israel, this must have been a long seizure or whatever it was. I’d used the new vacuum thingy during the blackout, I suppose. Because it had been moved and left near the caregiver’s table, I may have been demonstrating it. Joanne, likely. The tray and dishes had also been washed.

The rumblings and grumblings from my innards suggested that I might want to visit the wet room. So, I did!
Another turnabout in the evacuation process! A complete reversal of yesterday’s reluctant, painful, rear-end-splitting concrete torpedo! This was like a straw-coloured with a tinge of green, cabbage-bringing to mind, never-stopping sloppy dollop. The catheter day bag sleeve was standing up well. I’ll need a carer to do it when it needs replacing or gets dirtier. It is fraying at the bottom cut-out hole to accommodate the on-off valve snout.
The right hand is more painful than when I first burned it on the oven rack. I’m trying not to put anything in my right-side pocket because I’ve been going into it to get the camera, and each time, I forget all about it and give out an Arrgh! Hehe!
Carer Israel came for the least two visits.
I spent a while concentrating but did not succeed in finishing the blog. I think I finished it at about 23:00 hrs.

The potatoes had been in the crock-pot for over 14 hours. But they tasted okay. For some reason, the brown baguettes seemed tasteless, as if something had been left out of the contents. I ate half of one of them. The sausages were brilliant!

I tried to get the flat balconies in this shot.

Keep well, and don’t let them grind you down!

TTFN.

Cutbacks, sorry.
Still too dark, Hey-Ho!

I didn’t do a good job with my shot of the morning view. It looked right till I uploaded it. Tsk!

He started off last night.

I lost hours when this screen came up on the computer. I may have pressed something unintentionally, a combination? I’m always catching the Conrol, Windows or Alt button without sensing it. Not the foggiest what it was all about. I turned it off and rebooted; I could not type anything without all the text being highlighted? Anyone help me?
Still, it came back on, but CorelDraw would not let me select anything. I had a sob, spat a bit, swore and turned it off again for ten minutes.
Things seem to be working again???

The highlight of the day? I’ve just remembered I’m not to post photos of any Carers on here! So, I have removed it. So funny as well!

I got domestic help from Carer Kimberly. She cleaned the kitchen floor, then the wet room and floor, and, for her final task, hoovered the front room. Lovely!
As she was putting the speedmop away, I suggested I take a photo of her doing it, like they do in the TV adverts. She was all for it and joked about her going for a model job, acting for Flash.
I took two shots, and caught her action in whipping off the strip, just as on the TV. I loved having a laugh about it. I felt a part of things.

The Iceland order came. The only thing different or worth mentioning is they had no substitutes, and the bananas, a hand of five, only had one of them squashed and bruised. Very good! For them!

I spent hours and hours doing the blog again.
The ups & downs of life…
Like no longer having a wife,
Depressed and suffering strife,
I cut myself on the steak knife…
The computer is giving me grief,
My tender area was bleeding underneath,
Also bleeding were my gums and teeth,
Panicking, in need of relief…
My bad luck beggars belief!
My nose is running like a sieve!
Life seems emotionally expensive,
Sorry, I’m just being expressive!
Sorry, it was a smidge intensive!

Amazing sky again, well, the clouds.

How did you do?

Noshtime!
The photo I took of the stew had gone AWOL again from the SD card.

Well, there were still plenty of hassles, worries, and mistakes made. There were many visits and stings from . I have never had so many during the day before on a single day. I am greedy! Hehehe! The Doctor’s surgery gave me a tinkle. To make an appointment for them to give me painkilling injections in the knees, to counter & . I’ll see if I can remember to tell them about the latest ailment craze from . She made an appointment for 09:40hrs on Thursday, 18th April. Same day as I was to be going to the Diabetes Course in Bulwell. Can’t win ’em all… Humph, I can’t win any! Haha!
The replacement carpets ruined in the flood escapades arrived.
I cleaned the wet room again, another mess made by yours truly, Inchy. The hallway carpet had not dried yet, so I went into the wet room, taking black bits from the carpet onto the floor!
I decided to wash the bottoms of the slippers and dry them off well. Naturally, I got soapy water on the soft outers of the slipped and had to put them on the fairer to dry. Then, the need for the Throne arrived in a bit of a rush. I made more mess going in with my bare feet this time. Tried to use kitchen towels to clean it up, using my feet, but I couldn’t bend down far enough without suffering from the pain. And if I did get down, I’d probably not have been able to get up again! Then, trying to wash my feet, I got my plates of meat into the bowl alright, but at just the optimum time to cause me the worst degree of bother, as I was removing the dodgier right leg, prone to bursting into a wild dance of its own accord, I had a  , and tipped the bowl over! Thus had to clean the place up again for the third time! I took the bag of rubbish and put it in the waste chute. ; not realising how early it was in the day. (approx 05:00hrs) I’m going to get it in the neck now; from those people, I might have woken up. Tsk!
Finally, at long last, I set about having a shave (only one cut). I searched for the toothpaste. After a few minutes of failed investigation, I assumed it had dropped, and I’d taken it out in the waste bags. Arrgh! It was also the last of the prescription toothpaste.
I think at one time, I believed I was still asleep and dreaming. The showering was okay… just one clouting of my head on the power box today.
I got the medicationalisationing done. Amazing, I easily got the PPs on. No socks, of course, like a baby waiting for his nanny; the Carer will sort that out for me later
. I got on the computer. Carer Kimberly arrived. Socks on, medications, a mini-natter, and laughter were enjoyed.
There was a bit of mini-blank here. Hours later, the intercom rang out, and the first of the carpets arrived. Five minutes later, the second carpet (Well, rugs or mats, really).
arrived. We spent a few minutes setting the world to rights. She seemed to have a sore throat. I hope she is not getting the dreaded lurgy.
No idea why, but there must have been some logic in it somewhere; I made a J Sainsbury order for 14 days time. I think it may have been… no, no idea.
I called back later and returned the borrowed bag of ‘s. I was pleased to be in a position to help some other tenant out with the loan. It makes a change from flooding them out, and guilt returns!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Onwards to the photos.
The urine in the night bag looked much darker when I viewed it with my admittedly poor eyes.
The wet room farce was over. It looked good after three hours of mayhem and cleaning it up again… and again, and finally, once again this morning.
Damned good job I couldn’t sleep and got up early. Not that the poor devils living in the twelve-floors below, would appreciate it with me using the darned waste chute that early in the day. Guilt again!
This is the first picture of the view from the kitchenette that I took.
The amazing blue hue was back again. Bootiful!

I forgot to tell you, when I was cleaning the wet room, I used the new lavatory brush. Can I get it back in its hub? I still can’t.

The day pouch was filling up swiftly today. However, it was getting darker as the say went on. It usually does the opposite.
My first mug of Glengettie tea of the day. It really is the best I’ve ever tasted.
Shame I’m only allowed two cups a day. (Sob!)
The postman dropped my Anticoagulation results DVT, INR, and through the letter box. An increase in dosages. It’s a smidge low.
The most amazing cloud formation this evening.
Not unlike the news snippet above Mammatus clouds?
I see so many things in these three pictures.
I’ve put in this blog a little larger.
I hope that my fellow bloggers, Tim Price and Paul, and any reader, can see what I did in them. Who is a  Pareidolianist?
The second mug of Glengettie was enjoyed while I was blogging away merrily. The authenticity of the last bit is dubious.
Why the hell do I write so small? I know full well (at times) that my eyesight is crap, and I’ll not be able to read what I’ve written!

I got the smallest of the mats into the wet room. I decided this should be recorded for prosperity. Despite my shakes, I was determined to get a picture taken with the whole mat in it – I didn’t!

Carer Helen called, and medications were given.
After I offered them, she took about 40 of my DVDs with her, as I cannot see or hear them nowadays. She’ll collect the others later. Great, a clear out at last.

Better get the nosh prepared… it’s nearly midnight. A tastier effort tonight. Well, this morning.  (pork knuckle), Golonkowa, chips, a brown wholemeal baguette and a pot of naughty but so delicious lemon curd yoghourt.

I found it, but it took me 33 seconds.

Woke and rose at 04:15hrs: After over five hours of kipping! Grrreat!  Took me a while to nod off, but I only had three, I think
And didn’t visit me once! But, as usual, when I moved, this time it was both & giving me grief, and it must have taken me five minutes to get to the wet room. More on that later.
The absolute worst thing to affect me was in the late afternoon, & launched an attack that I ended up surrendering to and gave up trying to do this blog. Defeated!
With the coughing and downfall of skin when the forehead. , I’m surprised I have any skin left on my head; it was falling off all day. Later I rang Sister Jane, and she and hubby Pete were not in good health at all. Jane’s cough sounded terrible. I’m worried about her now. As I moved to get the B17 tablets that Jane had told me had a
rsenic in them and told me not to use them, to read the label – I went down on one knee. Suddenly, I dropped the landline telephone. , I took a tumble when  gave way. I grappled my way back up on my feet to get to the landline; poor Jane was coughing away something wicked. So many people seem to have this ‘Lurgie’ thing this week. Several Carers, the nurse, the electrician… oh, and me. I hope it’s not another form of Covid, and HMG wants to keep it quiet, with the election coming up?
Much later, I tried again to get some blogging done. Well, I did a bit, but it was error-ridden and amazingly hard work, trying to
keep a clear head on the task.

Passed well, not a bad colour.

Concrete, mush, torpedo, gooey, nothing moved, wet and watery, squirty… Never the same twice in a row! You watch it now I’ve said thatHehe!

Kitchen view.

Back to the wet room. Not for the again, but to clean up Little Inchies bleeding, I caught the catheter tube closing the window. Talk about hurt! Cleaned it up and medicated things

On leaving the wet room, I saw the moon high in the sky. I thought this is worth photographicalisationing. But could I get a decent shot? No!
This is getting bad now. This time, as I was trying to get a decent shot, a , not only that but joined in as well. Then, after taking the sad pictures and closing the window… , I knocked the knife block off of the window ledge. The tip end of the cheese knife broke off when it hit the floor.

Naturally, these incidents didn’t phase or bother me in the slightest. I just laughed them off.

I made a brew of Glengettie and got the computer on to work on this blog. A new Caregiver arrived and Medicated me, put the diabetic soaks on for me, and had a little natter. What about escapes me now. Tsk!

I computed for it appears, for five hours, according to the clock, but not according to the work and progress not done on the blog. I may have suffered a   or maybe , but I recall nothing of this time whatsoever. The rot had set in.

called, and I bluffed my way through. I think, in fact, I did not stop talking to the poor gal. It would help if I could remember what she was talking about. I think I may have, possibly, conceivably mentioned the Lurgy because Joanne sounded like she had a sore throat… or did she?

I did continue on the blog, but it was a bit farcical. I’ll have to get u[ early in the morning so I can get a shave and shower before the Carer arrives, then get back on this Inchy blog. I’d taken some photos… I know this cause I found them on the SD card.
What amazing views.
Gorgeous.
Oh, how I’d love to recall the pleasure of taking them.
These two below, I took later.
I do recall taking these.

I won’t make a meal yet cause it’s close to the last Carer calling time. I’m a different being compared to the one I was hours ago. Struggling a bit here!

But I’m so glad I got the graphics and ode done early on.

Best nosh in a long time.
